Sammy’s Pizzeria

Place was pretty empty, but have heard through people that the pizza and wings is good. Was pleasantly surprised with the prices (worse now probably due to the exchange). Ordered a slab pizza and wings. Sweet pickled peppers for the pizza are nice if they have them. Wings were good size as well. It isn’t lavish inside by any means, but you are here for pizza, wings and cold beer, so I am sure décor is your last concern. Would return with the right crowd if in the area.

Okay my take here at Sammys, the man who took my order very polite, soft spoken all in general a nice guy. He even grabbed a menu to read things off for me, so any way we fell in love with Sammys Pizzeria. The Pizza is nice and thin thats excellent, the wings were Hot like we ordered and my Honey Garlic was just fantastically the way they should be. Anti pasta could have been better without the bell peppers but still good. So I give Sammys a 5 and also they give out celery instead of carrorts. I love it

Ordered a meal for delivery with an estimated 45 minute wait from Sammy’s. Took almost two hours to get here. Called twice to check on our order and was promised «within 15 minutes» twice, which turned into over 45. Once the food got here, it was cold and the croutons on my salad were soggy. The delivery man was very polite but that’s about all I can say for this place…

I have gotten food from them quite a few times since my last review. Each time the quality of food has gone down. Each time the food is worse and the weight time is way longer than I am told. A few months ago I got the chicken finger dinner and the fingers were greasy and the fries were half cooked and it took and hour to get to me. I thought maybe it was a one time thing a few weeks later I thought I would give it another go and got the spaghetti and meatball the past was rubbery and barely any sauce. Today I was hungry and gave them another go I ordered a greek wrap they said 45 minutes so 45 minutes came and went it ended up being an hour and half. I open it up and the greese is dripping from the wrap. Instead of grilled chicken it is chicken fingers and feta cheese. that is all that was in the wrap! No lettuce, no olives, no onions, no dressing. the only thing they listened to was no tomatoes. For 10 dollars I would expect the order to be ontime and to be correct. I gave them 3 more tries and they have struck out next time I will go hungry before ordering from them. Maybe someone else took over cooking but the quality, service and taste have me saying not coming back!

I really like sammy’s. Great food, good people, just a great family business keeping it real. I’m gonna be back

Although the food here is normally ok, I stopped in for 3 pizza slices. The pizza was cold but I ate the 1^st slice anyway. Not really tasty and the sauce must be tomato soup. The other slices were soggy and I couldn’t eat them. I requested and received a refund for all 3 slices.
Would not recommend this place

The pizza&&wingz are amazing even the next morning I warmed up my pizza, tasted better then before!

Poor customer service. Worse delivery. I’m visiting from California and my hotel recommended I call to get pizza delivered. The employee on the other side of the phone neglected to ask me what size pizza I wanted or how much it was going to cost. Before I could ask he had already hung up. I’m new to your restaurant. Help me figure out how I need my pizza done. After waiting over an hour my pizza finally showed up. The delivery employee showed up with a roll of twenties but couldn’t give me change and ended up cheating me into giving him a bigger tip for a pizza that I won’t be able to finish and didn’t even know how much I was paying for. Mind you. I’m by myself. A large pizza showed up. Inside the box was the worst attempt at BBQ chicken pizza I’ve ever had. Nothing besides chicken was on the pizza. No onions. No toppings. I’m very disappointed. I will not be eating here again or recommending it. I feel ripped off.

I’ll be honest, I order from here all the time. It’s about time this place gets an honest review!
My favorite pizza to order is half tray white pizza with tomatoes onions and banana peppers. It hits the spot every time ! I also love the Royale Sub. Hot capicola and sausage… My mouth waters just thinking about it.
The portions are huge too, you get more and then some for what you pay! It’s by far the number one pizza place in Niagara.

Just can’t get any better! Did I tell you we drive from Toronto to eat at Sammy’s bin doing it for years!

This place has some history to it. Glowing signs, dim lighting, green felt carpet, rec room tables and chairs and best of all Lethal weapon 4 pin ball.
Here goes for the food.
First off for the record I am an Anchor Bar girl. I just am. Maybe it’s because I went there first but if I have the chance that is where I’m going. However Sammy’s is pretty damn terrific.
They’re salad has been said by some to be full of magic. It’s just simple and delish… NOT healthy but delishhious.
The pizza is pretty okay. Some people think it’s out of this world but i’d say it’s pretty good.
The wings. The honey garlic are the best I’ve ever had. They have turned a vegitarian back to the dark side. I saw it with my own two eyes.
The other wings are pretty damn good as well but as I said I am an Anchor bar girl till the end.
But go here. it’s fun. Not pretty but very colorful
