Logan’s Roadhouse

Food is on par with what I’m familiar with, however On a 50% capacity night service was terribly slow. There are six Logan’s people standing around the hostess station as I write this yet it took 20 mins to get a pint.

We had a good time. Staff was nice. Pricing fits the type of restaurant it is. I would come back.

Had a SPECTACULAR lunch at Logan’s the previous weekend.
Was SO thrilled to find such awesome healthy options on the back on my menu and ended up ordering a 6oz fillet (fork tender, and temp perfect!), that came with a side of veg (brocolli that looked wonderful, despite my not eating it), and a side salad or soup.
I ordered the salad, and it came with everything I asked for (nothing I didn’t), along with dressing on the side (just as instructed).
As far as the meal was concerned, they couldn’t have done it better. For our party of four, EVERYONE left happy!.

I started my experience at this location by walking through the door to see the floor manager doing the table layout while another server was on her phone at the host stand. I was however seated and greeted upon walking through the door by the server. The manager however ignored my existence and never even looked up to smile as if he didn’t care if anyone was in his restaurant at all. After being seated and greeter by our waitress all was well. We told her we were going to wait ten minutes so we could get the happy hour appetizer specials. She said okay and never returned to our table the entire rest of the experience. After another waitress came by and dropped off our appetizers and a refill they never asked or took the rest of our order. Instead they simply waited five minutes and dropped our check off without even mentioning to go boxes. I felt like we were neglected, undervalued, and we will not be returning to this establishment again. I do not recommend you go here. We were the only people in the restaurant at 2 on a Monday. How do you get one order wrong?!?

No warm welcome from the employees. The service wasn’t good at all. I will tell people not to go to Logans. I had a bad experience there.

I had a hard time deciding on the number of stars here. First, let me start by saying my food was really great. We started off with the sampler appetizer with fried pickles, mozzarella sticks, and loaded potatoes followed by me ordering the brew and burger combo (a burger with fries + 22oz beer for $ 9.99, I believe it was Mon-​Wed only). The fried cheese and bacon burger was a perfectly cooked medium-​well and all of the fixings made it a good, solid burger. Lastly, pretty sure I couldn’t eat at Logans without saying the dinner rolls are pretty bomb :)
Now, I will carry on with things that did not keep me quite as happy. We waited at least 5 minutes when we arrived even though the restaurant was half empty and the tables were open. Our server was inattentive, slow, and just flat out didn’t provide very good service. If a beer ran out it was «would you like another?» while free things (but nice to have, like water and rolls) were neglected. I also understand menus change, but my favorite meal from a year or so was removed from the menu and it seems like there are less meals offering sides now.
All in all, I left with a satisfied tummy but a worse opinion of Logans from times I had dined there in the past.

Slow service. Our waitress took forever to get the food out and then it was «hot» and drinks. we got one in 40 mins and didn’t recieve another till we were getting ready to leave. Food was good but a bit pricey for the amount you get with the crapy service…

I normally don’t give five stars but the waitress went above and beyond here.
She assisted me in selecting the lobster and filet (instead of the sirloin) with asparagus as the side.
The asparagus was to die for. Then the lobster tail topped it. Finally the filet melted in my mouth. WOW!
On top of the great food, she kept my diet soda full. This isn’t always an easy task.
I will be coming back next time I am in town!

Been sitting 15 min for drink then ordered immediately. Now another 20 and no food nobody in bar area or surrounding. Very poor service. Disappointed

Me and my boyfriend went here for a birthday dinner. We’ve been here multiple times but it just seems to be getting worse. The service was pretty terrible, it took forever to get our food, on multiple occasions we were asking waiters passing by for refills on our drinks due to the absence of our waitress. It took forever to get our bill and when we did, she forget to apply the coupon that we had given her. She then Disappeared once again and we had to bring the check to the front counter after we waited 20 minutes to see if she would pass by our table again to help us fix the check. The man who helped us was very nice about it but by that time in the night we had grown very impatient and were fed up with the poor customer service.

Logan’s can be good but it can also be very awful. They really need to work on their consistency. That is not acceptable for a place a pricey as Logan’s is. The staff has always been good, I just wish the food was.

Walked in and decided to order to go as opposed to calling ahead. That’s was a little bit of a mistake. I’m writing this review to prevent me from falling asleep at the bar. In fact, the guy next to me said «they must be flying in your shrimp from the bayou». We had a good laugh about that. I faked laughed. He received his meal as I was ordering. He’s done, and on his third after dinner drink. What could be taking this long? Not sure, bc steak was ordered medium.
Never been here, but if you want something to go for dinner, order in the morning.

We haven’t got our food yet and already experienced a LOT of attitude. And not pleasant attitude either. It is 3:15 on a Sunday afternoon and obliviously they have had a rough day. From the «hostess» that does not know the meaning if the word to the «waitress» that doesn’t have time to «wait» the experience, so far has been less than stellar. Hope the kitchen staff has had a better day or has not been hacked-​off like the front-​end help. The food was good and they only got 1 of 6 orders incorrect. The waitress ended up being efficient in keeping our drink orders filled but not personable. Giving 3 stars because of the food.

I hate to give this place a bad review. This is my third visit. The first two times my experience was great. This last visit fell below their standard. I got the Saturday Special Prime Rib. It came to the table cold. Instead of preparing me another they just popped on the grill real quick and gave it back to me over cooked. Not the way I would have handled it. I may not go back.

Service is good food is average at best and a bit over priced might as well just went to a chain. Evaluation is live waiting our check [group of five) as I type this. My kids did like the bite sized desserts

The food was good and the server was great but we were seated next to the server’s wait station which was filthy. The trash was overflowing and every now and then we were treated to the smell of rancid garbage. Unfortunately this then made me wonder what the kitchen looked like if they were willing to allow a public area to be kept in that state.

This Logan’s Roadhouse is amazing, the food is absolutely orgasmic! There salads taste like they where tossed together with the absolute finest vegetables from Gods garden, my steak tasted perfect, I could’ve sworn I was eating life and truth with each bite I took. I would rather sit and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere there than spend time with my two kids. I go to Logan’s on a regular basis and it has single handily, with their staff and food, taken me from a abusive alcoholic to a semi caring father and husband. Life’s to short for the Texas Roadhouses and Outbacks, go to Logan’s.

So yeah, Logan’s is a chain. Isn’t 90% of what’s available for food in Bloomington-​Normal a chain?
Yeah, it gets busy. But we were seated within the time frame in which we were given, and we were able to grab a beer at the bar while we were waiting.
Service was prompt and attentive. I could’ve made a meal out of the hot-​from-​the-​oven rolls and sweet butter… moving on before I start salivating…
Yeah, I get it, this isn’t Gibson’s or Chicago Prime or any other high end steakhouse. It’s a big fat chain with a big fat footprint. But you know what? The steak here was better than the steak at Chili’s, or Applebee’s. Why? Because they’re a roadhouse, that’s what they specialize in.
The steaks were cooked to the temp’s we requested, and the side dishes (there were many to choose from and each dinner gets 2) were large. The grilled mushrooms were especially good, whole mushroom caps on a skewer, not overcooked and mushy.
Was it a little pricey for dinner for 2 in a college town? Yeah… Would I RUN back to Logan’s? No…
But for a Friday night dinner before hitting up Uptown Normal, it worked.

Meh! Food isn’t that good here, except for the buttered rolls. Prices are high for what you get.
One would be much better off going to Outback about a half mile down Veterans Parkway.

SUPER busy at 6:15 on a Friday. Tried to make a reservation earlier in the week and was told they only take reservations the day ahead. So called on Thursday and then was told they only accept reservations a few hours ahead. So called on Friday afternoon and FINALLY — mission accomplished.
For our party of 6, 1 order didn’t come out with everyone elses and it was 15 minutes before my order arrived — with everyone else mostly finished with their entrees.
Three of my party didn’t get their side dishes and I didn’t get the blue cheese sauce with mine that was listed on the menu.
Nice staff and they rectified the missing entrée very well. We didn’t even mention to them about the missing sides for 3 of us.
All in all, the place is a bit of a disorganized zoo. The prices for the steaks are pretty high I think for the quality you get. I would not be surpised if all their meat was only select grade.
