Papa John’s Pizza

What a joke. I live in Niles. They are located in Niles. Was told sorry we don’t go that far. Since when is 3.2 miles too far!!!

Hit or miss at this place. They royally screwed up more than once. No apology, and no offer for free pizza. Just bring it in and we’ll get you a new one. yeah, thanks. pregnant wife wants to wait longer at 1am.

I ordered Papa John’s for an event on a Monday at lunch time. Being sure the order was correct and giving enough notice, I called Friday afternoon to place the order. After calling on Monday to confirm and add one more large pizza, I realized this was not going to be a seamless transaction. I have used this location twice before with no problems, but this time was different. When the event I am planning includes a large number of people and a short window of time, I need a place that is reliable.
In short, there were many phone calls back and forth, I was charged for the incorrect amount, refunded and recharged, the driver was late, and some pizzas were well cooked while others were not. Thankfully everyone had something to eat and I had enough money in my account to cover the two pending charges until I am refunded for the first transaction. I don’t plan to use this location again if I can find another one in the area.

Staff is friendly and they do deliver. They made me into a regular customer.
If you’re in the mood for a spicy pizza try the jalapeño topping, it is awesome!
Their cheese pizza is simple and good!

Usually I don’t have problems with these guys. I ordered today, they told me it will take of 40 – 45 mins. one hour later I called them and they told me the pizza is still in store waiting for driver. and it’ll take another 30 minutes. They didn’t offer any discount for pizza and offered to cancel instead like they didn’t care. Not going to order from them anymore.

I worked here lol. I really liked the pizza and the bread sticks with the different sauces. The specialty pizzas are great.

A new Papa John’s, finally, in our area. My roomie spotted the sign before it opened up and we investigated. It’s in a smaill strip mall west on Golf road past Greenwood Ave., right side of street. No seating indoors, mainly a pizza «pick up» spot. We were excited because there is no Papa Johns anywhere near here and we’ve been dying to try it.
On 06/​17/​2010 we ordered our first Papa John’s pizza. The attendant was very cordial on the phone and in person, the food was made within ten minutes (an extra-​large, 4 topping pizza — Sausage, extra cheese, pepperoni and onions) with a geneous «grand opening» discount. Very nice.
Now the taste: a little doughy, crust could be baked firmer to give the pizza more crispness and the sauce was a little too fresh for me (spices hadn’t settled in yet). The extra cheese which we ordered could have definitely been MORE cheese than we got. They also put into the pizza box two spicy pepperoncini peppers on the side (a nice touch) and a little container of warm, garlic butter. We dipped the pizza in it, and it was WONDERFUL!!! Nice flavor to balance off the pizza itself.
I think we had hoped for more, but this was a pleasant surprise. On par with Pizza Hut and better than Little Ceasars and Dominos. With all the great pizza places in the area, this is one we’ll do every once in awhile.
