1st time and it was great! Prime rib was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Cocktails, wine and beer served promptly. Our waiter Zachary was very polite, friendly and attentive! They were busy(Valentine’s Day) but we went early at 530p and we were seated right away. We will definitely be back!!!

So, here’s a great Valentine’s day story! My husband and I are not feeling great to go out, so we decide to get take out. Filippis prime rib for us because it included everything. We start to eat our salads and my husband starts choking and subsequently spits out a nasty fingernail, what? Now I can’t eat because it’s so gross. I call them at 1pm, they tell me to call back at 4 for Darcy, the manager. I call, she makes me drive there to show it to her. She’s totally rude and says it’s not their workers(although she has fake nails) and she will only give me a credit and not a refund so I can go elsewhere. I DON’T WANT A CREDIT!!! A BIGDIRTYNASTYFINGERNAILINMYSALAD(ANDTOCHOKEON) DONOTMAKEMEWANTTOCOMEBACK!!! So, that’s my great Valentine’s day story! OUT70DOLLARS! !!! USEDTOBEMYFAVORITEPLACE, BUTNOTANYMORE! !!!

Came here with my boyfriend, our 4 month old and my boyfriends mom. Your typical pizza family restaurant. We had a stroller and when we were seated the tables were so close together that it was hard to have the stroller there. They only gave us one utensil and it took a while till we were able to get our waitress to get us more so we could eat our food. Portions are huge! We have leftovers for a few days! Prices are good for the amount of food your given. Boyfriend got the spaghetti and meatball, I got the ravioli and meatball and my boyfriends mom got a pizza(mainly so we could take it home lol) my ravioli were cooked for too long or sat for too long because they were sticking together and fell apart. The pizza was messy. The meatball was good. Its a good family restaurant if you have kids.

AMAZINGSERVICE and AMAZINGFOOD. Thank you, Darci. This was our first visit and will not be our last. I think the sausage lasagna was the best lasagna I ever had. My husband said the same about the meatball lasagna he had. The meatballs melted in his mouth and so he had to share with me and I absolutely agreed. Their bread was also really, really good. I was also surprised what a great Mai Tai they served, so I had to have two. This is now our favorite restaurant and we will be visiting weekly. We will always ask to sit with Darci as she absolutely complimented our evening with her wonderful personality and home-town courtesy. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

The slowest service ever! Waited 45 minutes for a sandwich. Party of 5 and no one was served at the same time. ½ of our party was finished with their meal before the rest of our party was served.

2nd time here. Couldnt remember first visit. Pizza was just OK. I like my pizza toasty/crunchy, this was anything but that. Also, they use way too much sauce, I like my pizza with not so much. Lasagna wasn’t too great either. The Canolis were by far the worse! WARNING: Do not try them. You have been warned! Idk what kind of filling that was, but it was unlike any other Canoli I’ve ever had.

The food was good enough that we came from the southern part of Corona to eat there but we got there at 7:45. They did have a sign that said that at 8pm people would be seated in the louge. When you go to eat Italian food you dont expect to eat with the ambiance of a sports bar. We de decided it was too loud and decided to go eat some place else. They should really rethink seating people in the lounge.

If you’re a pizza lover. This is a must stop. So good! So much cheese! In my opinion it’s not as great as the one in San Diego… But nevertheless, it’s still one of my all time favorite pizza spots.

Used to be a good place to eat. Prime rib has always been good and good value. Everything else here stinks. Nickel and dime everything and don’t tell you until the bill comes. If you want a side salad with your meal its $ 5 and if you ask to add cheese its $ 8 which seems excessive. When questioned the waitress just said its an add on so we should have known. Drinks are $ 3 and they lag on refills. They also recently cheapo’d out and moved the TVs from the main dining room to the new bar area instead of putting up a few extra dollars to buy some new ones. My spaghetti had no sauce and the bread fell on the table and made a clunking sound so never a good sign. Save your money and stay home.

It’s a hit or miss with this place. One night it could be really good Italian food, and the next a sloppy, greasy and tomato mess. Service is okay, but tonight I waited while the rest of my family ate to discover the server forgot to bring out my food, «Woops» he said. Management has some serious issues they need to fix. I’m considering driving to their San Diego location for dinner and I live two minutes away!!!

We came here a while ago and prime rib and service was excellent. This time service was HORRIBLE. One hour and 15 minutes has gone by and No food yet. We ordered pizza and prime rib. Way too long to get food!!! They didn’t come and take our order. Drinks were flat and horrible and not refilled.

Went into the main dining room for an early Sunday dinner, only to discover that ALL the TVs had been removed and that they shipped them off to an adjoining bar area. WHAT? Is the main dining area not even to be granted ONE nice 50-incher so we can watch the football game while waiting the considerable amount of time for our pizza? No one but crazed jocks want to be in the noisy bar area to eat and view, so what are the rest of us to do? Based on the tiny number of customers in the main dining room, I think word has gotten around. And, they are STILL preparing their spaghetti cafeteria/prison style, by just plopping a big glob of under-drained noodles on the plate and then ladling the sauce on top… NEVER the way to properly make pasta. The sauce should be heated in a pan and then the fully drained pasta placed into the pan and fully coated before it is ever placed on the plate and given to the customer. Man, this is just the basics. Who in the world trained the chef and WHY hasn’t management corrected his evil way?. Customers don’t want to be «slopped» as if they were going through the lunch line in junior high or at Folsom. And, for some reason they are putting the pizza meats inside the pizza so they get steamed and limp rather than on top so they get nice and crisp, as 95% of other pizzerias do. How did their method become the norm at FPG? Service here can run the full range from excellent and cheerful to manned by «space cadets»…and you never know which you will get on any given visit. I read with great dismay all the other Unilocal complaints about service issues. WHY can’t management get this under control? IF it wasn’t for their super yummy prime rib, I would probably stop coming here.

Came in for dinner on a Wednesday. They weren’t very busy. I stood at the front for about 15 minutes before anyone offered to seat or acknowledge me. Ordered a pizza, which took 45 minutes to get! Our server, although he was very nice, was m.i.a for the majority of our meal. My drink went empty for at least 15 minutes before he reappeared. The food was delicious… however the wait for my food was completely unacceptable and in my opinion, NOT worth the wait. This was my first time here and, unfortunately, my last.

WORST service I have ever had! We went for my sisters birthday, and what a disaster. We were a party of 8. We sat down and were not greeted. It took about 25 minutes for a host to come by and ask us if we needed any drinks. We asked for waters and teas. Then our waitress came over about 5 minutes later to ask us for our order. No apology, no introduction, no acknowledgement whatsoever. We got dinners that came with salad. Our salads came out about 30 minutes later when we asked about them twice. We had no silverware, empty drinks, and only half of the salads we ordered. About another 30 minutes later we got 6 out of our 8 dinners, but didn’t get any of the additional sausages or meatballs we ordered. We still never received bread or refills. When asking about what we were missing, the waitress said they were coming(which was her favorite phrase all night) We didn’t end up receiving the missing pizza, pasta, or bread till about 5 minutes before we left. We asked where the items were for about 40 minutes. Aside from that, The waitress never acknowledge that we had a birthday after we told her. She had no remorse for her awful service, nor the extremely long wait for EVERYTHING! This was the worst night out with my family we have ever had…(Way to ruin my sisters birthday)

Probably the worst service i have EVER had in my life Arrives at 600 with a part of 4 and was seated at 605 in the new Bar area. It was so loud you could not even have. Many other parts cae in the area and they ALL asked to be moved due to how this one TV was on the wall. We ordered 4 drinks 2 iced tea and 2 sodas and. received our drinks drinks at 620 and we also ordered some bread and it finally arrived around 635. after asking for it 4 times. Don’t know what the waitress was doing all this time and she would disappear for long stretches. Finally some gut came out and brought some bread and he seemed to be trying to help but he said he works in the back preparing the food. He then brought some drink refillls A hostess came by and asked us how everything was so far and we said horrible. Could not get refills, short a serving of silverware setting, it was very noisy, took 4o minutes to get bread and she kept stating bread will be right out. This has now became a funny catch phrase for my family«bread will be right out». Other tables had already started to receive food and one even finished. There was a number of complaints about service. After a second hostess came by and asked how things are so far, we express the same concerns. We ordered 3 spaghetti dishes one with lasagna and, 1 medium pepperoni pizza so nothing out of the ordinary. The spaghetti was good, the pizza was good but the lasagna was mine and it was cold, not warm but cold. The meat sauce on top was just warm but Ok. When then waited for somebody to come by and not body was there. I had to get up to ask for box and was able to get the cook from earlier. We asked for boxes and our check. 10 minutes go by and then we were delivered 2 pizza boxes. My wife asked do I put the spaghetti in the pizza box?. We asked for a box for this food. We then received a box and was told check would be right out When a hostess brought a table to sign for card. She just sorry with no offer of an kind of discount or anything. Not going back here any time soon .

Recently Filippi’s opened a bar addition to their restaurant, which is honestly kind of an odd setup because they are now two non-adjoining store fronts with a beauty shop in between. There is a back hallway that joins the new bar(with additional seating) to the original restaurant. This has no bearing on the review, but I thought it was interesting. This as my first visit since the addition opened. My family of four(two teenagers, my husband and I) went there for dinner tonight at around 6 pm. We were seated in the bar area and the music was so loud we shouted at each other just to try to have a conversation until we asked a waitress to turn it down. We had not chosen to eat in a bar, we were seated there because they didn’t have seating in the restaurant part to accommodate us. No issues there and they were very nice and turned it down. Our waitress took our drink order and brought them out, and took our food order and all seemed perfectly fine. And then it went downhill, fast. The place started to fill up. 20 minutes with no sign of anything my husband flagged down the waitress and asked for bread, and she promised she would bring it out right now. 30 minutes later and no less than 5 promises of «It’s coming out right now» we received bread. That was 50 minutes of sitting there with drinks and then getting bread. Our food came out 1 hour and 20 minutes after ordering it, so another 30 minutes after the bread finally arrived. We ordered two pasta dishes, a meatball sandwich, and one pizza. The pasta could be made in minutes. I know the sauce is ready and all they have to do is toss the pasta in boiling water. The lasagna was cold, but they were at this point so busy that no one came to check on us, and none of us was willing to see how long a reorder would take. We sat another 20 minutes after finishing until I literally shouted across the restaurant to someone hurrying off to please bring us boxes and the check. I honestly had considered calling the front desk and asking them to send someone back to us. I figured they would answer the phone. If we were bad people it would have been easy to walk out without paying since the lack of attention was so severe. All in all, we were there just under 2 hours, the food was mediocre and cold, and the service terrible. I told no less than 4 people what a terrible experience this was and they all apologized and said the kitchen was backed up tonight but no manager ever came over nor did anyone offer to do anything to help make this visit any better. Such a shame because I have enjoyed this restaurant several times, but I doubt we will ever return. I am not sure if they understaffed for a Sunday night or if they have just outgrown what the restaurant can now hold. As we left I heard the waitress telling a table near the door, «I’m bringing your salads RIGHTNOW.» My kids and I laughed and I said(quietly), «Well, good luck with that!»

Filippis is a family owned and operated chain of restaurants. The only one I have eaten at is the Norco location though. We have been coming here for years and the food is excellent! The pizza is great but I usually have the lasagna with meatball and sausage. Both are home made. They are also famous for their prime rib. Really, really good! They just opened a bar attached to the restaurant with 21 taps. Full food menu as well with TV’s for sports. Nice people and great food!

This place is located in the middle of horse town USA Norco California. Located in the middle of a shopping center with not the greatest curb appeal don’t let that stop you from walking in. Once you walk through the front doors you’ll still think did I make the right choice coming here, because it looks a little like a dive 70s restaurant. We came here because we were referred by a friend because of the unique menu. Remember I said this place was located in horse town USA? That being the case most cowboys won’t settle just for some pasta or pizza there has to be some meat involved somewhere. The menu is classic Italian pizza, pastas and salads. But they have one great addition prime rib. We ordered a pizza, pasta dish, salad, and a regular cut prime rib so that we can get a true representation of all the flavors they have to offer. First let’s start with the important thing service. The service was excellent. Our server was prompt with drink refills and kept us informed of the progress of our meal. The salads were your normal run-of-the-mill dinner salad. The lettuce and produce were fresh and the dressings tasted good. The pasta well that’s another story. The noodles were fresh and well cooked, but the sauce is the secret. The sauce on the noodles was excellent it had just the right amount of seasoning and provided a great alternative to many other Italian restaurants. The pizza was set apart by other locations because of the sauce. It had a unique distinct Italian taste. The pizza had just the right amount of toppings, the toppings were underneath the cheese. I would rank this pizza above Jojo’s for those of you who are familiar with them and equal to Petrillo’s. It is the sauce that sets the pizza apart also in a great way. So this brings us to the moment of truth. An Italian restaurant trying to serve prime rib. Well they must have some cowboy back in the kitchen because the prime rib was excellent. It was perfectly cooked, had great flavor, was juicy, and just the right amount of marbling. With that being said, don’t let how the prime rib is served to you for fool you. When you get it it is served on a Milmac plate right out of the 70s. If they serve this on fine cutlery like in some restaurants they could easily charge double. I would rather pay less and have a great tasting food. At the end of the day this is our new favorite local Italian restaurant and place for a quick prime rib. So whether you ride a horse or drive a car I would say get yourself into the pizza grotto you’ll be glad you did. Enjoy, Don
