Mary Lou’s Bar and Grille is not a fancy place, despite what the sign might portray.
But what you will get is a hole-in-the-wall place with a solid line-up of drinks and food.
These days, places need to have micro-brews and ironic artwork on the wall to be considered a happening place. Mary Lou’s is not like that at all.
There are a few things that do bump it down for me. The extra amenities are quite limited, as there is only 1 pool table and no other things to do. It is also a cash-only place. Luckily, they have an ATM inside, and the fees are not too huge.
All-in-all, it’s not a «date night» kind of place, but a «let’s get some cheap drinks and relax» kind of place.
