«Check, check. Testing 1, testing 1.» were the first things I heard at such a high decibel level, I assume they were trying to play not only for the bar patrons, but every soul within a 4 mile radius. God, I hate bands. Luckily I showed up early enough to avoid listening to shitty versions of Journey cover songs. I just wanted something quick and painless for dinner and figured I would drive around and pick a place on a whim. I landed at Confetti’s and my initial entrance was as «wrong place, wrong time» as any could get. I walked in to the dark room, greeted by bartenders working just a few feet from the front door. The front corner of the bar was clearly filled with regulars who all held court, talking over each other with words that ironically produced nothing of any significant interest or importance. I felt for the bartender, Miriana, who was incredibly sweet and probably spends her nights patiently dealing with these asswipes’ non-stop bullshit on a regular basis. She handed me a menu and I knew within a tenth of a second that nothing from that kitchen should enter my body, but I figured that they can’t screw up frying some frozen poppers. While waiting for my food, I was serenaded by the gentleman next to me. I’m honestly, currently typing this a few seats away from an asshole who not only sounds like Jesse Ventura, but has uttered at least 30 stupid things since I sat down.(BTW: His chest hair is protruding no less than 5 inches from his shirt and I feel like I need to call a game warden to investigate if any endangered wildlife may be living there.) A sampling: «Show me your tits» «I was going to pick my ass!!!» «That was the night I discovered garlic.» «Usually, I just thrust.» «Crisis averted. Solution, patience.» «THEINSTIGATOR!!!»(Arms flailing in the air.) Dinner has arrived. Somehow, they managed to screw up the most basic of food. The poppers came with fries which were clearly cooked in oil that wasn’t changed in a while. After two of them, I had no choice but to write them off. It was also clear that the poppers came frozen, out of a bag, which I don’t think the people who frequent Confetti’s give a damn about. The poppers were as expected, but when you enter a smoky bar where Keno is ever-present, your expectations have to be lowered. All in all, this place has ‘Bar Rescue’ written all over it.

I have not been to this location for many years when it used to be Willie McGee’s. Now 16 years later, I stopped by and found out it is now Confetti’s and I am glad that I came by. Last week when I was stuck in traffic(typical here in Atlanta) I had to stop and take a break have a couple of drinks and relax. This place and the people are awesome! The bartenders are top notch, friendly, and it is enough for me to come back and become a regular. I think that I found the bar that makes me feel at home. Something that has not happened since my favorite bar shut down in Buckhead over several years ago.

I ventured here one night by random looking for a quick drink. The bartenders are pretty and boisterous, but they keep the atmosphere fun and laid back. I’m a beer drinker and got my bottles quick. Sang karaōke with some girls I met at the bar and drank some more. One of the girls even mentioned that if I got hammered they would take care of my cab fare. Came here again for the Superbowl and service was fast considering the place was packed. People smoke anywhere they want at this place so if that bothers you, be wary. If you’re looking for a bar scene to cruise around, chill and enjoy a fun setting then Confetti’s is a nice place to go. I’m hoping I can come here one night to dance but I’ve yet to go there on one of those nights. They also offer a free buffet near dinner time. I haven’t eaten here during those times, but I’ve heard good things about it.

Okay so I’ve been meaning to write a review on this place, a friend if mine kept saying how great this place was. so about 4 months ago my mom came here to Georgia to visit and wanted to get grab something to eat. When we walk in the place is full of smoke but it was okay because my mom smokes. So it’s a bit run down and the bartender was our waitress, which shouldn’t have been a big deal because the place wasn’t pack, so my mom orders a salad for like 12 dollars now I work in a restaurant and that salad shouldn’t have been for more than 6 dollars but maybe they shave gold on it cuz it was over priced but my mom ate it any ways. Also they had classic rock blaring so loud it gave me a headache I couldn’t even talk across the table I had to yell so she could hear me. So I just order a ice cream sundae and waited and waited. So when it comes it’s a large soup bowl with two scoops of half melted ice cream with no toppings in site. So I instead of waiting for the slow bartender I go up to one of I guess owners or mangers and ask if I could get some toppings. So I’m like pissed off for waiting so long for a 7 or 8 dollar bowl of melted ice cream I just tell the bartender/waitress to cancel it and you know this heifer has the freaking nerve to come up to the table and have this duck up face attitude and ask why I didn’t want the ice cream any more. I could tell she was fishing to find a reason to get angry with some one. Umm no missy poo I am not the one so I Nicely said that I just didn’t want it anymore and and she walked away in a huff. Last time EVER!!! Don’t go if you want good service. And the food is SOO over priced !!

I’m very surprised they offer a free buffet at dinner time. They must really be counting on high drink sales… We stopped in to a crowded Confetti’s and were welcomed with ‘Welcome to Confetti’s!!!’…I was really hoping a plume of confetti would be shot at us, but that never happened… The bar was filled with smoke. I can do with a little bit, but this was a lot. We didn’t last more than 30 minutes. Played a round of darts, had a couple drinks, then left.

Nice spot for a few drinks, there’s is a nice laid back atmosphere for the 25 and up! Happy Hour times are between 5:30 and 7:00 with that there is a free buffet! The music is real folksy(oldies but goodies) there are plenty of TVs around the place for the sports games and news to keep you entertained. The people and staff are all very friendly and welcoming and the servers have good customer service. The food is pretty good for a bar… enough seasoning and good enough variety of meals on the menu. It’s a nice little watering home for a drink after work.

First time here and first to review! WooHoo! I was on a conference call and decided it was a good idea to come in out of the rain, and traffic. They say you never get a second chance to make a good first impression, and Confetti’s won’t need that second chance. I was greeted immediately after entering, something I don’t often see nowadays. Shayna, the bartender, provided excellent service. She was quick to bring me a menu, quick on refills, and seemed to genuinely appreciate me stopping in. She called me «baby» and«sweetie» a couple of times, which I will also say I don’t hear that often nowadays either. The happy hour crowd was made up of the pub regulars and a few white collar types with their ties off. Three pool tables, a couple of dart boards, and a dance floor lead me to believe this place may liven up in the evenings. There was some food out for the after five crowd, salad, fries, rice and a chicken dish. Not fancy, but free. The menu was the usual bar fare. Draft beer served up in pints, Keno available, cigar friendly, great service. Yay! I’m a fan.(So far!)
