Best pizza in Norman. I’ve had the house salad too with the tomato vinagrette. I love that I can come in for lunch, spend $ 6, and leave extremely satisfied from a slice of pizza and a salad!

Pretty decent. Nothing bad. Nothing special. Has a lot of tvs and a bar which is cool for a pizza spot

Awesome traditional east coast pizza. Large sizes, great flavor. Usually get cheese, sausage and bacon. Get ready to fold your slice, New York style. Stromboli is fantastic too. Staff and service are great, solid local pizzeria.

Pizza is OK, a lil greasy, but better than big chain stores. There’s a bar area, but I’ve never once seen a bartender there. You have to get back in the pizza line to order a glass of wine or beer, then the underage Mexican employees aren’t allowed to type in the alcohol order. They don’t know what kind of drinks they have, need a manager password, and then 10 min later you may get your drink after the owner pours it. It’s weird.

The Stromboli’s are THEBEST I’ve ever had! The meats are clearly quality but the star is the dough and the mushrooms. I don’t know if they marinate the mushrooms in holy water or what, but they are soooo good! The dough is chewy around the corners and very thin in the middle then brushed with love aka butter. And those Stromboli’s are HUGE! I get 2 meals out of one. BONUS: THEYARECHEAP! Such a bargain for the quality and quantity. I’ve also had the cheesy bread, and I could seriously eat it every day. The cheese is in the middle of the bread. It’s not the same dough used on the Stromboli’s. It’s lighter and flaky and just delish. The ONLY issue I have is with the Orderup service. It’s ALWAYS backed up with Sandro’s. Which is a sign of good food because it’s one of the only restaurants this happens with on a regular basis. So I would highly recommend take-out.

A one time only visitor, I can really only comment on the Margherita Pizza. After a long day, which ended in delayed flights and another night in Norman, my friends decided it was as good a time as ever to order some pizza. Maybe I was tired. Maybe I was just really hungry. But honestly, this was the best pizza I’ve had in a while. And I live in New York… so that’s saying something. Thin crust was perfectly cooked. The cheese was cheesy and only slightly salty. The garlic — fresh and potent. The tomatoes were great too. Perfectly cooked without being overdone. While I’d heard negative things about some of their other food, I would definitely order pizza from this location again! Thanks for making my last night in OK delectable!

What a sad disappointment this restaurant has turned into. I used to love this place… it’s good food do not get me wrong… but their service has taken a nose dive. I’m born and raised in Norman and grew up eating at New York Pizza on campus(who is the relative-I am almost positive is the father of the owner of Sandros) and when his son branched out to make Sandros it was wonderful. They deliver and have delivered to my location MANYMANYMANY times before but apparently service isn’t important anymore. I just tried to place an order and they immediately said«um we don’t take orders over the phone. Only online.» Which is just odd… why answer the phone ever anyway? So I tried to use their«order up» service online and went through the whole ridiculous process(it’s like they don’t want people to order from them as long as it takes!) only to get to the last page to find«we can’t deliver to that address»…umm what? So I call them back and tell them the scenario and that they’ve delivered to my address plenty of times and see why all of a sudden they wouldn’t? So the grumpy young kid out me on hold to speak to either the manager or someone else and I could hear him say«oh well, if the order up says it then we don’t deliver there» I’m beyond confused why the rules change depending on the week? So I asked the young kid if they were apart of the Better Business Bureau so I could report the inconsistency, and in typical kid fashion I was told«uhh I don’t know» so I told him to tell his manager I would be contacting the BBB and he said«yeah ok». Good food only gets you so far… it’s the service that counts.

We had pizza and The New Yorker Sandwich with house dressing on it. Both tasted amazing! By far the best pizza and sandwich I’ve ever had in Oklahoma. The staff delivered a level of customer service that is rarely found anymore. #GreatFood #GreatPeople #GreatAtmosphere. Love this place!

Ordered pizza from here and found several short black HAIRS in my pizza. They had the hair follicle still on them. Clearly hair. I called to speak with a manager… Instead of him apologizing… He argued with me. He then went on to describe all the hair times of his employees and his then he asked me to bring the pizza to him so he could see for himself… Really. Who lies about having hair in your room? This was very nasty and not handled correctly. It probably was a honest mistake and a simple apology and new FRESH pizza would have been nice.

I really wanted to like this place. We ordered hot wings, a Calzone, a Stromboli, 3 garlic loaves, and penne with mushrooms and oil and garlic. Everything was fine, but I was quite disappointed when my husband returned to our hotel with our order that was missing the salad that came with the pasta, no forks or napkins, and no parmasean cheese to go with my pasta. It was quite bland. My husband and son enjoyed their food. Luckily we had extra forks and napkins from a meal we had earlier. I would have given a higher rating if the order was complete and they took the extra step to put forks and napkins for a to go order.

Great New York style pizza! Calzones are also amazing, same with the Caesar salad and fried ravioli. Typical pizza parlor feel, but nice wait staff. Haven’t tried things outside of pizza/calzones, but I’ll let you know if I do!

I love, love, love the pizza. My son and I usually order it to go, so I’ve never actually dined in the restaurant. That being said, the pizza never disappoints. I’m vegetarian, so I favor the mushroom pizza. I’ve had cheese and other veggies as well – all were well done. My son says the pepperoni is wonderful too. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I thoroughly look forward to pizza night.

The pizza is amazing, but this is definitely a sit down pizza place, as their delivery isn’t the best. We waited 2 hours for our pizza, and we live 5 minutes away. Once it got to us the pizza was cold and smushed up. 3 stars for poor delivery service.

They need to improve in the delivery department. Antipasto salad was a salt– fest. The pizza was cold and a bit soggy but had good flavor and they didn’t skimp on toppings.

I have only been here once and got a slice of pizza(was in a hurry) which was very good. I will be going back because their menu looks awesome.

Crispy crust without being chewy. The sauce is perfectly tangy and complimentary to the toppings. The sausage is peppered which is a nice touch. Slices are huge, so if you’re getting it for a group expect each person to stop at 1.5 on average. Dining in is a nice atmosphere, but they do get backed up with takeout and delivery so it can take longer then other pizza joints. However, in the interceding time you can take advantage of the awesome deal they give you in draft beer. A tall COOPF5 for what you’d maybe pay for a pint at other places? I’ll take two! We normally get these pizzas and eat a slice or two and freeze the rest. Rewarding them can be done by cranking the toaster over to 400 °F and cooking them for a minute, but alternatively(and my fave) is to slowly defrost them in a covered pan and then when the pan is good and hot FLIPTHESLICE to sear the cheese for 10−15s. This will change your worldview. You’re welcome

Had both the pizza and pasta here. While both are solid and deserving of 4 stars, I’d say the pizza is better. For pasta, I tried the Sunrise Chicken. For only $ 10.95, you get a heaping serving of pasta and 2 good sized pieces of chicken which are topped with a cream/marinara sauce with mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes. You also get a mini-loaf of some fantastic flaky bread and a side salad. The chicken is flat, so it’s easy to cut. The sauce was that perfect combination of cream and tomato, and you get plenty of veggies. I didn’t have a bite without at least one of the veggies or chicken. The salad has lots of banana peppers, which I love. This is a great value, and given its size, I’d be surprised if you leave hungry. The pizza is thin crust, NY style. My favorites have mushrooms(Sandro’s does stuff with mushrooms really well I guess). I have even tried(and loved) the spinach and mushroom. Rare for me to like a pizza that doesn’t have some sort of meat on it. The toppings are plentiful, but not so bad they slide off the end when you pick up the pizza to eat it. The crust is thin but has a slight chewiness to it, so it’s not totally crunchy like a cracker. Imminently foldable, these are legit pieces of pizza. There are several options at Sandro’s, and so far, I’ve not found a bad one.

3 stars — even though their pizza is pretty great and consistent, the rest of the menu is a let down. My husband is a regular here and we often get carry-out. On our most recent visit I ordered the chicken marsala. It was carry-out and taking it back wasn’t an option, so I don’t know if this was an honest mistake or what. Whatever this was, it was NOT marsala wine sauce. It tasted like italian dressing mixed in with one of their cream sauces. It was awful. The chicken was«breaded» and the breading seemed to be very undercooked. The mushrooms were still pretty raw as well. The dish was inedible. My husband experienced similar disappointment with the lobster ravioli. Very thick pasta and very little filling. They’re getting three stars because we have really enjoyed the pizza. If I was going by my most recent experience alone I would never go back.
