Mr Ventry’s Pizza

Horrible place to order food from, how does it take a whole hour to deliver 10 wings are you kidding me bullshit.

Delivery was fast, both the delivery guy and the guy that took my order were nice and to the point. My husband got pizza and I got wings. Now we are from Chicago, so pizza is sacred, but we both thought the pizza was decent (even though the pepperoni was kind of weird looking, which didn’t affect the taste). I really liked the hot wings though… they were classic style in buffalo sauce, which had a good flavor, were slightly crispy served with blue cheese on the side. The price was not bad and bonus for being the only delivery place open late. I had a good experience… I would order again.

Here is my first time experience. Mr. Ventry’s is open until 2am on Monday’s. I called at 1:04am for a delivery (I was a 7min drive away according to Maps) and the call took 3 minutes since the guy put me on hold. So by 1:07am my order was placed and I hung up. Waiting… Waiting… Waiting… At 1:49am I called back and asked if my order (a small cheese pizza and an order of BBQ wings) was on it’s way. The guy answered no and said, «It’ll be on it’s way shortly.» Okay no problem. Waiting… Waiting… 2am rolls by… Waiting some more… 2:20am I call again, asking if my pizza was actually coming. The same guy said it left and the guy was on his way. HHungry and waiting… I realized I could have walked there and back (23 minute walking distance) already! The guy finally pulls up at 2:32am. After being surprised by the cost, I regret not asking for the price. So now for the taste test. the pizza was unfortunately a major thumbs down for me. The wings were only okay. Based on this experience, I do not recommend ordering from here due to very poor service and my opinion of the food.
Note: I also found it quite strange that the driver randomly told me his father just died. Why would you tell a complete stranger out of the blue? Maybe he was just trying to guilt me into giving him a larger tip. Not sure what that was about.

Tell them that «Big Tim» sent you. Ask for Buck. He is the best. Best prices in town. Great pizza. Great wings. If you want cheap food and good food, don’t pass this up. I’m a local. I swear by it. Ignore the bad customer service claims… it’s just their personality. It’s an act. They treat us great. I will eat here for life.

This place is awesome. Highly recommend pizza & wings specials are very affordable AND delicious. Extremely generous with the fries, the wings are bigger than most places around here too. I get steak & cheese subs here too very good. Great pepperoni on the pizza too. The only thing I’ve ever had a problem with is Sunday orders but that’s not that bad just a longer wait and sometimes not as great. Other than Sundays it’s perfect

Guy yells «ventry’s!» through the phone when he answers. I didn’t understand him at first and he seemed impatient and yelled it 3 more times before I got what he was saying. The phone order was a little awkward after that and I had to prompt him to take my credit card. If I hadn’t, he was ready to assume it was a cash order.
Delivery was quoted at 40 minutes but it took just over an hour.
Pizza was good but not great.
Price was really good for the area.

The food was okay but the wait was horrendous even though I placed it on the phone. Furthermore my order was wrong so I had to come back to have it exchanged. Also they have a nasty attitude. One positive they are open later then anyone else.

My go to pizza spot for slices. I have been coming here for over 20 years. Slices are cheap and almost always available without having to call ahead and ⁹⁄₁₀ times, there’s some coming out the oven nice and fresh. The Salads are pretty good too. There’s nothing like pizza from Niagara Falls and slices are only about a buck to $ 1.25 each.

The food was ok, but the customer service was horrible. I called to check up on an order and was hung up on. Seriously, have a little more pride and treat your customers with respect. Not to mention our food was COLD when it got to us.

theyre the worst ever save yourself the pizza took over two hours they were ten minutes away they told me itd be a half hour i called an hour and a half later they told me it was on the way when it got there an hour later it was stale cold and looked like itd been on the floor fuck theyre shit

Ordered pizza and was told it would be 40 minutes. After an hour and 10 minutes, I called to ask how much longer and I was told it would be delivered. When I asked how long it would be, the guy said it will be delivered and then hung up on me. I then tried calling back and the line was busy for the next 20 minutes. When I finally got through, the guy put me on hold for 5 minutes and when I told him to cancel my order he hung up on me. 10 minutes later (an hour and 50+ minutes after I ordered) the delivery guy called and was looking for the address. I explained that we had cancelled the order and he did at least apologize for the mistakes. He was surprised that they didn’t tell him the order was cancelled when he called back for the address. I recommend that people stay away from this place if they want their order in a reasonable amount of time and expect some respect from the order taker on the phone.

was my last time I will place a order from this pizza place three time my order was messed up plus I give good tips wow place is not like the spot I ate when I was younger. order a large sub me and girlfriend not happen any more no oil on steak and cheese fries was not cooked like I ask again and the pizza was just sloppy in box stack on each other was not happy never called right in the can nasty lost me, wont hurt but done make sure your order is right before leaving not happy still up set money right in the garbage like the food only thing good the driver lol

When asked where to get a real new york zaaa. I was told about this rat hole. Ordered from quality inn. By Niagara.. took an hour and a half. Ordered a litter of pop. Never got it. Ordered half pep and sas other half cheese for my 11 yr old daughter. And I get ½ pep and other ½ pep on all of it. Pizza sucked. Daughter said she had better zaaa at school. Ewwwww. delivery guy looked like a crack head. .all in all if you want a real zaaa head to Chicago. o ya sausage on zaaa was those little fake sausage balls. you know like grade school. awful zaaaa…

Great pizza and wings, every time.
Always quick to deliver and open late when most pizza places are closed.
Ordered from them dozens of times, never a bad experience.

I never thought I would be somebody who orders pizza every week, I never even used to like pizza and wings all that much but my fiancée and I love the Ventrys on 22^nd and Pierce so much that we order from them every Friday after we clean the house. Small pie, mild wings, and two orders of fries.
We hate to go a Friday without them.
The food has always been good and hot. The pizza is nice and cheesy with the perfect amount of sauce (I don’t like overpowering sauce). We’ve never had an issue. :)
I don’t care for the neighborhood very much but it’s very close to home and the food is well worth it. The prices are good too-​hence, how we’re able to order every week.

Decided to give this place a try a few weeks ago. I am glad I did. This is my new pizza place to go in Niagara Falls. I have only gotten slices here but I was pleased with the product. It had just the right consistency of ingredients for me. I also tried the steak sub which was what I consider a typical Niagara Falls sub.

My wife and I took a chance and ordered from the one on Buffalo Ave. It was basically a cold call as we did not have a menu. What a mistake. First of all, what type of pizza place in Western New York does not do wings? I mean seriously. So instead we got the fingers. The medium was like they did not even have any sauce on them. They were over fried and the grease leaked through the box and onto the seat of my car.
Secondly, the pizza was under sauced and the cheese was skimpy. All I could taste was oregano.
Thirdly, there is not much of a menu. So don’t expect much.
Lastly, for any people not from the neighborhood you should know that it is a cash only business. Wish I would have known that from the start. I had to leave my food there and go to an ATM to get cash and come back. Needless to say we learned a hard lesson.
But hey at least it is clean on the inside.

I have not had Ventry’s Pizza in a long time so I decided to give it another try. Of course I ordered their Old Fashion pizza which is just a plain pizza with only tomato sauce, spices and parmesan cheese. I was not disappointed as it was as good as I remembered. Will have to return their again in the near future.

Pizza was very good. Had to wait for an hour and forty five minutes for delivery, after being told it would be an hour. The pizza was lukewarm when it arrived. Like I said, it was good, but not that good. I can only wonder how good it would have been if was hot and fresh!

Love Ventry’s. I have been going there for years and there is no better pizza then this. I keep coming back for more!
That being said they could you a face lift as the interior is a bit run down and old.
Other than that best pizza!
