Maybe not a 5-​star hotel by normal standards but by Air Force Inn standards it is head and shoulders above any other one I have stayed at.
The rooms are large with a full bath which is rare for AF Inns. Towels are soft, pillows are huge and there are 4 per bed and blackout shades for sleeping in.
The staff is great and you might catch Danielle singing behind the counter if you sneak down the stairs. She even managed to smile all three times (and counting) I somehow managed to demagnetize my room key.
The base facilities are great and our local contacts were very friendly and accommodating.
Close to Niagara Falls and the greater Buffalo area.

So close to niagra falls. Make sure you bring your military id. Crash at the inn and see the falls! You wont be disappointed!

I stayed at the Air Force Inn Lodge at Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station for a couple nights while visiting Niagara Falls. The location was close enough to get to the Falls and surrounding areas while not having to pay exorbitant rates closer to the Falls on a holiday weekend.
The room was great, and had all I needed. A TV, microwave, fridge, and sink in the kitchenette area… shower stall in the bathroom. Comfortable beds. Free WiFi. What more do I need?
The base itself was pretty much shut down for the holiday weekend (Labor Day) — I don’t think I saw a single other soul walking around other than security and hotel guests… very much a sleepy hollow.
I’d definitely stay there again.

I had the opportunity to visit the Reserve Station yesterday to get my wife a new id card. From the time I arrived at the base I was treated with the courtesy that I have grown to expect at a military installation since I have been associated with the military since 1973. Everything was «Yes Sir» from the Security Police at the front gate to personnel at the id card section. The Sergeant who processed our id card was very efficient as we were able to obtain a new id card in about 15 minutes. This was one of the best id card sections that I have had the opportunity to visit.
