Great steak house at reasonable price. We ordered the tomahawk steak for 2 with three sides for $ 65. Well worth it for a huge 2 pound steak. It was nicely flavored and not over seasoned. Even taking it home and reheated in oven, it was still delicious. The sides are extremely amazing but good enough as a match to the steak. Brussels sprouts and sweet potato waffles were good.

After a steak dinner at Hal’s in Buckhead, I didn’t have the highest expectations for The Crossing. But I couldn’t resist the promise of another steak for my birthday. The restaurant was pretty empty when we got here, but the crooning of live music was apparent over the speakers — so maybe that’s where everyone was. Our server was very sweet and friendly. She could tell we were indecisive so didn’t push us to order when we were still choosing. We finally put in an order of the wagon wheel shrimp and our entrees. The shrimp were SPICY! Maybe a bit too spicy, but they were still tasty. It was an unexpected kick in the butt… Maybe if they toned it down a bit it could be an even bigger hit. My friend and I split the porterhouse steak, which came bone in. This bad boy was pretty good. My friend prefers her meat medium instead of my usual medium rare order, but with the bone smack dab in the middle, it was easier to cut into around the bone with the medium temperature. We got three sides: Mac and cheese, the creamed corn and the collard green hash. The creamed corn was SO good. A little more watery than creamy, but the flavors were all there. The collard green hash was pretty disappointing. I don’t know why I expected it to be fried, but it was just a simple steamed medley of sweet potato and collard greens. Not worth it. And the Mac and cheese? YESORDERTHISITISBOMB. Creamy with some nice texture from the Panko crumbs on top. Dessert was CRAZY. They torched the crème brûlée so it was flaming when it got to our table. A little dangerous but SO cool. We were a little scared to eat it right away, so we waited until it cooled down and for the sugar to harden before digging in. A typical crème brûlée, but they definitely gave it a crazy display. Overall, for the price, food was pretty good. Service is a little slow, but we got what we needed in a mostly timely manner.

It was our first time here for a friend’s birthday. I was a old fashion steak house with live music. 1. love the environement 2. Food was great but my porter house was kinad overcooked outside. I paid $ 40 for my steak i kinda expected a better steak than this . 3 Drinks and magarittas were aweful. 4. it was our friend’s birthday and after we spent more than $ 200 on our bill of fourpeople and they could not offer my friend a birthday complimentary desert. It was quite a disappointment

The atmosphere here was cool, the service amazing, and the food was even better. I was surprised how well their prices were. I will definitely come back!

This place was absolutely dead on a Tuesday night but I wanted to give it a shot. Good was decently priced and tasted awesome. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the cook seemed to have different cooks on all the parties steaks and everyone ordered medium well.

Casual but with a touch of elegance that you would from a steakhouse. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu options. The food has always prepared as we had ordered it and it is always very tasty. Good for groups or a romantic evening. Break away and leave the cookie cutter mediocre chains behind they will never treat you this nice.

I had been here before for a rehearsal dinner when it 1st opened, and loved the food. My husband and I made a reservation for our 1 year anniversary. We arrived and were seated in a huge booth next to a large family in the room with live music. As we were looking over the menu, we weren’t impressed with the selection. We overhead the family ask when their food would be ready because their kids were hungry and the waiter said it’d be at least 20 minutes because there was a party going on and didn’t offer them anything for their wait. The mother asked for some bread or crackers for the kids and he said they couldn’t bring any out. We then heard the waiter tell another table they would have a long wait as well, and my husband and I left. We were very disappointed with the service and had been sitting there for a good 5 minutes with no visit from our own waiter.

This place is seriously fantastic. The atmosphere is so laid back yet a little but fancy. All of the service is really awesome too. The servers are all really friendly and make really good conversation. The southern style salad is so good. But the baseball cut sirloin and the cowboy cut ribeye is to die for!

Went for lunch and had the southwest chicken wrap. One of the best wraps I’ve ever eaten. The spices and ingredients are very good, but the caramelized onions and mushrooms make the wrap. Awesome. The restaurant is a very neat place, in an old train depot. Lots of character, good service, and decent prices. Can’t wait to come back for dinner to try a steak.

I have eaten here a few times while meeting with my sorority sisters. There is a really large room for groups. The staff is very attentive. The best appetizer is the Wagon Wheel Shrimp. I order it each time I’m there.

Always nice people and a welcoming atmosphere. Housed in an old train depot, the menu has a lot of variety. I had the Ahi Tuna, prepared medium, spicy creamed corn and grilled asparagus spears.

I moved away from the Atlanta area about 3 years ago tand tonight I was in town on a business trip and came to The Crossing in the hopes that I could enjoy some food from Norcross Station. I come to find out that Norcross Station closed(oh the horror!!) and in its place is this new restaurant called, The Crossing. So I reluctantly stepped inside and decided to give it a try. I ordered a draft beer, crab cake meal with asparagus and macaroni and cheese as my sides. The service was fantastic. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the nice weather. Our server was friendly and made recommendations. The food came out promptly and was cooked perfectly. I was really happy with my order. My guest orderd the steak and shrimp and it was also very good. I would highly recommend this restaurant and hope to be back again soon when I am visiting the Atlanta area!

today was my first time here, and I was highly disappointed. I called in and made reservations and when I got in there, the hostess greeted us right away and we were sat within seconds. That was about 7pm.(And that was the only good part of the evening.) A man came over to take our drink orders within 5 minutes but the server didn’t come until maybe 15 – 20 minutes after, he didn’t even introduce himself or anything, he just asked if we were ready. We ordered our appetizers and salads, and finally after waiting over an hour, the food came, but it wasn’t our apps, it was our entrees. We quickly asked for the manager and mentioned this to him, he wasn’t very concerned, he just apologized and said he would take off the apps.(Knowing that the server told us personally that he had forgotten about it) But even then, 50 – 60 minutes till our entrees came out? that’s absurd. I’m a server myself, and if I was in that situation, I think I would have ran to the kitchen to see what was going on after 20 minutes of putting the order in, I’d also like to mention that the restaurant was not busy. Anyway, the manager still offered the salads, which we rejected because we already had our entrees but they still brought it out, which was never touched. Anyway, I ordered the railway chicken and it was basic, there were two fried chicken breasts, on top of spinach and tomatoes, on top of a huge pile of mash potatoes, drizzled with some kind of sauce.(This entrée was very similar to Bahama Breeze’s Buttermilk Fried Chicken. Having the exact ingredients in both, I couldn’t help but compare the two. Bahama Breeze’s entrée was much more flavorful all around compared to this one.) My friend had a sirloin and my bf had the ribeye, the ribeye was cooked perfectly, while the sirloin was overcooked. After that, we also had ordered desserts, unfortunately, they ran out of the crème brûlée, so we got the the molten lava cake. It was delicious but nothing special. Overall, the long wait and the server really killed our whole experience, we will definitely not be coming back.

I know I’m weird but I go to steakhouses for appetizers and side dishes. Because of this, I can’t give a full review because im sure their steak is amazing. How everyone, being a veggie I try lots of different sides from different places, so my reviews have to be placed mostly on that. I ordered the caprese salad, with a baked potato and a side of asparagus. Everything was fine. It didn’t blow me away, but again, I’m sure if I got a steak, I would be singing a different tune. The atmosphere was awesome and my server was a delight. I also ordered the flourless chocolate cake for desert which was amazing.

What a great surprise! We stopped in downtown Norcross with a rather large group looking for a place to eat and grab some drinks. We ended up here just because they had space for our group in the bar area pretty much waiting for us. The service from the bar tenders was outstanding and everyone’s food was as well. I shared nachos and the steals medallions with my wife and they were both fantastic not to mention very reasonably priced!!! They just made it to my favorite places list! And the even have some very good beers on tap, where’s that 6th star?!!

Omg. The steak here was pretty good. For the size and quality, you do not have to sacrifice the out of pocket expenses. For 12 ounces of steak, you pay $ 17. I’m not a red meat eater, but my friends said this place had the quality and price pat down. The vibe here was nice for a romantic dinner or a special occasion meal since it was dimly lit with candle light on the tables. There was live music as well. This one particular guy that played during New Year’s Eve was pretty good on his guitar. He had quite an amazing voice as well. The strawberry lemon drop(?) I had as a starter was delish. It was one of the sweeter cocktails on the menu. The 12 once rib eye was pretty good. It was juicy and tender. It needed a little pepper, but it was tasty nonetheless. One side I had was the baked mac and cheese. It was good, but I think it could have used more flavor. The second side was the chef select vegetables. It consisted of mixed medley veggies. Nothing too spectacular about this side item. Do get the asparagus. These were HUGE. I should have went with that like my friends… Our waiter was friendly. Although he was somewhat slow and forgetful during times, I think he was waiting on a lot of tables. No biggie. He made up for it with his genuineness and friendly smile. This was def a great dinner to end 2014. What could be a better New Year’s Eve dinner than steak?! Parking was all over since there wasn’t a huge parking lot or many spaces to choose from in the immediate area. I guess folks were out and about enjoying their last evening of 2014.

Great food at very reasonable prices! Service was pretty good, too. Street parking or private lot right next to the restaurant. The Crossing is a wonderful addition to historic Norcross. Pretty warm & cozy décor. Full bar available. Outdoor sitting available if weather permits. What we ordered: ~sampler platter — crab cake(very good), chicken & waffle skewers(different & delicious), arepas(a little tasteless for me even with the avocado sauce), ~prime rib — amazing! great quality & even better price ~ribeye — delicious, cooked to the perfect temperature requested ~bone-in pork chop — unfortunately the pork was pretty dry ~crème brûlée — torched right before it’s brought to the table; pretty good ~molten lava cake — huge portion & delicious! Most entrees come with 2 sides. The Tomakawk comes with 3 sides.

What a great change for this«doomed» location — the setting hasn’t changed a lot and it definitely needs some freshening up, but the kitchen has been transformed. Sit outside if it’s pretty and enjoy a really good meal and some nice wine selections. The service is young and quite good. Took good care of us without hovering(or forgetting about us). Salads, steaks and baked potatoes were all good. Next time I’ll venture out and try some of their other dishes. Great for an evening out in Old Norcross — they have live music on weekends & you can stroll across to the 45 South Café for coffee, dessert and more live music.

Now, I’m giving this place a 4 star rating because the waitress was just OK but the food was great. My boyfriend & I got the 2lb steak for two with 3 sides(loaded baked potato, spinach and macaroni & cheese). The steak was simply delicious! I like my steak medium rare and since the man should make the woman happy, we got the steak cooked to perfection. It was seasoned really well and cut right off the bone. The macaroni and cheese was delicous as well. Nice, cheesy and flavorful. Not bland with just noodles and cheese sauce. The crumbs on top made it a little better as well. They also have lobster mac & cheese for $ 8 more.(But the mac itself costs $ 7 so to add lobster for $ 8 more seemed a little… never mind lol). The loaded baked potato was HUGE! I like that because some places give you these ol’ small potatoes. How am I supposed to eat that? Before the entrée, I got the lobster bisque! This soup was excellent!!! I love lobster bisque and get it at a lot of the restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised because most times it’s either hit or miss. This steak house is pretty good & close to home. I’ll give it another try & next time I’ll try their prime rib, which was the reason I came here this time. LOL

This beautiful old train depot converted in a restaurant is a lovely lunch spot in Old Norcross! Their prices are pretty steep for lunch food, but the taste and portions do not disappoint(their salads could feed small vegetarian armies.) For a first-timer, I recommend getting the sampler appetizer for the table– or better yet, find a friend to split it with you as an entrée! You’ll get the best of all the«fun foods» they offer. My favorite, by far is the«chicken and waffles” — they come on a stick! What more could you want? My only hesitation(other than the price) is that on our last lunch trip– a colleague of mine found several hairs in his salad. The waitstaff and management handled the situation well– offering him something else from the menu and taking the meal off the ticket.
