Maid OK

After we weren’t happy with another home cleaning service, 2green chicks, (I think they fulfill a viable niche for those not wanting any hard chemical cleaners used on the home) OKMaid did great! We de-​clutter just a little before they come, they don’t pick up our clutter, they don’t do our dirty dishes, they don’t have to pick up to vacuum, hence they charge us less and are in and out quickly to their next job (as it should be for us) They cost 20%-30% less for their deep clean and regular maintenance than any other service in the area (which in itself does not always mean they should be your #1 choice) but they really hustled, entire three bedroom two bathroom, office, kitchen, living room, and laundry room, two cleaners really hustled for 75 minutes! And our home was really really clean. 1550 SF home. Online quote within four hours of answering short survey regarding home. Mop/​vacuum carpet, hardwood, and tile, clean all surfaces in kitchen, dust all surfaces in entire home, bathrooms spotless, linens changed, front and back doors Windex sparkle inside and out. Both tubs and showers spotless with grout cleaned sparkling white as they use bleach. All trash taken out. OKMAID has a simple policy, if you are not satisfied, you don’t pay, for whatever reason which I think is the way I believe housekeeping services should go. Consider the outstanding service and outstanding value, OKMAID rocks! Even after the very first service, even before I’m giving them any feed back, I’m very satisfied with their service. The only negative feedback I have is that when my real hard wood floors were wet they slid a bucket across them (which can scratch the wood) instead of picking it up, this in my opinion is a very minor note that won’t happen again. The ladies were exactly on time start and finish, dressed nicely, efficient, thorough, courteous, and were respectful of my home. We will have them back every two weeks and I’ll post updates occasionally for your review. I too think you’ll be happy with their services as well. We weren’t looking for free services, we were just looking for reasonable service based on the fact that our home is not cluttered and all they do are the deep services of maintenance each time and are in and out in 75 minutes.

First time I paid for the service (deep cleaning) was very good EXCEPT for things like the fact that they did not dust cob webs; broke the belt in MY vacuum and did not inform me; did not clean the oven; did not dust top of pictures; did not clean the inside of the fridge… the deep cleaning means DEEP!
When I complained there was SUPPOSED to be a credit for the next scheduled cleaning…
the next time not only was there no discount, they did not clean ¼ of the sf of my home!
The excuse was that the door was closed. I WAS IN THE HOUSE! There is no reason that they could not have asked if it was OK to clean the 500 sf den. (500 sf of a 2000 sf home NOT cleaned… she said there would be a credit for the next cleaning)
Mind you the first credit was NOT applied… and the SECOND credit was not applied.
So I complained again.
Finally, the 3^rd chance, I asked the 2 people you sent if they were going to wipe the ceiling fans. and finish dusting the shelves in the kitchen. The reply was «Our time is up. If you want, I can have them schedule us for more time next time; but it will cost more.»

I do not recommend for make ready or move in cleaning. They did dust the chandelier, clean blinds, mop and vacuum. My best bet says that was it. I grabbed the ticket a wiped my hand across the kitchen counter top it was sitting on and my hand came up full of dust. The inside of the fridge was not cleaned out, there was black cat hair through out. The doors had all sorts of random kid splatters on the surface that just needed a wipe down. I also had a few bags that the could have easily vacuumed under, but went around. There was a note that said they didn’t have polish for Crome… Oh well. There was little bits of debris under sinks that could have been easily vacuumed. The closet shelves were not dusted… I could go on and on. Long story short if you want a very very surface look-​good from quick walk thru (which my house already was before the maids), the $ 200 make ready is for you. If you want a clean surface to put your things on, look elsewhere or do it yourself. Sad part is I was not home and left a 20% tip. Never Again.

Scheduled a move in clean over a week prior to the day I wanted it done. I was very specific that I had limited time and needed it done on the day specified. I was assured it would be no problem. On the day of the scheduled clean they were an hour late. I wanted the carpets cleaned as well and was told when I scheduled that the cleaning crew would call the carpet cleaners when they were half hour from being done and he would be right over. When the cleaners left I asked about then carpet clean. I was told he had other jobs before me. My cleaning was done around 1:30 and they told me the carpets would not be done until around 5 but they would be here as soon as possible and would call when they were heading over. At 5 I still had not heard from anyone so called to find if they were on their way. At that time I was told again they had jobs before me and it would be at least 6 and maybe later. I finally got a call at 5:40 that they would be here within 40 minutes. I would not recommend this business unless you are ok with sitting around waiting all day to see if and when they will show up. Very poor service when I set a clear expectation that I was assured would be no problem.
