Kim’s International Cafe At The Gate

Found the café on Unilocal and I’m glad I did. Reviews are accurate! It was awesome. Sweet sweet hostess who went above and beyond to serve us! Highly recommended! Thank you Kim.

Kim is very nice and friendly. The food was fantastic, service amazing and the atmosphere is exactly what you would expect and want.

Kim is always really friendly and the veggies she gives as sides are the best I’ve ever had! My girlfriend and I talk about the veggies from time to time.

Kim is sassy. And her food is excellent. It’s kind of a drive from the main drag, but we were expecting that since it’s near the airforce base. On the plus side tho, it’s a local joint with no other tourists. This isn’t Bob Evans. It’s got better prices, solid food and of course, Kim. We’ll definitely be back. Next time we’re trying the spicy ramen!

Just ate breakfast here and the food and service was great! Kim cooked the breakfast herself for the six of us and it was ready very quick and hit the spot! I ordered the veggie omelet with wheat toast, more than enough food and everything tasted good!

Kims breakfast was the best. The fresh ingredients used for breakfast make it super tasty and Kim makes it right in front of you. Would highly recommend the breakfast sandwhiches!

We got the spicy Ramen soup and the beef bulgogi, and it was awesome! You have to make a stop here, you won’t regret it!

Such a cute little place and such a sweet owner! Kim is amazing. She made me spicy ramen soup with egg and cheese and it was perfect for a chilly day at Niagara Falls! Only a 20 minute drive from the State Park, this is located right outside the gate for the Air Force Base. Super cheap and Kim is funny and friendly. I hope to be back soon!

Thank you previous Unilocalers for providing such great reviews of Kim’s. Your reviews were the sole reason why I stopped by and gave Kim’s a try… and I am glad I did.
Nestled in a hole in a wall plaza next to the entrance to the Niagara Falls Air Force base is Kim’s. Walking in is like walking back in time to a hole in a wall diner. You seat yourself and have two options for seeing what they have. 1.) Menu always at every table or 2.) boards up front above the breakfast bar area which can be seen from any table in the restaurant.
Kim herself was the hostess, cook, and waitstaff for every patron each time I went here. Although that saves immensely on operating costs it wasn’t very efficient in getting the customers in and out especially if a few tables were full. Some how Kim effectively and politely gets to everyone in a reasonable amount of time. I ordered… then she really went to work.
The food was phenomenal, not good but GREAT! I had the General Pso’s chicken which was flavored perfectly and came with a side of rice and a heaping portion of vegetables tossed in some kind of delicious sauce. For expecting normal diner food I was pleasantly surprised by the entrée brought to me.
My only curiosity about this place is where are all the people? With the food as delicious as it is here I expected it to be packed on my second trip back??? The first time I dined here there were two other tables. My second time I was the only person here… how is this possible? Hopefully business picks up for Kim because I would hate to see her close up shop.

Once again, Unilocal ratings prove accurate. Found Kim’s after searching for a local breakfast joint. The place was quiet when we arrived around 10:30. Kim out on fresh coffee for us, and took our orders right away. We ordered s western and a veggie omelette, and a side of home fries. The veggies were fresh and tasty. Kim was very friendly. We’ll have to return to try her Asian and Italian specialties.

Nice place. Bright and cheerful. Good food. Had an omelet. Yummy. Coming back for the Asian burger.

My family stayed on base and had breakfast each morning at Kim’s. Great people and yummy food. The prices were very reasonable.

Once again I was impressed with Kim’s food. Had a wonderful tomato onion soup that left me completely satisfied. They sure know how to make you feel home.

Really good Asian food. Burgers are hand made, not the usual diner burgers. She manages to spice them, they are very tasty. Very friendly service.

For a little place, surprise surprise!
The owner and cook is an Asian women who did the best gen tso chicken I ever had!
Huge lunch portion.
Plus normal diner faire.

This place opened about 3 weeks ago. Located next to the Main Gate of the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station.
Had a great breakfast here! I had the Café Special and it was excellent, service was great, as well.
Great diner food at typical diner prices.
