Thai Delight is my all-time favorite Thai restaurant! The atmosphere and menu are incredible, along with their extremely friendly and hardworking staff. The only«problem» I’ve ever had is finishing my meal as their portions are quite large.

Been here twice so far. Staff is really friendly. Their hot and sour soup was alright but their pad Thai was pretty mediocre. I got the number 5 spice and it wasn’t even that spicy. It’s just pretty convenient and cheap and good portions.

Their pad thai was mediocre at best. The flavor was majorly lacking, and it tasted like there was something missing– like an important ingredient or something. It almost didn’t taste like pad thai. Their pineapple fried rice was good but not great. There was nothing special about it. Their sushi is good but you can get better sushi somewhere else for much cheaper! The only items I would recommend are their desserts. I especially loved the cheesecake tempura with vanilla ice cream and the mango sticky rice. The cheesecake tempura was rich and delicious, and it can feed 2 – 3 people. Definitely worth the price! The mango sticky rice has a such a unique taste. I loved the blend of coconut milk, sweet sticky rice and fresh mango. I also have to commend the staff. They were all very lovely. Our server was all smiles and catered to all our needs. She refilled our drinks timely. She popped in every once in a while to ask how we were doing but wasn’t too overbearing or annoying. Overall, Thai Delight was okay. Food wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t great.

Such a great Thai restaurant in Norman. The lobster roll is amazing and so is the volcano appetizer. The pad thai is one of the best I’ve ever had and the yellow curry is delicious. Those are my favorite dishes but any dish you get here will be delicious. Always quick and good service. The people are super friendly and it’s a great vibe.

I’m on a quest for finding the best pad Thai in Norman, and this place is not bad at all. To be honest, I like Thai Delight so much because of the large food selection rather than the pad Thai itself, which is just okay. I’ve had their other Thai foods like the kao soi and pad see-ew and thought they were pretty good! The ambience is really nice; it’s like a pseudo-fancy place(pseudo because it really doesn’t require anything fancy yet gives off that kind of atmosphere with its soft music and pleasant décor and setup). And if you’re allergic to peanuts then I’m sorry because their salad with peanut dressing is probably my favorite part of every meal here. Seriously. It’s so good. Definitely check out their lunch menu, too. I mean, I’m on a college student budget, so I’ll take the good Thai food at the smaller price for sure.

Food was good. Service was poor. Waited nearly 45 minutes for seaweed salads and soup! Seriously? Then another 30 minutes for our salad. When it came to checkout– we went to the counter and she asked me to wait at the table for her because of the«policy.» Really made me scratch my head a few times. Probably won’t return. At least the food was good.

My boyfriend and I go here sometimes. He tries different stuff, and I stick with the Pad Thai. It’s always pretty good. The service is always nice, too. The reason I put four stars is because nothing really makes the place stick out as cool or different.(Plus the Pad Thai had some more stuff in it than is listed on the menu, like mushrooms. It could be like that on some other foods, too.)

Great service, love the people there! Probably partial to them as i have always enjoyed chatting and boxing with Thais, the food, specially the sushis are our favorite take out food with van’s pig stand. Very simple, clean, courteous, and delicious! Def deserves five stars.

The greatest Thai food in Norman/OKC area. I’ve been almost everywhere. Yellow curry noodle soup and pad see ew are my favorites! You will have left overs… portions are huge. Friendly service, extremely clean dining area. You cannot go wrong with this place.

Best Thai food in Norman by far. Friendly staff, cheap prices. I don’t recommend anything but the Thai dishes and sometimes there is too much MSG so I leave feeling all gross and full, but the thai dishes are really great.(Avoid the sushi.)

Our favorite, favorite, favorite restaurant. We love this place and eat here at least once a week. My boyfriend is a vegetarian so they have lots of options. our favorites are the miracle vegan roll and the pra ram(we always get extra tofu). The staff is fabulous and knows us and our regular orders. They also know the menu well and can make really good suggestions. I highly recommend it anyone that asks.

My favorite Thai place in Norman. They have an extensive menu with plenty of Thai favorites, as well as sushi. The staff is attentive. Make sure to go for lunch! They have an awesome lunch special where select items are $ 7-$ 9, but includes rice, spring roll, and soup/salad. The serving is relatively large for the price(yay leftovers!). Our go-to is the Volcano Chicken, so crispy with a tasty sweet-sour sauce. The Yellow Curry and Kao Soi are also really good. Don’t forget Pad Thai… on par with other places in town.

Love this restaurant. Its clean and the atmosphere has a great vibe. Their wonton soup is so good. I got it at spice level 2. They also have great deals on sushi. Yummy stuff :-). There are a couple rude stuck up waiters, but can’t let a couple bad eggs ruin everything good about it.

My favorite Asian place in Norman! Must orders: Spider Roll, Pad Thai. I love that it is casual, but the food will blow you away! I would stay away from the Volcano Roll, but I love this place!!!

It has been 10 years since I’ve been back here! It was a fave while I was in undergrad. I was pleasantly surprised to see they’ve renovated some to have more booths! The restaurant was clean and modern. We love, love the Panang curry. The spicy noodles were excellent, but GETTHEPANANGCURRY! I could eat that stuff all week! I will definitely come back here to eat for game days.

It was a super cold and windy day in Norman and I happened to have a few hours to kill and I was hungry. Being Thai, I thought to myself what would be more satisfying than having your comfort cuisine, a plate of rice or a bowl of soup on this harsh weather day! There are a few Thai restaurants around OU but I happened to know The owner of Thai Delight since they used to run Taste of Thai in Arlington, TX back at home. So the decision was made quickly and it was a great one. The menu here is HUGE! They’ve got sushi now. I was a bit overwhelmed but choose to go with dishes I used to order in the past. It did not disappoint me. I was greeted with friendly lady then the lady I know of came by to say hi at the table– That was good, it’s like going to eat at a friend’s house :) So it’s a plus! We’ve got the Chicken Delight and Garlic stir fried Soft Shell Crab(Not sure if the latter one is on the menu but you can definitely make a request.) The portion is HUGE!!! We ate it all up though because it’s so tasty. They are pretty generous on rice, that’s a plus! Some places can be so stingy on rice. Got Salmon Sushi and Eel Sushi togo and they are packed neatly in the clear plastic box with everything you would need. The Salmon is fresh, The eel is a little small but they didn’t charge for much so nothing to complain about. I will definitely be back when in the area. Staff Friendliness Check Tasty Check Cleanliness Check Portion Check Location(RIght on the edge of OU campus) Check Decent Price Check It may not be the most authentic you will ever taste but it’s definitely delicious so What’s not to like? TIP: Try asking for less sauce on chicken delight and add the dry chilli peppers like mine. You will be pleased.

There’s nothing better than spending a beautiful fall afternoon in Norman. I was able to take some Norman meetings for work around a fun lunch with a favorite former professor. He suggested Thai Delight, and I was, well, delighted. We had the lunch special, which for me, meant chicken pad thai for $ 6.99 which included not only the sizeable entrée, but also a spring roll and soup or salad. I opted for the soup, which was a light, nice broth affair with some noodles. The lunch was delicious and affordable, the service was fast and friendly, and we could have been in and out in about 30 minutes if we had wanted to be. We were catching up and taking our time, and the atmosphere afforded that opportunity.

Thai Delight has a pretty big menu consisting of Thai, Japanese, and Chinese. I ordered spicy chicken and tofu fried rice and it was decent. It definitely wasn’t that spicy. Prices were just ok, portions could’ve been a little bigger since they charged about $ 12 for it. Our group of four arrived at 9pm and the restaurant closes at 9:30pm. We felt rushed from the begining. By 9:28pm, we had already paid and they said they were closing which basically meant they wanted us to get the heck out. Most restaurants let you stay past their closing time if you arrived before. Not this place. They kick you out on the dot. I don’t like feeling rushed and they definitely let us know they wanted us out because three different people came by and took away plates as we finished each dish. Final thoughts: the food was alright, servers were nice, and the restaurant was clean and spacious. Parking might be an issue during peak hours since it’s so close to campus and street parking was lacking.
