I don’t usually go to Starbucks, i prefer local non chain empires. My coffee was fine as usual, I had the sausage egg & cheese breakfast thing.

I ordered a Medium Decaf Coffee. The woman said she had to make some so she ground beans and poured hot water over the ground beans. I took one taste ugh! Bitter Bitter. The clerk told me thats the way they make coffee there, by pour over. It was awful. I buy Starbucks for home brewing which it not bitter. I was offered something else but I wanted coffee. I poured 1⁄3 in trash and added some cream and sweetener. It was still bitter so I dumped the whole thing in trash.

Second trip to this location while dropping off a family member as I was thankful that rude Stacy was off the register, replaced with friendly gal. Stacy still glaring at all customers. Didn’t receive treat receipt or ice cube sticker, two fouls one trip.

Here we are again. Great olé Starbucks. Just passing through the terminal needing that small sip of caffeine energy. My fiancé purchased coffee frappuccino w/coconut milk. I got two sandwiches: turkey w/cheddar cheese and ham w/Swiss and a slice of banana nut bread on the side. My brother got the southwest chipotle sandwich. Prices are just like any other Starbucks so no grunt there. Their seating is the usual tables and chairs along with a couch for some relaxation. The barista Alicia served us today. She was sweet and pleasant and offered extra add ons as necessary(warm ups, condiments, forkware). Thanks again Starbucks!

There are two Starbucks locations, one just before and one just past the TSA checkpoint. The one inside serves breakfast sandwiches, the one outside does not. Simple choice, enjoy your coffee and sandwich past the TSA checkpoint!

Although Starbucks has great coffee I refused to buy coffee here due to the immature attitude of the three young employees i just experienced. Normally I have no issues here, except for today. Asking about the price of items not marked with one of the employees hunched over the cash register repeating«huh?» when I asked her a question along with the guy next to her laughing and the other girl raising her arms… These young people really need some supervision. I cancelled my order and refused to buy the materials I planned to purchase. 3 stars is for the coffee only not today’s employees.

Nice Starbucks, but the loud, obnoxious baristas behind the counter ruined a relaxing coffee stop. Avoid if possible.

(This is a review of the location outside security) Eh, this location was just alright for me. They definitely served their purpose for me, being a comfortable quiet place to wait after being dropped at the airport very early before my flight. I appreciated the single-seater couches by the window especially! The baristas were not the energetic type I’ve come to expect. They did not have the typical Wifi I was expecting(probably due to the airport restricting it). They also apparently do not do refills like any normal starbucks. [Sidebar: I recently realized that if you are a ‘green member’ of starbucks you can get free refills of basic drinks while in the store! – just not this one evidently]. Overall: I think 3 stars is appropriate for what it is: just a place to buy starbucks coffee and get away from the hustle and bustle of the airport. Unfortunately they lack the conveniences I’ve come to expect at Starbucks(Wifi, refills, happy employees).

4 Stars after staff recommended another shop that had a breakfast item I was craving. Caring more about the customer than the sale made me stay, order a scone and stay put. Great job airport Starbucks.

Recently revamped, this is a great little Starbucks in the A terminal(next to gate A6). The staff are always friendly to me and serve my order up quickly. I also have never had a drink made wrong or taste bad from this location! They have fresh pastries and sandwiches and even my favorite, packages Madeleine cookies. There are a few tables inside, but the interior is small as with most airport«to go» Starbucks. I’ve continuously had excellent experiences here and will continue to frequent it as long as they’re here. I recommend this one… believe me, there are some Starbucks to stay far away from.

Just your typical Starbucks, but was really bummed that they didn’t have Starbucks mugs that say«Norfolk»… just the big cities… that sux! Good service otherwise though!

If there’s a Starbucks that I never want to buy from again, it would be this little Starbucks shop in the Norfolk Airport. I understand prices for all restaurants and fast food joints in airports are higher than non-airport establishments, but $ 4.75 for a TALL chai tea latte is a little too much. That’s about the price of a venti anywhere else. I stuck with my usual tall iced coffee. Here it is $ 2.75 pre tax. All I got was 60% cream, 30% sugar, and 10% coffee. If you are able to, get your Starbucks fix before you head to the airport and save yourself a dollar or so.

A coffee stop in the Norfolk airport, I popped in for a quick double espresso. Sadly, the scanner couldn’t read the bar code on my Starbucks app. Coffee took longer than it should have and I had to ask for a lid.

Travel out of ORF weekly and this Starbucks never fails to have the most unfriendliness staff.

Busy little place, under construction and still remains open. Friendly staff took care of order quickly. Ran out of paper and needed a receipt. Manager printed off and handed to me with coffee. Goods in case were full. Place was clean, so feeling pretty good about a four star here.

This review is for the Starbucks that is past security in the B concourse. The pictures included for this location are actually from the one in the main terminal(but the location listed here is for the one near the B16 gate, across from the AA gate). Now that the logistics are all out of the way… If you are flying Delta, American, or ContinentalUnitedItDoesn’tMatterWhatYouCallUsBecauseWeStillSuck, then you have an option for Starbucks goodness after you’ve been legally molested by TSA(I’m joking for all of you CIA types that are creeping my posts on Unilocal. Please don’t Snowden me, bro!). After you sit down and put your shoes back on, walk about 15 steps and there on your right is Starbucks. Yay! There will probably be a line, but don’t worry about that, the staff here is pretty good at pushing people through in a non-cattle herding sort of way. In keeping with Elite/Diamond/Platinum type mentality, though, it sure would be nice if this Starbucks offered a Priority lane for those of us with Starbucks Gold Cards(wow, I’ve reach a new level of Pretention…). Gold means that I’ve actually been to a Starbucks before and am familiar with the menu and don’t need to stare at the board trying to read all of the cute drink descriptions. In fact, they should put in an Elite Line for Venti Sumatra orders(something that they always have ready for those early morning flights, by the way). The other dynamic is the American Airlines departure gate right across the hall. When American can get there ‘stuff’ together long enough to launch an actual airplane from ORF(which is thankfully rare), the passengers get up from their seats and clog the entire passageway in some sort of bizarre tribal Ritual Folks, it is really quite easy. That thing on your boarding pass that says Zone indicates when you are able to grab your 15 carry on bags and waddle down the aisle. Queueing up prior to this number being called will only make your shoulders sag more and your posterior look even bigger. After I get my Venti Sumatra, I like to fly through this Human Mass of Depression with the lid off the cup, wildly spewing hot caffeine at the locals who by this time are immune to any sort of physical pain. But don’t take it from me, try it yourself, it’s fun! There is also breakfast at this Starbucks. Oatmeal for the health conscious, chocolate cookies for the rest of us. The people that work here are really friendly and efficient. It isn’t 100% the same as the neighborhood Starbucks where you can spend a few hours catching up with the Barista while you contemplate what syrup to put in the latte(is anybody else as devastated at the demise of Cinnamon? Not that Cinnamon Dolce crap that they try to pass off as the real thing), but that is ok. The line behind you is growing and the Zombies in the AA line are starting to look a bit thirsty…

ORF has a decent main terminal prior to getting through security. That said, if there are ever any more than five people in front of you for security you are in some amazing rush hour. «The Good» — The staff is polite and know how to make a decent Chai Tea. — Every once in a while they have the small vanilla scones… those are some good days. — Depending on which one you go to it will either be before or after security, use your patience and wait to order from the right one. «The Meh» — Located in the central Hub, before security. So, you either enjoy it on the ride home or chug before going through the line. «The Bad» — Nothing really bad to comment on either.

In our caffeine addicted society, Starbucks has found a unique and special place in our hearts. I must admit, as a frequent business traveler, I often find myself scoping out the nearest Starbucks to help wake me up in the AM, or to get me through when I start getting fatigued in the afternoon or early evening. In today’s case I’d just had lunch, had a few hours to wait for my flight and planned to get some work done during that time. I wanted a bit of caffeine and also wanted something rich to top of the meal I’d just had. The Cinnamon Dolce Latte here fit the bill perfectly! Thanks Starbucks for always somehow being there whenever I’m looking for one of your stores or kiosks.
