Ordered the Clams Po-​boy sandwich and pizza, it was delicious and fast delivery! Foods was still hot!

Best clams casino in the area ! The service is always great, and the nipper fries are out of this world.

Nippers has, in my opinion, the juiciest, mouth-​wateringiest burger I have ever had. I’m usually a healthy eater who minds her weight, but I am so happy I made an exception for Nippers.
While on vacation, my travels took me to Norristown for the High-​Speed Line, and an empty belly growled in the quiet county seat. I originally wanted to visit the healthy spot across the street, but something about Nippers caught my eye. Was it the deals on crab? Was it the suburban style standalone establishment? I’ll never know, but me and my boyfriend were welcomed into the cozy bar/​restaurant.
Nippers has a selection of bar food as well as seafood, but I really wanted a burger. The cheeseburger, served with your choice of an endless selection of cheese, came on French-​style bread. Combined with an order of their delectable Nipper Fries (spicy fries with cheese) and you have a cheat meal worthy of the struggle to get into skinny jeans. Service is relaxed and casual, with no pretense. This is definitely a great place to chill.
I’m from NYC, so the prices here are BEYOND a bargain. $ 3 beer specials are almost unheard of where I’m from.

They have really crunchy wings. Quite possibly the estimate wings I have ever had. Try the wings! Also, the have an alligator sausage burger, I suggest you try that too.

Great Pizza, Great Beer, Great Staff what else could you wish for in a cheap pizza dive bar.

I had heard the seafood here was good so I gave it a try. When you walk in the place it appears to be a pizza parlor on one side separated by a doorway to a little local neighborhood sports bar on the other with tables for seating. It’s a clean establishment — not divey at all. I took a seat at the bar and ordered a beer. They have quite a few good choices. The daily specials on the chalk board all looked like items you would find in a higher end restaurant. I ordered a shrimp appetizer and the crab cake dinner. Both were delicious! However, expect your food on plastic plates with plastic utensils. Something that doesn’t bother me when the food is as good as it was here. The service was good also. The only other con worth mentioning is that you should expect to hear the F-​bomb dropped often by the locals around the bar. It’s a biker crowd. Again, something that didn’t bother me as long as I’m not there with my kids.

Service is generally slow and always seem to get forgotten when it comes to drink refills. However the food is tasty and reasonably priced. They’re pizza and Strombolis and large and yummy. I love the crust used in both and the marinara with the Stromboli is very good. The wings are large and crisp. The crab cake sandwich is very crabby with little filler but it is pretty small portion wise. I must say that chaps next door has one of the best crab cake ive ever had so that’s generally my comparison. They usually have pretty good soups too — love the seafood chowder.

We loved it here! We ordered the bruschetta and mozzarella sticks which were both tasty and came out quickly. We had crabs and clams in red which were AMAZING. The clams in red came with plenty of bread to soak up the sauce, too.
This is around the corner from us. We love the feeling of a relaxed local bar. The waitress was so friendly and was cracking jokes with us the whole time. She checked on us just enough and the service was on point. I believe her name was Devin. I would definitely want to sit in her section again.
We can’t wait to visit again with neighbors who have also been wanting to try it here, and to try some other menu items. It will be a go-​to spot for us from now on for a quick bite without sacrificing the food and service!

While I will confess that the food was acceptable, the service was not. I ordered Seafood Gumbo, but had to ask three times for a spoon – and it was served in a thin plastic bread bowl, to boot, and with cheap plastic fork and knife. My daughter didn’t receive her stromboli until ten minutes after the rest of us received our food. It became clear, the longer we sat there, who the regulars were (faster seating and service) and who the first-​time visitors were (us, but not again). Too many gaps, Nippers.

The food tasted alright but the service was unprofessional and lousy. Food came hot but did not come out at all together! First we got our french fries… Half way through eating my fries, my cheese steak finally came… When I was done eating my sandwich, then my friend’s Stromboli came out. (I’m a slow eater too)

When we were ready to go, it took forever to flag down our waitress and get the check.
Now when we talked about going out to eat, we joke and say anywhere but Nippers!
Also, the parking lot is not lit up well at night.

A chill, local joint to grab some decent food and affordable drinks. The crowd is mainly local residents but no shade there. I like spontaneity of being able to go somewhere close to home without always having to go to Philly for a good time.

Nipper’s of Jeffersonville, PA, is in the former Perrotto’s Pizza location. I miss that, but I don’t miss Nipper’s one bit. You can tell just by looking at the facility it’s been there for many years, but that’s what makes going there an experience.
You have your choice of a full-​scale bar or casual dining. Both have TV’s so you can catch your favorite games or shows. I don’t eat burgers as much as I used to, but the Nipper Burger is great. Their fries have a unique seasoning as well. The chicken steaks and fingers are very good too – but if you order the fingers you only get three, that’s why they’re priced as such. The sodas, however, are bottomless. The waitstaff is friendly and courteous and make you feel at home.
The interior is a little shady, especially at night, but what they offer more than makes up for it. You can spend more if you want but they do have good food at reasonable prices – not to mention a full selection of beers. On weekend nights you may have a hard time finding a place to park, but other than that the trip to Jeffersonville to this establishment is well worth it. Up until recently they had dinner-​only hours; now they open earlier so they can serve lunch as well. When you’re finished you have to go to the cashier to pay, but I don’t have a problem with that. In fact, it’s a refreshing break from some of the chain eateries that are trying to get you to do everything electronically.

Absolutely delicious food. The French fries with cheese and bacon are very good. The buffalo chicken Stromboli is delicious.
Reasonable prices. Not a fancy place but food is worth the visit.

This little rinky dink bar BLOWS Chickie & Pete’s out of the water. We started with steamers and then my hubby had mussels in red sauce and I had the Alaskan King crab OMG awesome. Definitely a place to go back too and bypass the commercial Chickie’s. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but don’t let it fool you food is great.
Totally recommend this little gem

Came home for a visit, and of course we had to go to nippers. We went twice in four days. Pizza, wings and nipper fries are still phenomenal! The staff and owners still absolutely amazing. I can’t say enough good things about this place!

Nippers is my go-​to bar for great food, great service, and that ubiquitous refreshing beer after a long day.
The interior is your standard dark bar, but don’t let that deter you. The friendly waitstaff and great bartenders will brighten your day! On tap is a decent mix of your usual with a few crafts.
The food I’ve had here has been consistently outstanding, from their burgers (including Tuesday’s modestly-​portioned dollar burgers!) to seafood (King crab legs? Low-​country-​style boils? Muscles in white? Yes, yes, and yes!) to great pub grub (most notably the French Quarter Fries, oozing with creamy cheese and generously topped with bacon).
I try to go on the slower weekdays when I can just relax with the regulars and catch a game. Thursday karaōke isn’t quite my cup of tea, and Sunday EDM night, while popular with the younger crowd, has a bit too much energy for my sensibilities. Keep an eye out for the great seafood specials on Wednesdays and Sundays as well as Tuesday’s Power Hour, featuring discount drinks from 10pm-​11pm.
If you’re ordering a burger or any meal with fries, you may want to ask for a little «Nippers Cheese» on the side. You’ll thank me.

Stopped in Saturday evening after watching the movie World War Z (very good storyline by the way) to pick up dinner. At first glance, you may think… uh…not too sure about that place but trust me when I tell you that you would be missing out on some really good food. The place is very clean and organized and the staff is very kind and professional. No smoking inside so you may see smokers outside the entrance door.
I ordered the Morgan City burger made with andouille sausage and beef burger. It’s spicy with good flavor and comes with shredded lettuce, tomatoes and purple onions. There is a sauce (not sure what it is) that ties all the flavors together. I also ordered the fried shrimp with coleslaw (yum) and cocktail sauce.
Take a chance and stop in.

This review is solely for the bar experience:
I came by tonight to grab a drink with a friend whose been here tons of times. She knows I tend to like dive-​esque type bars, so she figured I would like this one. The bar was super busy (every stool was taken when we were there), but the bartender handled everything very well. Our drinks were strong and well mixed (unlike some other bars I’ve been to).
This is like the neighborhood bar hangout; the type of place you go with your friends to grab a drink. I’d say 3 stars overall, and an extra star for the super nice bartender (with her strong drinks!).

This review is not based on the food side. This is based on the night time antics.
I’ve gone a couple nights, most recently for karaōke, and I felt like I stepped into a bad nightclub. I will say the singers weren’t bad, but the girls were dressed like they belonged on the street corner. The bartenders are good, I didn’t have to wait long for a drink even though the bar was packed, so that was a redeeming quality. I don’t think I’ll visit much, as Chap’s down the street is much nicer even if the service isn’t as good.
