Hands down the teeniest yarn shop I have ever been in. When I did go there were about 6 women crammed around a table knitting away, that looked friendly. But because you can’t even swing your knitting bag around in the place selection is very small. Aranged by color the place is pretty to look at, and I would consider taking a class there since the women seemed lovely, but really, very, very tiny with limited selection that I can find at any yarn shop.

Teeny little shop around the corner from Dunn & Gaherin’s in Newton Upper Falls. Fabulous selection of decorative yarns, organized by color, but I didn’t see a lot of the old stand-bys or worsteds. ALWAYS a group of women sitting and working, and the room is just right for settling in. The owner hosts knitting classes with a very disciplined approach to knitting — «there’s the right way and the wrong way. I’m going to teach you the right way» — which may or may not work for you. I’ve attended one so far… we’ll see how it goes.
