Been here in Normal IL for over an year and have tried this local now than two dozen times. Avoid all cost. Can get you order right from the get go. Then it looks like shit once you get it. Really we eat with our eyes not just our mouths. I am glade that there are not any of these in wisconsin. I will not be returning to any Moe’s ever! Stay away at all cost.

I always enjoy burritos from Moe’s everywhere but this place had a wonderful staff that were friendly and provided wonderful service!

My mom wanted to try this place, so we stopped here. We all got steak for our burritos/bowls and we sat down to eat after $ 33 for 3 burritos and 3 drinks. Wow, kind of expensive for what it is. All of the steak was cold and had no flavor, which is pretty upsetting when you love steak. The rice was not cooked well and was hard bitting into most of it. Overall, I wish we had gone somewhere else and spent the same amount money but had food that tasted fresh and was at least warm when you eat it.

Good food, fresh. Always done right. I only gave it 4 stars because it’s *pricey*…for a salad, drink…(chips included at no cost btw)…my bill, with tax, came out to be $ 9.88!!! But, the service is great and the food is fantastic. So it’s worth coming in for. The quality of their food is why I’m willing to pay this much. If they ever start putting fillers, dyes, or preservatives in their food tho… I’m never coming back… :)

Welcome to Moe’s! Go to Moe’s if you want a good meal and don’t want to pay too much money. It isn’t particularly special, that’s why they get 3 stars. They offer free salsa and chips with each burrito, bowl or stack(this is one reason I choose Moe’s over Chipotle). You get to pick all your toppings like chipotle, but they taste better here. The sautéed veggies are one of my favorite things. Ordering tip: get the stack with chicken and extra cheese. Seriously amazing.

We’re big fans of Moe’s and have eaten in many different locations. Usually the service and the food at Moe’s is great. Such is generally not the case at this location in regards to the service. We’ve eaten at the location in Bloomington, IL on many occasions and everything is usually spot-on. The Normal location, however, lacks in the Service department. There isn’t much of a sense of urgency in the staff, they seem to be less friendly than those at other locations, and they don’t tend to pay a lot of attention to the condition of the dining room. On a recent visit one of the trash containers was full. Not just full, but FULL… as in people we setting their trays and trash ON the container because there was no room IN the container. Two of the salsa containers on the salsa bar were empty, and the floor looked like it hasn’t seen a broom in hours. To be fair, the food tasted great and the service was efficient(if not rushed). We love the menu at Moe’s, and their Monday and Tuesday specials can’t be beat for $ 5. If they could only pay a little more attention to the front of the house I’d have gladly given them a better rating, and we’d more willing to visit more often.

Went here a few weeks ago at 11am and it was disgustingly filthy. Tried it again yesterday and I guess no one ever cleans. You could scrap gunk up with a putty knife on the floor. The end lady at the cashier is bugging you to pay when there’s 2 of us and we are only half way down the line! We used to go here a lot and it used it to be clean. Now honestly it is just absolutely disgusting. The women’s bathroom toilet had crap blown all over. It was the grossest dirtiest bathroom I’ve ever seen. I just held it!

I like Moe’s. Actually, I choose it above Qdoba and Chipotle, mostly because I love their queso and Moe Mondays and student weekends. Those deals are awesome.

I live within walking distance from Moe’s and as a college student I go there every Monday for their amazing deal. For 5 dollars it doesn’t get much better than a burrito chips and drink especially for how good it tastes. I always get queso for my chips as well which is some of the best I have ever had. My only concern is that this deal is too good to last.

Meh… Monday at moe’s is bananas. Waited forever to get a drink because the only have one fountain. It was cold by the time I sat down to eat. Could be better on another night.

Great burritos. They have $ 5 burritos on Mondays which is eel worth it! I wish they’d bring back their hot salsa. I guess there’s too many wimps out there to keep it around.

Very expensive for what you get. Not a place to take the family. For what you end up paying, you might as well go to a better restaurant. Never going back.

Only time worth going is on Mondays in my opinion. Hard to beat a $ 5 burrito, chips, and drink!

I wasn’t impressed. Looking at the bins in the service line, the food seemed fresh and of good quality. They have a nice modern dining room, service was quick, and the people were very helpful and friendly… but I really didn’t enjoy the taste of my order(the«Homewrecker»), and I LOVE Mexican food. I really wanted to like this place, but it wasn’t tasty(didn’t even want to eat my leftovers) and though the portion size was large, it seemed expensive for what you got. I won’t go back.

As a frequent customer of moes on isu campus I was very excited when I heard another one was opening on the east side of town. I was very disappointed tho the first time I went. They make their burritos significantly smaller than the one in normal. Also they gave me barely any chips. Will NEVERGOTOTHISLOCATIONAGAIN!

My first time at Moe’s today. Pretty decent. Like Chipotle or Qdoba’s hipper, cooler cousin… or maybe a wannabe hipper, cooler cousin. They belt out, «WELCOMETOMOE’s» periodically when people walk in the door. The guys behind the counter that were making the burrito’s were somewhat peculiar with responses, but didn’t know if that was part of their niche. They have this state of the art interactive touch screen soda machine. Pretty gimicky and gets annoying after a while(to wait in a line as people fidget and look and pick their drinks). The guy behind me asked me if I knew where their soda machines were… and I pointed to the front of the line of where we were standing. The germaphobe in me was hesitant to touch the screen with all the slimy fingerprints, but the nerd in me was like, cool, just do it! At the end of our meal, I had tried 3 or 4 different drink combinations. So that was fun. But the food was just okay. Atmosphere is pretty nice… bolder, cleaner atmosphere than Chipotle or Qdoba… but since I live closer to the latter, don’t foresee many visits to Moe’s, unless we’re in the area and out of eating options.

The ingredients are always fresh and the food never disappoints, but I still have to give it a 3 for high prices. It’s got the same type of cuisine as Chipotle and Q’doba, though more options than the former and better food and atmosphere than the later. There are different names for the usual, but I go with the chicken tacos. I’ve also tried the steak quesadilla(decent), but I’m stubborn once I’ve found a favorite at places around town. Make sure you get a cup of queso for the tortilla chips, it’s delicious. Tips: Sometimes on campus they give out coupon books that usually include one or two for Moe’s. It’s worth using them.

Pretty much the exact same as Qdoba and Chipotle, but they give you unlimited free chips and salsa. They also have whole grain tortillas and tofu(which my wife likes). The best thing about Moe’s is the green Tomatillo Salsa. It is made fresh in the store, and it is delicious. I’m not big on chains, but this one is an exception.

Good burritos. The concept is pretty much the same as Qdoba and Chipotle. Except that Moe’s includes a side of crispy chips with their entrees. They also have a sauce bar with different salsas that you can try. It seems that the past couple times I’ve been there, the food has not been as hot as I’d like — temperature-wise. Moe’s has frozen margaritas that are good and pretty strong, surprisingly. We were there on a Thurs. night and they had ½ price margarita pitchers for like $ 6(our good deal of the day!) and we were sufficiently toasty after finishing it! All in all, when I crave Mex, my go tos are still Herradura or Taqueria El Porton.
