Very disappointed by my visit this afternoon. Was a regular until today. Went in for a BCS and was told since I wasn’t a regular they won’t sell me one. The woman in front of me argued with the staff until she got hers and pissed everybody off. The guy in back of me also got one. After expressing that this is pretty crummy I was told there’s no need for smart ass comments. Wow what a guy!

I love this place. The people are wonderful and helpful. The beer manager is not as up on the craft beers as I would like, but still very good.

It doesn’t get any better than this! Bill — the Owner — Is one of the nicest guys you will Ever meet! I used to live close to this store, and Bill always keeps my ‘special order’ brand in stock. And they have Great selection of beer and wine! I moved to the next town, but still come back to Cardinal because I want to give my business to people who care and love what they do! I could easily go somewhere more convenient.
If I’m running late and cannot get there by 9, I will call to let them know that I’ll be there 2 or 3 minutes late. Bill will keep the store open until I get there! You certainly can’t ask for more out of the best business in town!

These gents are legit. They’re always having breweries in for free tastings, they are my go-​to place when I’m looking for a hard to find beer, and their prices are very reasonable. They’ve got a great selection and a great staff. Highly recommended

found this place by accident but they have stolen me away from Binny’s. Great selection, better prices and specials and close enuf to Chicago to be worth the drive to avoid Chicago taxes

I cannot speak highly enough of this place. The beer selection is huge, and can easily compete with the likes of Liquor Barn and a smaller Binny’s. But this place, being a hidden gem in Niles, makes it better to get some of the limited release beers that Binny’s runs out of really fast.
I picked up some Bourbon County Stout with no issues and no lines. It will be my go to shop for future beer purchases when I am in the area.

If you’re looking for the best prices I’ll save you the trouble, these are the guys and they’re fun too; Me: How come the price went up a dollar, did you see me drive up? They canvas the area for pricing and then make sure they are a dollar or so le$$! And they have everything!

Cardinal is my go-​to place for craft beer. Sure, Binny’s selection is larger (although Cardinal just recently expanded their selection), but Cardinal’s selection is carefully chosen, and it’s easy to find something new and delicious. Plus if there’s a very popular seasonal beer, Cardinal will usually still have some on their shelves after Binny’s has already sold out of it.
If you want to find beer that’s already cold, Cardinal has a better cold craft beer selection than the nearest Binny’s.
Probably the best thing about Cardinal is that everyone knows me there (does that mean I buy too much beer? LOL). I can always count on Charlie to recommend me something great.

I have done a few liquor events at this location, and I have to say that it’s one of my favorite locations to work. First of all, let me just say that the store manager, Bill has a voice like a radio announcer; it’s cool. He’s friendly and knowledgeable too.
Adam, the ‘Wine Guy’, knows his wines, and is an amusing fellow. Charlie, the ‘Beer Guy’, is also knowledgeable and friendly, and helped me out lots!
If you are in this area and are in need of some liquor, this is the place to go. Tell them Lorna (from Absolut, Jameson) sent you. :)
