Wonderful. Just wonderful. This is an amazing quality tea shop and I’m seriously impressed.

So I only been passing and stopping by this store for a few years now not realizing the name. This store always has samples of tea outside the store and on the inside. And like a faithful bystander/taste tester I usually try them all. But let me tell you how I realized oh… that’s Teavana. So I went into Starbucks because my mom and daughter live for it. But I’m no big coffee or frappuccino drinker but one day I was feeling Starbucks. So I thought hmmmm let me see what types of herbal teas they sell. So the young lady names about three or four teas and then tells me her favorite. Hmmmmm… they all sounded tasty, but I chose peach tranquility. My oh my… I loved it!!! I told my mom about it and she asked what brand is it. Ummmm Starbucks duh. But the duh was on me. I looked at the tea tag and noticed the tea looked like little rocks… and the tag read Teavana. I said it out loud… Teavana! My mom was like oh that’s the store inside Mac Arthur Mall. I said huh? ?? You been there, you sample everything there… you know — she said! So she goes on trying to convince me I’ve been to the store over and over… OHMYGOODNESS! !!! WHAAAAAAT… OMG. Yall clearly I never paid attention to the name of the spot I been mooching off the samples like every weekend. Ohhhhh Teavana… I love you!!! So I came here on Valentine’s day to pick out something I wanted as a gift from my lovely mother. Neema(male employee) — I’m sure I’m spelling his name wrong, but he was most helpful. I’d like to say I’ve been here before, but last Sunday was my first time really going into the store and paying attention. Neema explained the process of brewing, pouring and serving it. Let me tell you from someone that’s used to teabags(pause) and you know the old fashioned tea kettle and such, I felt like a kid in a candy store once I inquired more about Teavana. I know I asked him like 20 questions, but you know what he answered them all. So yeah we arrived about 1pm on Sunday and the store was fairly empty. But like 30 mins later it was flooded(a lot of people). It was like my enthusiasm about the teas lured more shoppers. The store has a boutique feel so people coming in with bags, strollers etc. I need yall to be careful. It’s easy to bump into displays unknowingly. But the store smells divine and the aura just makes you want to buy everything! ! Nevertheless, my mom brought me the Teavana Starter Kit. The Kit included: a Black Teavana 16 oz Perfecta Maker, 1lb. Perfect Rock Sugar(or a teaspoon) and a red Teavana tea tin(also in gold and grey). I’m super excited to seep my own peach tranquility Teavana tea. But if you like tea or want to experience something new plllllease come here! This has become my new obsession. This is definitely a store to keep on your wish list. When someone can’t decide what to get me… Teavana works for me!!! I recommend this business 1000%!! Oh the tea is purchased in ounces. Try some of the tea blends too. The winterberry is sooooo yum, but it’s two teas blended together. I can’t recall, but I believe 2 oz of tea makes 158oz cups. Just ask, the employees are most helpful! Enjoy!!! Have fun!!!

Love the tea samples. Love the customer service. Love the store layout. Hate the prices! Overall good value, but it’s a pretty penny!

Awesome place to get all kinds of great tasting tea. What makes this location really amazing is the courteous and knowledgable staff they have. It’s kinda of in a hard to find corner but we will definitely be back.

I give this a full five star rating for: 1) Delicious tea 2) Great Customer Service And lastly… 3) A great selection of their tea samples perfectly brewed to perfection. As for the price: I’ve said it in my tip, don’t go if you’re afraid to shell out any money for quality loose leaf tea. Regardless if you buy its tumblers mugs or the like, give their teas a try next time you stroll by in Mac Arthur Center Mall :)

Best iced tea ever! I finally stopped by for a tea sample and ended up tasting five different teas, both hot and cold. All the teas were delicious and not like anything I’ve ever tasted before… love, love, love the fruity flavors. They use a rock sugar that is light and not overly sweet. The sales clerk was super helpful and not pushy at all. This is a great place to shop for gifts: beautiful tea pots, mugs, tumblers, tins, etc.

I’m torn on Teavana. Good tasting teas and wonderful samples lure you in but overall it’s an expensive tea shop that only those dedicated to the unique tastes they carry will feel comfortable spending the amount of money it costs for tea from here. Although, I’m one of those patrons willing to drop the dime I still give this place a 2.5 rating because of the prices but in Teavana’s case I’ll round up to 3 because, despite of all the foot traffic the staff keeps it clean, everyone that works there has been polite and they allow for multiple sampling of the same teas making Teavana A-OK –or– 3 Stars in my book.

You’ve been to one and you been to all of them. As stated in other reviews this place is truly OVERPRICED. Almost all of the tea pots and filter balls can be found at a Bed Bath and Beyond and other local stores for less than half of what you pay for in the store. I’ve also found some cool tea strainers/containers for sale at Dicks. And with all the free sample they offer by the time you reach the back of the store and they attempt to ask you if you want to purchase any tea, your already FULL from the free samples. LoL *Overall the Teas do taste good, but don’t get suckered into buying anything else while your there, even the German Rock sugar which I know sells cheaper.

I discovered Teavana years ago on vacation and I was just tickled to see it appear magically in our very own MacArthur Mall. Typically, I lose myself in there smelling and sampling all the loose teas. Being in here and letting them waft the tea at your nose makes for fun times choosing all the tea you’re going to bring home. And grab your favorite tea hot or iced to venture around the mall. Today, I went in with even more of a purpose… today was not about just finding tea. I was on a mission to find the perfect tea set for my cousin’s bridal shower. Jake and I had a good olé time picking through all the tea cups and saucers… mixing and matching. I toiled between this beautiful exotic green cast iron pot and something more traditional. In the end, he sold me on this distinctly exquisite and dainty bridal set of bone china teapot, cups, and saucers. My cousin, who is such a tea party girl, even got a little choked up when she unwrapped it. Thanks Jake for all your patience… I am sure it took me an hour to make a final decision since I just loved everything.

A thousand times NO. This store is overpriced given the very low standards to which they hold their teas. Recently I found a bird’s feather in the batch of Superfruit Green Tea that I purchased from this location(I’ve posted a photo here). After this happened, I did some research and found that it’s pretty common for Teavana customers to find bird feathers and other foreign objects(cement, twigs, etc.) in their loose teas. The price point of Teavana’s teas is far too high for this to occur with the regularity that it does. Unless you like bird feather, cement, and twig-blend teas and want to pay an arm and a leg for them, I’d recommend you stay far away from this place.
