Solid good place for smoothies, plus sandwiches, wraps, and salads too!
Located near the food court at Patrick Henry Mall, Tropical Smoothie Café serves up a good variety of made to order fruit smoothies, sandwiches, wraps, flatbreads, salads, bagged chips, and Coke soft drinks. The 24 oz smoothies are $ 4.49-$ 4.99 before tax. Combo meal deals with sandwich/​wrap, chips, and drinks (soda or smoothie) are offered here, ranging from $ 4.99 (sandwich & soda) to $ 9.99 (sandwich or salad, chips or fruit, & any smoothie). The place is very cozy, which is order at the counter and there is seating inside the shop.
I’ve been to Tropical Smoothie Café several times for refreshing fruit smoothies and sandwiches (I get the Jamaican Jerk Chicken wrap), mainly at the Rochester, NH location. My favorite smoothies here include the Pomegranate Plunge, Sunny Day, and Hawaiian Breeze.
While shopping at the Patrick Henry Mall to beat the oppressive heat & humidity outside, I took a smoothie break at Tropical Smoothie Café and got a Mango Magic Smoothie ($ 4.49 plus a very high meals tax of over 13%-just like Canada). The big smoothie was freshly made and ready in about 2 minutes. The flavors of mango and pineapple, and nonfat yogurt blended well, a very sweet and refreshing frozen drink, just what I needed!
