I hadn’t heard of this place until I looked into places to get pierced locally and it was really nice to see a new place that specialized in piercing, rather than a tattoo shop with a piercer who worked there time to time. The place is well kept and clean looking. I called ahead of time to ask about prices and that’s what made me want to stop in. $ 10 was the price for each of my piercings, and I got my rook and my daith done. There was also the option to upgrade jewelry to titanium or to add gems or anodize the metal.
Shelbee did my piercings and not only did she do a fantastic job, but when I walked into the store, she was alone and handled the large amount of clients well. She was professional and friendly, and seemed to really enjoy her work. I’ve had a few piercings already, but she made this one of the best experiences I’ve had thus far.
I will definitely be back in a few months to switch out my jewelry!

The best piercer in Hampton Roads is Kat B. Piercing. Naturally, the best place to get a piercing is Kat’s new shop, Artisan Body Piercing. They’ve got the best selection of jewelry. Getting pierced is quick and painless (figuratively speaking), and everything in the shop is spotlessly clean. She’s got 3 apprentices under her wing that are as good as any professional already. The beautiful, knowledgeable staff over at Artisan are second to none. If you are thinking of getting pierced, this is the only place to go. A+++
