The delivery sucks and when they said 54 minutes, I waited an hour and a half. They had to clarify the delivery as like it was never going to get here. Note to self, I will never order from here again!

Veal parm is consistently good and they’ll sub veggies if you don’t want pasta. Eggplant rollatini as well as meat roll are also regular favs.

Cheese pizza & 3 slices Sicilian square.
There is more cheese in skim milk than on either of these pies. Sauce was just a splash. Crust was light and tasty. Overall very poor quality. How hard can it be to make pizza? Dough, flour, canned sauce and mozzarella cheese with some spices.

I’ve stopped in this place a few times over the years, and Dominicks never impressed me. The food is disappointing and the pizza is inconsistent. It tastes cheap – like they’re skimping on quality and good ingredients just to make a better profit. The service just as disappointing.

We go for the lunch buffet. It’s quick and easy and the food is hot and delicious. You can choose two things plus a salad. It comes with a fresh baked roll. We also had a event which they provided the food for. Peter, one of the owners, went over the food choices with me and didn’t try to up sell me but gave me good practical advice and he turned out to absolutely right. The food was delivered on time and everything was very good and in the right portions. Pasta Primavera, chicken francese, eggplant rollatini, focaccia bread and fresh rolls. All

Grilled Shrimp costs $ 8.95. It wouldn’t have been such a big deal, but when I opened up my container I only had 5 pieces of shrimp! The shrimp didn’t even taste good either; they were cold. That’s such a rip off. My delivery boy also forgot to bring a Sprite when I clearly ordered 2 on the receipt. He told me to my face he would bring it right back, then never showed up. I’m never ordering from this place again.

Honestly their food is great but the people working there are idiots first it was some idiot in a red truck bring my pizzas with the cheese in one corner or even oozing over I had to call and complain multiple times they gave me a free pizza then after this guy is no longer bringing pizzas they just get the order wrong I literally never order anything else but a sicilian and facacha bread and even if I did I wouldn’t ever get a normal pizza but those idiots dents me a normal dam pizza so yea idk what to say about this place anymore they used to be good but they have all these new idiots working there now that they have grown so it didn’t do much good I’m gonna be finding a new place to order from if they don’t get their shit together

I have ordered her a lot because I prefer it over the other places in Newton, however, a few times they have messed up the order and when you call to get it fixed they don’t seem to want to help. The food itself is very good, customer service is what brought my rating down!

Lately this place has been hit or miss.
I have ordered the veal parm on two different occasions and both times the veal has been tough and chewy. I would stick with their pizza.

Had some good pizza by the slice for lunch one day but when I ordered, a week later, a whole pie of the same to bring home it was not very good –burnt crust, overcooked sauce +toppings. A friend invited me to lunch again and when I ordered hot tea the water was tepid, sent it back. tomato &mozzarella salad was delicious but my lemon chicken main dish arrived with no lemon in the sauce. Friend’s mushroom and onion burger came swimming in oil and the onions were still half raw. Fries were good, but i Won’t be going back again.

Update:
The guys at Dominicks have really gotten into a groove!
Still need a little work on better consistency however.
(sometimes the pies have very little toppings and the calzones are half the size) but this issue is becoming more and more rare. A good thing.
The food is never a dissapointment.
The service has gotten amazingly better over the past 8 months! I think they got annew pos system for better efficiency.
You walk in for a pickup and they know your name. They are really pleasant and say thank you, enjoy, etc with a smile. Good people here unlike many places these days.
My only beef is that there is no waiting area when waiting to pick up or be seated. It gets so packed in there and you are always in the way of the servers and other patrons. No where to stand, again in a way this is a good thing as it means that they are doing things right.

Came in with my parents for an early dinner — food was passable but mostly bland. The cavatelli was drowning in olive oil, the calamari was bland and chewy. The salad was fresh though and my parents enjoyed their pasta dishes.
The service was poor. Waitress never gave her name, barely checked in on us when we got our food. Which also took roughly 30 minutes AFTER we received our appetizer! Other staff was reading newspapers and checking their cell phones instead of bussing tables and serving guests.
Unreal.
Nice décor though…

The food here is very good not the processed variety you get from other local places. We had them cater a party and they were on time with excellent portions that our party loved. The in-​house menu is very good and the staff is friendly. We eat there once or twice a week. I’m originally from NY and grew up on pizza so this was a great replacement. Having family in the Italian restaurant business I know what goes into this and I think they do a great job.

In the context of pizzerias Dominick’s is one of the best in Sussex County. My father and I have become increasingly fond of the menu and whenever in Newton we stop by.
I would recommend pizza obviously and if adventurous they have a fabulous apple chicken salad and they compliment it excellently with balsamic vinegar.

Canned mushrooms? Really? The owner, being from nyc, should be ashamed! Once they gave my pizza away to someone so I had to wait another 15 minutes. Not fun when you’re starving! Other than grandma’s pizza we’ve been very disappointed.
