Starbucks

I only gave this place two stars because their drive thru isn’t as topnotch as the others in Bloomington-​Normal. I was the only one in line and 6 minutes for one tall latte is a bit of a long wait. The two girls working inside seemed more interested in talking with the patrons inside than they were with making my drink.

Large, clean, new location. Thank goodness! Friendly staff and fast service. Lots of seating and it’s a drive through!

My wife sent me a link, if I sign up with a Starbucks card, her and I get a free drink. I did sign up on my phone, loaded a Starbucks card on my phone & nothing happened. I called my credit card company, they said everything’s fine on their end and Starbucks is trying to charge me 4 times. The guy inside the Starbucks said «sorry I can’t help you, call corporate». I called corporate. They have to review my card for some reason. She said call back in 3 days. The lady at corporate can’t send me an email for the free drink. I can’t use the pending purchase to buy a drink. I’m doing all of this inside the Starbucks so maybe the workers can help me. They didn’t help at all! The girl said, «sorry I’m uneducated about the app, I don’t use it since I work here I get free coffee.» The guy said I should have done it using his cash register. I said that’s great, then asked if he could load the card on my phone at the register. He said no. I left the store and went to dunkin donuts and got a 99cent ice coffee. For the money Starbucks charges and the lack of service, don’t go there. And through all this, they didn’t offer to give me a free drink. Avoid the expense and hassle, go to dunkin
