Fishers Renaissance Faire

Enjoyed our day at the festival! It was $ 12 entry fee for adults, $ 6 for children. Under 4 is free of charge. The guide handed out at the gate was very helpful to know what acts were happening and at what time. There were several unique vendors and the turkey legs were delicious. Beer and mead were served to those over 21. Young children and adults were dressed up in time period attire and several games were happening among the tents. We also met with a spiritual advisor and dream interpreter for no extra charge. Overall a good time, we would attend in the future!

What Happened???
I have been away from Indy for the past couple of years but in past years I really enjoyed attending the Fishers Ren faire… when it was at Connor Prarie.
This new location that the faire was at this year was awful! It felt as if we were in a stretch of land that would soon become a track housing development. Had no feeling of being in medival times… just in a muddy lot.
Now I know that there is not much you can do to prevent the rain (yes it rained. alot both days) but I think you can be better prepared for these circumstances.
parking lot = Muddy/​car got stuck
entire faire = muddy
Price of food & drink = too pricey
Fun time = not had
Please revamp your setting back to something comparable for next years faire!!!
