McDonald’s

Not sure if I’ve always gone at a bad time of day or what but every time I go through the drive through it takes a super long time for them to take my order. They have two lanes and it’s as if they only take an order one lane at a time… I actually have written this whole review sitting and waiting to give my order… If go in and order but I think the dining room is closed… Should have just gone across the street to Wendy’s, oh well…

Absolute worst. They may be nice but when I went to order an ice tea with lemon I was asked twice when I got to the first window what my order was and once I got up to the last window they asked me again my order and then went to hand me a happy meal. I told her no and said that I only ordered an ice tea. Took way too long and I shouldn’t have been asked three times what my order was after I already placed it.

The service is consistently pleasant, I enjoy my daily dose of sweet tea it’s so addicting sweet. The food is fast either you like Mc D’s food or don’t.

I’ve had good experiences here but today was the WORST! I explained my order 3 times at the window and when I went to the pick up order I saw the sauce on the sandwich that I requested on the side. The manager looked and rolled her eyes so i decided to keep it with the sauce. But when I arrived home the chicken sandwich I ordered was a burger! When I talked to the manager she made excuses and gave me the run around I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!

Unlike the first reviewer Mark M. I’ve had the opposite experience here on several occasions including last night around 10pm.
I was using the drive through and service was terrible with the employees being borderline rude. When I arrived there was one car in front of me. When I left there were at least 6 behind me. I sat in line almost 20 minutes for a cheeseburger and fries. That’s unacceptable for fast food.
The food was fine once I received it, but the wait and the lackadaisical attitudes of the staff were ridiculous. This has been typical of this locations night time drive through on more than one occasion.

I had such a great experience at this McDonalds this morning I just had to make a comment. It was nothing special really, just a good experience. That’s what makes it unusual for a McDonalds in this area. I’ve been avoiding McDonalds lately because of the lousy service. Not just one McDonalds in particular, all of them! This morning I really wanted a Sausage McMuffin. I pass this McDonalds on the way to work every morning. I’ve never stopped there before but decided to give it a try. When I pulled into the parking lot and saw 3 cars ahead of me I almost left. I decided to wait it out for some reason. I’m glad I did. There was no wait from the time I ordered to the time I picked up my food. The person that took my order was pleasant, greeted me and seemed to care. My order was accurate, the food was good and the person that delivered it was pleasant and actually said come back and see us. You know what? I will. The other McDonalds in Hamptons Roads should be taking lessons from this store.
