Horrible customer service and deceptive business practices. I purchased a deal from them for a $ 119 remote starter. They told me that my car would require extra work so it would cost $ 399. They told me the dealer would charge at least $ 800. I thought it was a good deal. I called the dealer to check their prices as the dealer is always outrageously priced, I was shocked to discover it was only $ 385! They lied to me… When I called back to inform them of the information I found and to cancel my deposit they became angry. They tried convincing me that the dealer is not using factory parts and there is no warranty… umm don’t think so! The owner got on the phone and told me he was declining my business. Great, that’s exactly what I wanted. Stay clear of this place.

If you received a Groupon auto remote start deal for these guys, get a refund ASAP. I received the Groupon as a gift. I didn’t need a remote start for my vehicle, so I tried negotiating with these guys for any other goods or services (with a low materials/​labor cost to them) such as window tinting. They refused to work with me and wouldn’t do this. My only option was to use this toward another remote start installation; that’s all they would do. Of course, the amount you get on the voucher will not cover an installation should you have keyless entry, push to start, a factory auto theft deterrent system, or a chipped key. Those will cost more than the entire voucher to install. The woman at the front desk informed another customer that to work with the chip and anti theft system that it would be another $ 150 on top of the $ 110 paid for the voucher.
I have no reason to come here in the future after this bad experience.

Saw the $ 119 Remote Start offer on Groupon and the «fine print» about possible additional charges. Spoke to Heather, who asked about my car. We agreed that my car came with a chip in the key and that the doors would not open with the chip after the car is running. I said «I know this because I have started the car with one key, and had to manually lock the door with another key, the old-​fashioned way — by inserting the key in the lock and turning, not using the chip».
She told me it would cost $ 130 more to support the chip in my keys. I told her I did not care about having that support, I would take the basic system, and unlock the car as I described above. Her reply was, «What about when the locks freeze and your key would not work?» Again, I replied that I was not concerned about that (after all, what is the point of remote start — to warm up the car). How many people think a lock will often remain frozen after the interior of the car is warmed up, if it ever froze in the first place? Anyway, there are inexpensive sprays available to thaw frozen locks.
Now, we get to the truth of the matter. Heather says, and I quote, «We would not install the system in your car for $ 119 without the extra module for $ 130». Not because it would not work, but because they want more money. Remote Start would work just fine, and I could unlock the car without using the chip, as I always have in the past, but ASAP is not interested in selling the system as offered on Groupon for only $ 119 (or Amazon Local, or Living Social) without the additional module, so they are NOT WILLING TO HONOR THE GROUPON AS ADVERTISED.
I believe that is a perfect example of Bait & Switch. I believe Bait & Switch is a scam. Heather wanted to argue that it is not. I did not want to waste my time arguing with Heather about this and I certainly was no longer interested in buying into the apparent «scam», so I hung up, after telling her I got the information I wanted.
From the other reviews, it seems they’re doing everything to deserve the bad reputation they’ve had since trying to rip me off and many others, about a year ago.

Absolute slimeballs.
Got a coupon as a gift through Amazon Local for a remote start from them. Was really excited to get it installed, but the problems started day one. I tried calling for weeks; no answer on the phone, ever. No answering machine, no nothing — it just rang indefinitely.
This morning I tried to stop by before work, wound up waiting 20 minutes for someone to show up and talk to me. Within seconds of starting the conversation, they informed me that they could not install the starter the voucher was for, and that futhermore it was ‘not very good’ and they’d rather not install it in someone’s car to begin with. I was understandably incredulous and after some back and forth clarifying they told me I’d have to go for a much more expensive unit that would set me back an additional 200 dollars, and that futhermore despite them valuing the voucher at nearly 400 dollars they’d only give me a credit of what was paid for it (a little over 100) for the installation. When I asked them if they were okay with this, they said, «Yeah, we’ve sold like, 1,700 of them. I’m pretty sure we’re okay with it.» He also responded to my concerns about my personal treatment with reassurances that they’ve been in business for however long and how he’s worked on many expensive luxury cars (none of these facts are relevant to the fact that the deal had been entirely misrepresented.)
Now, to properly frame this, I was entirely prepared to pay for additional bits of wiring, parts etc. I almost expected that there would be something related to my particular installation which would require me to lay out a little extra money, and that was fine. In fact, when we had started speaking, one of the first questions he’d asked me was whether or not I’d called in to see if they needed parts. I responded that I actually had tried to do this, but nobody ever answered the phone in the weeks that I had tried (I’ve been trying to call since around christmas time) so I was never able to get an answer — this was immediately shrugged off, with «yeah, we’re pretty busy» offered as the only response. No apology, nothing. In the end, there was no possible way that I could get the thing that the coupon was for (a remote starter, installed, for whatever the cost of the coupon was) in my situation. They would not offer me a path to getting what I had purchased from them and seemed to have no problem with simply saying, «yeah, you bought a product that was advertised as x, but there’s no possible way you can actually have that.» There was no offer of a part that could make it work, no offer of a refund, just a simple «you have to buy this more expensive unit, end of story.» He was so unfazed by putting me in this ridiculous position that he segued from asking what brand of car I had into trying to push the more expensive unit on me without even taking a breath, and with no explanation as to why I wasn’t informed of this being a possibility when the purchase was made.
At this point I was absolutely baffled, and I just had to recap what had been said, I asked the manager who I was speaking to, just to make sure that I had things right, that he was absolutely sure that I was only going to get $ 108 for the coupon (which makes it not a deal, at all,) that there was no possible way I would get what had been advertised and paid for without spending another 200 dollars (TWICE the cost of the amazon local deal) and that he was okay telling me that my business didn’t matter to him (since clearly, when I expressed displeasure his only response was «well there’s plenty of other people who bought these.») He then screamed, «shut up and listen to me for a second.»
At this point I stormed out, informing him I was going to complain to Amazon Local, to which he said, «Go ahead!». They’re confrontational, unresponsive, incredibly sketchy and entirely uninterested in providing anything resembling customer service. The business itself is dirty and uncomfortable, with piles of parts strewn all over the floor in the «showroom,» which really feels more like a dirty basement. The owner is, in no uncertain terms, a clueless jerk. I wish I could be more kind to him, I wish there was a less colorful way to say it, but that’s really the only way you can get across the experience of dealing with him. There’s no better way to put it. While i’m sure that the individual technicians are experienced and good people I think the people in charge are way too slimy to be trusted and you would be better served at another location. I have never experienced this level of rudeness or dishonesty at any business I’ve dealt with. The person I was talking to was smug, condescending, rude, and completely incapable of empathizing with the fact that I felt as if I was being mistreated.
Needless to say, I immediately called Amazon, got a refund, and will not be doing any business with ASAP ever again.

Extremely poor customer service and that is before I stepped into the showroom. I emailed them about getting a quote on services I wanted to get a few weeks ago. I got it but when i asked for more information I received the rudest response ever. I read other reviews with similar experience but I didn’t believe a business would act that way. I guess I was wrong. I know I would probably spend about $ 800 so not the biggest customer but I was really surprised at their response. Imagine the response I would get if I needed to bring the car back if there was something wrong with the install. I will not post on the quality of install since I will be going somewhere else.

I wish they had a option for 0 stars. This place is horrible. Brought my 2013 Honda Pilot in for a auto start. ASAP called and said the car would be ready for pick up Saturday night. The call came in at 8:30 PM we got to the shop ready to pick up my car at 9:00 PM needless to say we did not leave until 11:00 pm. When I got in the car, i noticed the parking sensor error was on (and that was just the beginning). With the key not in the ignition the auto start disables everything including the heat (and yes i made sure my heat was turned on) Once the key goes in the ignition the heat comes on and the parking sensor error goes off (after about 20 minutes). The reccomendation from the shop was to take it to the dealership because obviously it is not their problem. We called on Tuesday the following week to bring it back in and even set up a appointment for this Friday 2÷13÷15. My husband received a call from them today 2÷11÷15 not to bring it in that they will not fix it … My husband was explaining to the receptionist that we did not have these problems prior to the installation and the car was just certified and purchased in ¹¹⁄₁₄. When my husband asked to speak to the owner… his words were threating and he told my husband that he disrespected his girlfriend and that he should brake his f-​ing neck. We told them to take it out and they told us «no». Needless to say we are taking it to the dealership to get fixed … HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE
