BM Equine

I’ve been training with Mercedes and BM equine for a little over a year. The lesson horses are great and they always take very good care of their riders. My personal horse is currently in training with Mercedes and I couldn’t be happier with his progress and our progress together. I have never been a more confident rider and I can definitely say that is a result of how great Mercedes and everyone at the barn is! Everyone at the barn is so friendly and it is a very welcoming environment.

My 8 yo has been taking private English riding lessons with Tristin for 5 lessons now and she has enjoyed every minute of her hour long lessons here at BM Equine.
I’m not an expert on horses or lessons since I’ve only been on a horse for the very first time last Friday on a tour elsewhere. But, I can tell thus far from my daughter’s progress that Tristin is a great instructor who is patient and has the ability to connect with my daughter as a beginning rider with only the experience with horses from pony rides at a pumpkin patch or the OC fair.
My daughter has learned to be comfortable around horses, safety rules, how to groom and saddle up her horse with a little help since she’s still under 4ft. tall. :)
Today only on her 6^th (first semi-​private) lesson, my daughter has good control and command of her horse Victoria, who was not copperating well and wants to do her own thing. She has learned to guide the horse to walk, trot, stop, and change directions. She has also learned how to do 2pt. over posts while trotting.
