Beautiful inn in a wonderful location. Unfortunately, I have never encountered anyone in the hospitality industry so unhappy about having guests. They retreated our rather large party as a major inconvenience. So disappointing.

I love this locally-owned and operated business! Niwot Inn & Spa is a blessing to the Town of Niwot as well as its local workers. This is a company that really cares and it shows. The owner is a good steward of the earth and the team is amazing. I know, because I work there. Niwot Inn & Spa treats their sitters and keepers very well, which in turn creates employees who really care about their guests. I don’t think I’d be alone in saying that I am constantly striving to take your experience to the next level because I am proud to be part of this company and well, that’s kind of who I am. And that’s the kind of people who are attracted to the Niwot Inn: caregivers. Any company that cares for their employees in this way is certain to cherish its customers– because you’re more than a customer; you’re family. I tell everyone I know to stay here because I trust that they’ll be well taken care of. And no… nobody put me up to this and I didn’t lose any bets. This place is just *that* awesome. Come have a stay sometime and see for yourself!

I love this place. A perfect place to stay if you are visiting anywhere near Niwot. A very comfortable Inn with friendly staff. Continental breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese. It complements perfectly the small charming town of Niwot.

We just stayed at the Niwot Inn. I would have given it five stars until just before we left. The inn is as perfect as one could hope for. The rooms are large and beautifully appointed. Lynn, one of the employees was as friendly and helpful as possible. The little town is quaint with a couple of nice restaurants. One downside is that it is you can hear trains going by in the night, so our sleep was interrupted several times. The inn itself is quiet but be prepared to be awakened by the whistle. This aside, it is the perfect place for a romantic night or weekend. Unfortunately our perfect stay was interrupted just as we were leaving the following morning by an incredibly rude employee. It was close to 11AM. She knocked on the door to inform us that check-out was 10AM and that she had allowed us to stay as long as she could, but that«we needed to get out as soon as possible».(Her exact words), after which she turned around and walked away. Now I have never been anywhere with a 10AM checkout. It makes little sense, especially since they serve breakfast until 10AM. There was no checkout time posted and we were never informed of check-out time upon registering. When I pointed this out upon leaving, she said it was in the email confirmation I received– only problem is, I never got one. So aside from this one employee and the train noise, it is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed.

Love this place, so relaxing and comparable rates to hotels in Boulder.

Both utterly gorgeous and incredibly friendly, even to travelers that were… well, there we all were, three generations of G Family gathered for an event in Boulder. It’s a testament to the facilities — particularly the incredibly capacious and well-designed Apartment unit downstairs — that we all managed to live in the same space without brawling. The facilities were both lovely and discreetly impervious to the small children in our party, and the space had plenty of room for the six of us – those two Aerobeds in the hall closet were greatly appreciated. The kitchen was clean and functional and the living/dining room was incredibly well-done.(Seriously great design, in fact. Pretty sure it was only the laws of physics, not the laws of the State of Colorado, that kept me from trying to pack the dining-room table and bench in my carryon.) A word about food: The snacks upstairs were a nice invitation to enjoy peace and quiet and newspapers in the Great Room or on the front porch, and the complimentary coffee and tea were lovely too. However, I want to specifically compliment the breakfast. So often at this sort of establishment, breakfast is mainly about pastries and fruit and maybe some cereal — big sugar, big carbs. However, both mornings I was greeted with… eggs! Actual delicious hard-boiled eggs! All that other stuff was there, but all that other stuff is for other peoples’ breakfasts. I got my egg and a bit of fruit and some more damn fine coffee, and it made the rest of two incredibly high-stress days much, much easier to face. A all-around wonderful facility. I look forward to visiting again.

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights and were very pleased. Niwot is a cute, tiny town with some good restaurants and easy access to hiking and to both Longmont and Boulder. You can borrow a bike from the Inn if you are so inclined to explore. Room rates were far lower than staying in Boulder itself, but accommodations were on the same level. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Room décor was a great balance between rustic and elegant. My husband appreciated the attention to detail throughout the Inn. Everything was extremely clean and well kept. Our bed was amply pillowed and comfortable. The room amenities, breakfast, and additional available snacks throughout the day were well above average. My favorite part was the bathroom! I specifically chose our«Rio Chama» room for the«steam shower,» as each room has slightly different options. The shower was even better than most steam rooms I’ve been in — easy temperature control, pulsing steam that filled the shower quickly and consistantly, two options for shower heads and a great bench seat. Plus, both the bathroom floor and toilet seat were luxuriously heated. The only small complaints we had in our stay were that our lovely, plush towels all had a hint of mildew. Also, that there is no actual spa at the«Inn and Spa», although there are about five boutique massage offices within a block of the Inn.

Our whole family stayed here 2 years ago for our wedding and took up the whole place and we came back to celebrate our anniversary. Both occasions the Inn has been just wonderful and accommodating! So cute, great décor and many nice touches. Love the wine and cheese daily happy hour, snacks and cookies in the main area and the breakfast in the morning. Great front porch to relax outside, bikes for use during your stay. The town of Niwot is also just as quaint as well as the other businesses in town. We will be back again next year. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique place to stay in Boulder County.

We stayed here for our anniversary and the location and staff were fantastic. The rooms are very tasteful and styled in rustic Colorado flair. The massages the next morning were a plus.
