Newtown, PA
This place is a perfect local bar and grill. It was re-​named under new ownership just over a year ago — now called Ralphie & Dee’s. That was about the time I moved to the area and this became my local favorite. Great food, great drinks, and great bartenders. What more could you ask for? Yes… there are a number of bikes parked outside on nice summer days, but don’t let that scare you away. Those riders may just be the nicest folks you will ever meet!

Brutal. Wait around forever, can’t even find a waitress. It’s now called Ralphie’s and Dees or something; maybe just Ralphie’s. Whatever the name, stay away. Horrible service. They won’t even acknowledge you if you’re not a local. Probably numerous owners and it will be renamed again, but if you know the intersection… stay AWAY from this place. Nice area; no clue why this dump is around there.

Quiet little hometown pub, great fried foods (which are hard to mess up anyway). Great specials during the week like 2 $ draft Monday’s as well as 1.25 $ burgers and 2 $ Italian hoagies. Service is ok, nothing over the top. The bar is smoking and has a convenient little take-​out fridge. Lots of TVs to watch sports, etc.
