Billy’s Pizza

I ordered pizza and wings from Billy’s at 854 it is now 1040 and I still haven’t received my order. I called 3 times and no one answered. I want the food i paid for. Since my kids are sleeping my butt will be at Billy’s when they first open requesting not only my money back but some free freaking food.

Their pizza is ok at best, then again, I’m not much of a pizza eater. Not too crazy about their «blooming» onion, because it’s actually just onion petals and dipping sauce, which don’t taste like the originals. Their gyros are pretty good, but just a little too small. Their wings are pretty good as well. The food was a little better a few years back, under the old management, but will suffice.

The pizza is decent, but not always consistent. The first time going here we got a large Hawaiian pizza and it was delicious. The second time it was kind of bland and really lacking any toppings. It’s really hit or miss I guess.

It’s not *BAD* pizza but it’s kinda bland and not really anything special. I’ll probably keep coming back cause it’s so cheap though.

The pizza had a dull taste. It was like they had no seasoning to the food. I ordered an all meat pizza and the meat didn’t even taste that well. I also ordered cheese ravioli and chicken parm. The sauce was not good. It didn’t have that Italian taste. Plus the pasta dishes were watered down. The only good thing was the garlic bread. It also took them an hour to make my meal. I ordered online it said it would be ready by 730pm mean while I ordered it at 645. My meal was not ready till 820p. Food is just horrible. They need to use fresh products when cooking and baking. Shortcuts will make you lose your business.

Terrible terrible service. First, I called and got put on hold… for 15 minutes. When i hung up and called back they answered and we’re ready to take my order. After my order was taken it took one hour for delivery. Then I got a call, they took my order wrong! Will not be calling back again.

Their breaded mushrooms are on point. They always give a 10% military discount if you have your ID. The only bad thing is that the place could use a little love as far as appearances go.

Ugh, we didn’t finish our food and we threw the leftovers in the trash.
–The pizza was okay, but the toppings were skimpy and the sauce bland. My teenage son, who can eat a whole pie by himself and isn’t choosy about ‘za, ate three pieces and said not to bother wrapping up the rest.
–My gyro had two slices of meat, a pinch of lettuce, a few onion slivers, and three pieces of pink-​ish tomato. The potato wedges were awful, grainy-​textured, with orange-​colored «seasoning» on the outside. (My gyro looked like the sad and sorry second cousin of the photo that Felix A. posted)
–My friend ordered the fish and chips… she received two small 1/​8″ broken up filets that smelled bad, and a big pile of soggy crinkle-​cut fries. The fish stank so much that I had to take the trash bag out of the house.

One of the better pizza places around here. Good pizza, good prices. I always order pizza when I’m near the Norfolk base from here, wish I lived closer or Billy’s was closer to me!

This place isn’t half bad at all. We got pizza here when we first moved here about 3 weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised. I got pizza here again tonight and unlike other pizza places, they were not skimpy on the toppings and the pizza has good flavor. The place isn’t much to look at but I’m not eating their place, I’m eating the food. Will go back again for sure!

I have to be honest, I have not been to the actual restaurant. I always get delivery. They make it so easy and so simple to order over the phone and delivery is quick, why leave your home. Thus far upon my favorite is the white pizza, breaded mushrooms and gyro. Have yet to disappoint me, I recommend everyone to try them out. I will pick Billy’s pizza over Dominos, Pizza Hut and papa johns any day of the week.

Great place!!! Food is great the Gyro’s are some of the best in the area. Always order delivery and gets here fast, driver is courteous.

I was driving around looking for a late lunch and I found Billy’s. Great service and really good pizza at an exceptional price. I will be back when I am in town again.

I’ve ordered pizza here twice now, and it does not disappoint. I’ve never had a problem ordering and the pricing is good. This pizza is amazing, especially if you’re looking for a local pizza shop. I’ll be going here for my pizza and Italian dishes for now on.

I had a terrible experience here. I called them to order delivery as it was an option available at the hotel. I made my order, paid via card, and was informed of a 30 — 45 minute wait time. Precisely 37 minutes later my phone rang to inform me they did not have what I had ordered. I asked the gentleman what other options were available and he told me he did not have time, they were in a big rush he would be canceling my payment and then he hung up. Obviously not a company I will ever be doing business with again.

The people look a little dirty, and the pizza is flavorless, but the nachos and burgers are great.
The inside of this «pizza» places makes you question your need for food upon entering.
they have a lot of different foods to chose from, and when you don’t have a car you take what you can get.
I once tried to call in an order and they told me they were only taking delivery’s…
The prices are cheap, and coupons are plenty.
But if you can drive to a place nearby, or far away, that doesn’t look like it is the picturesque spot for the beginning to a Texas chainsaw movie. I suggest you do so. ever time I went in, I wasn’t sure i would be coming out.

Really enjoyed the pizza we picked up from Billy’s. The crust is SUPER doughy and chewy so if you like a crispier crust, this might not be the place for you. But I enjoy that, along with their sweet sauce.
The ingredients tasted fresh, the girl who answered the phone was very friendly, and at under $ 8 for a large cheese pizza you can’t beat it. And it was ready in 20 min as promised. I will be back!

I used to be a big fan of this place, but apparently they are under new management. I tried ordering their «Large 5-​topping for $ 10.99» special last night (3÷15÷14), and asked for 5 veggie toppings on one half and five meat/​veg combo toppings on the other half. The ticket came to about $ 18. I asked why the price was so high and was told that «the kitchen manager says that 5 toppings on each half is 10 toppings.»
You heard right. A half-​pizza topping is now equal to a whole-​pizza topping, I told her it had never been that way before and she said they are under new management and that is what the kitchen manager told her. I asked to speak to the manager because I wanted to hear this nonsense directly from him/​her. I was put on hold for a couple minutes and when she came back, she said the manager «was too busy to talk to any customers at the moment.»
I told her to tell the manager that (1) he had just lost a long-​term regular customer, (2) they are the only pizza place in town that charges for toppings in this manner, and (3) I’d be posting this story online to warn as many people as I could to avoid the «new» Billy’s Pizza.

Was searching the interweb for pizza delivery to the naval base and came across Billy’s. Figured I’d give them a shot and I wasn’t disappointed! Excellent proportions of sauce and toppings!
Sauce was flavorful but not very tangy (which I appreciate more as I get older!) veggies were crisp and fresh. Crust was perfect thickness and bake. Definitely recommend Billy’s Pizza!
