Love this place for their pizza. I always see other people’s plates, but always order pizza. It broke my heart to find they no longer have the Burrata pizza. Oh well.

Attended with 3 friends, was excited about attending. Walked in a saw the baked goods and thought I was in heaven. I ordered the Croissant with eggs and cheese(it was on menu with bacon, I’d asked for it without the bacon). The sandwich was bland, salt and pepper did nothing to improve the flavor. Very little cheese and the sandwich was VERY greasy, as I ate the sandwich, my tongue began to tingle(I am allergic to pork), I opened the sandwich and found small pieces of bacon. Was very disappointed that they scrapped the bacon off(at least they thought they did) instead of making a fresh sandwich. The waitress was nice, but I will NEVER return to a Baker’s Crust. Very, very disappointed.

I came here on a lunch break with a coworker the other day. It was pretty empty inside the restaurant, I believe there was only one other table in there with us. We were never greeted when we walked in. Upon sitting down, it took forever for a waitress to come up to us. She took our drink orders and asked«do you need menus?» … Like, yes, that would be very helpful. I decided to get a Cobb salad with a chicken sandwich. The salad was good, it was a good size and was very pretty & fresh. The sandwich, however, wasn’t at all what I imagined. Flavorless and soggy. The waitress also forgot to bring me my salad dressing. No biggie, but she, along with any other waitstaff, were no where to be found. We had to go to the counter and ask. When they did bring it to us, it was in the smallest little sauce cup ever. I’m not too nit-picky about bad or subpar service, but it’s not hard to check up on your table every now and then.

Love this place, great service and fantastic atmosphere. Sat outside in 75 degree weather and enjoyed a great lunch. Had delicious fish tacos and a brick oven Bianca cheese pizza. This was very good, so if your in Norfolk, definitely give them a try!

Love the food and service but get more umbrellas or awning over ALL outside tables. Or don’t have those tables out here. My mother in law is getting fried out here. We love the sun but direct afternoon sun is just uncomfortable. We really wanted to make this Mother’s Day special but we were really disappointed. Because you can’t move tables around we can’t even sit together. Had we known about that we wouldn’t have waiting an HOUR and 20 minutes to sit apart and in the sun.

We went for Sunday brunch, and it was very nice. My husband and I weren’t starving, so we got muffins(blueberry, zucchini pineapple), grits, and fruit. Coffee was hit and good, and my husband had a well prepared hot chocolate. Grits were very creamy, and both muffins were food. The servers were all very nice, and we didn’t have to wait long at all. We plan to go back soon!

I’ve been here twice, once for breakfast and once for Wednesday street taco night. Both times the service was great and the food was delicious. For breakfast I had the West Coast omelette with cinnamon raisin toast. Can’t remember when I last had cinnamon raisin toast and it was perfect. They also have a variety of mimosas and Bloody Mary so you can brunch it up. The shrimp and fish tacos were both awesome! Big pieces of shrimp(not fried) so I felt healthy… except we got the Beer Cheese Fries as a starter. Oh well, those were amazing also. Our second time there our server was apparently very busy so after waiting a bit for someone to come by, the hostess and manager ended up taking care of us and did a great job, so I have no complaints there. It’s a great ambiance and the smells are delicious. I plan to go back to try out a lot more menu items that look super delish, including the lava cake.

We stopped in for a lunch on a Friday afternoon. The place was pretty busy but the service was very good. Meredith took our orders and returned with the dishes very quickly. My wife had the tomato-cheese soup and I had potato soup and Jersey sandwich combo. Naturally, a visit here wouldn’t be complete without having a crêpe. We shared a Diablotin, a crêpe with chocolate mousse, berries and a vanilla sauce.

Have been here plenty of times and it’s ok for some things. Definitely depends what you go there for. I’ve had all the salads and none to rave about. The Cobb might have been the worst for me. Their burgers are pretty good and their shoestring fries as well. The crepes are underwhelming. Drinks also underwhelming. I’d say this is a good place to go for a once in a blue moon burger craving but it wouldn’t be a place I go to regularly. Also on the pricier side of restaurants in the area but the food isn’t necessarily to show for it.

I love baker’s crust. I usually get the wine country salad, but I’ve tried several things and never had a bad meal there. I like bakers crust because it isn’t overly expensive and the Food is fresh. It’s great for a working lunch, date night or a dinner out with friends. One of my go to places in the area.

After eating dinner at Bardo’s, my husband and I wanted something sweet and thought we’d try out Baker’s Crust. The young lady that took care of us at the counter was extremely nice and bubbly. We bought the chocolate lava cake and the chocolate Charlotte cake. The lava cake was a little on the dry side. The Charlotte cake was very moist and delicious. It had lady fingers as a crust. I would have liked them a bit more moist, but my husband loved it a little crunchy. Our sweet tooth was well taken care of!

Was in the area and have eaten at other locations before. They maintain the high standard of quality that is expected. Service is friendly and quick. Our server, Meredith, was very attentive to our needs such as drinks and quality of food. Everything on the menu sounded great and ended up deciding on the pork belly benedict and the short rib burrito. Pork belly benedict using sweet potato biscuits was very tasty. There probably could have been a little more pork on it, but it was adequate enough. The burrito was very stuffed and ended up saving half for later. Topped it off with a skillet cookie topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Definitely a spot to eat at when in the area!

First time here and I must say its benign added to my list of go to spots to eat. I realized they had sweet potato fries and was instantly intrigued about the rest of the menu. My server Merideth mentioned a few favorites, one of which was what I ordered. Charlie’s Chicken and Avacadi sandwich is nothing short of amazing. Juicy butter milk fried chicken with just the right amount of chrunch treated my Taste buds to awesome and tasteful experience. The past salad I had on the side was an excellent compliment as well. I was tempted to look to the dessert menu for more deliciousness but sadly was too full. Something you gotta plan for. I will definitely be back soon!

This is an amazing place! The lady and I choose this as our default place for«Date Nite.» The food is great and I have had just about everything on the menu. Everything is made to perfection and taste wonderfully. The service is excellent! Headed up by Stella, a remarkable and personable lady, she sets the standard by which the rest of the team upholds. Everyone is very caring to the customers needs and seems to really enjoy what they do. You need to check this place out, I mean really… just not on my date night, I want to make sure I get in ;)

Its been a while since the last time I’ve visited this place. In fact, I’ve been here a couple of times for lunch but never tried the breakfast menu. I’m fan of Baker Crust because everything is freshly made. The pastry are my big turn on, the sweets are visually stunning and also taste absolutely divine. I enjoyed coming here, this is probably one of my favourite places in the area. The staff is very professional and dedicated to their job. I also have to commend the politeness and friendly attitude of the staff. The positive vibes of the entire restaurant is infectious. I love the homey spirit and welcoming atmosphere. This is my first time to come here for breakfast. Just as I thought, everything was perfectly fine. My heart was filled of joy as well my tummy. For today’s visit, I ordered the Bacon, eggs and wafflewich served with house fries. Thought everything was delicious, the waffle alone was soft and dense. I also like the house fries, it was crisp and flavorful. Overall, it was a fantastic breakfast. As much as I enjoyed the food, I also have to applaud the staff for terrific customer service.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch today with some colleagues after half day of training at NOB. Me and Brenda had the pizzas, soooo good! Our server Maurice was amazing too, he really made this a 5 star experience rather than just being a 4 star. After lunch we indulged in some confections. Also very good.

So we decided to try this place finally for their pizzas and I was saddened by the quality and service. Pizza was not good! I ordered one margharita pizza and my husband ordered the Blanca his had cheese mine was bread rubbed with some bland tomato sauce. Our server was awful it may have been her first day who knows, came on a Monday night around 7:30pm it was completely dead it definitely reflects because the food was not good. And for what they charge for pizza 10 – 14.00 you can get better quality and more toppings at papa johns definitely. This was our last chance we wanted to love the place as its so close to where we live. I’m done with BC, take your business to Felini’s on Colley! Their pizzas are Italian style and absolutely delicious! Bakers crust you had us fooled with the wood-fired pizzas, this was not a good experience and there’s better quality food elsewhere!

Another stop on the resurant exploration trail for my friend Isaac and I. I’ve always heard good things about Baker’s Crust for a long time and I just recently got a chance to expierence it for myself. As soon as we walked in it were were seated and our waitress was both friendly and helpful despite it being busy for dinner time. Our drinks(a lemonade for me, and a coke for my friend, stayed full). To eat I got the Chareslton chicken & avacado sandwich with bacon, fries, and a side of ranch, while my friend got the chicken & broccoli bow tie pasta. And I can vouch for the both of us, the food was delicious. Didn’t have room for dessert; however, all the goodies in the bakery section looked delicious. I’m going to have to return to try it out sometime. Overall, I can reccomend Baker’s Crust in Norfolk as an upstanding, clean establishment with good food and friendly service.
