Not bad, not great. Cool lighting in the place, but it’s really just a normal FroYo place. I think it’s family owned. My daughter and I have been here a few times. Right on the light rail so it’s pretty convenient.

Hey it’s fro-yo. They’ve got toppings. They’ve got sauces. You pay by weight. 12 fro-yo machines, when we went in two were not in service. Cookies and Cream flavor didn’t taste like anything. Cake Batter was pretty good. I was hoping for Cheesecake flavor — most fro-yo places have it — but they didn’t have it here when I went. Meh.

I agree with Marilisa and Rory. Husband and I wanted froyo so we checked this place out. Huge disappointment. Huge! The chocolate tasted so awkward, like it was heavily saturated with msg, which makes no sense. I couldn’t get the taste off my tongue. The mango flavor was okay and so was the vanilla flavored yogurt, but still not right. No kidding, we threw both of our yogurts away outside. What a waste. This company doesn’t let you sample either, so if there’s a bad batch you really wouldn’t know until you pay. …on the hunt for froyo in Norfolk…

I had the same experience as Marilisa — I was pretty disappointed. There was no boba, no prepared desserts, no nothing. Literally, I walked in and no one was there — no one behind the counter, no one to greet me or tell me to help myself, so I did. 4 of the 12(I think) flavors were unavailable for ‘cleaning’, so I opted for the cake batter flavor. I added nuts, strawberries, hot fudge, and waffle cone bits. The waffle cone bits were so stale that they had no crunch to them. Gross, and the nuts also seemed like they had been sitting out a while. The hot fudge was runny, kind of the antithesis of the hot fudge concept. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but I’m not sure I’ll try again.

Has the potential to be a cute dessert hotspot but they aren’t using the space as best as they can. I love the pics of the desserts here but didn’t see anything like that. Just frozen yogurt. That said. Service was good. We are next door and they also own this spot and gave us $ 1 coupons so we thought we would try it out. I had cake batter froyo with all the toppings. It was super yummy. The young lady behind the counter was courteous, hard working and very friendly. Good luck at VCU this year! I love the décor. It’s very close to the Tide and to the parking garage so it’s super easy to visit. I just wish they had more options and utilized the space to it’s full potential.

Let’s just say that the pictures here on Unilocal was what made me come here. Bad idea. Unilocal pictures showed cupcakes, boba, and other pastries. When I walked in, the display case was empty and all they had was frozen yogurt. I was expecting so much more from the pictures. They didn’t even have hot fudge syrup or any chocolate syrup for my froyo!

I came here on the hunt for boba, but they were currently out. Jeff was not one to be too upset and ran to the frozen yogurt station. Seeing my indecisiveness, the server offered to make me her special ‘Kelly’s concoction’. While this was going on I noticed the prepared desserts at the end of the counter were on sale as BOGO. Pair this with a coupon plus military discount and I had a steal. This 4 star review has everything to do with the very sweet service that we received. Kelly was patient with my questions, inventive, kind… I really can’t say enough for how cool she was. A good option if you’re already in the downtown area.
