The place is small but full of information about the geological origins and history of the Niagara Gorge. The only problem is that most of the interactive stands don’t work and the information is not well organized. But if you still have any questions unanswered you can go to the building of the former power station 3(past the rock climbing wall). There is a person in there who knows a lot and will answer your questions.

I love State and National Parks, buy the annual passes and drive their license plates and frequent various parks over 30x a year. This place was my lamest and worst experience(mostly because it was a waste of time/money) at a State or National Park center. Charging admission for this place is ridiculous. We went because we purchased the Discovery Pass, but like the other reviewer says — half of the interactive activities here are STILL broken and very, very out of date. We spent about 10-minutes here and 8-minutes of that was stuck in a fake elevator virtual«ride» with 2 of 4 broken screens and a 70’s or maybe early 80’s recording of a fake scientist teaching about the(could be interesting if done better!) different layers of dirt, etc. If I ever go to Niagara Falls again, this place is absolutely 100000000% skippable — just like the aquarium next door and therefore the Discovery Pass is definitely not recommended or a value by any means.:(

Not worth the price of admission. Very small and half the«interactive» exhibits were broken. Climbing wall hasn’t be accessible for the last two years due to all the construction around it.
