Prometric Testing Center

Staff is rude rude rude! Extremely grumpy! I went to the ladies room during the scheduled break during my GRE, and they acted like I was a nuisance.
You’re taking a test to determine your future and their rudeness totally shakes you.

This location is very easy to miss… even with my GPS system (okay, you can laugh at me). But seriously, it’s located in a strip mall next to a pet shop and many other stores that you wouldn’t expect to find next to a testing center that will determine your future! I believe most standardized tests are taken here now. Too bad I now have a negative feeling every time I come by here! The people here are pretty grumpy perhaps because they are just fed up with all the people tapping on the glass. They have lockers for food if your test is that long and their bathrooms are really clean. If you want to stay over night to not miss your test in the early morning, stay at the Omni Hotel across the street. Their rooms are inexpensive.

LOCATION: Okay, I missed it at first… seems like a weird location. In a run down shopping center called Newport Square Shopping Center that seemed abandoned and contained some health clinic, pet shop, chinese fast food place, Amy’s dance studio and a few other shops that I forget the name of. There’s a lot of traffic through here in the mornings due to the mass exodus from a huge apartment complex behind the shopping center.
ATMOSPHERE: A bit run down inside but sufficient. Small area of wall with lockers, a mini-​refrigerator and microwave with a table. Waiting area with chairs and magazines. You are called to the back from the waiting area to register and further back are a separate room of cubicles. This area is clean and neat with functional computers. Beware some headphones don’t work but the test aides will promptly replace them for you. You are also provided with headphones that are for sound proofing seperate from headphones for listening to medial clips.
SERVICE: Staff is prompt and helpful. No complaints here. I got there before my test time and got to start 30 minutes early which was nice.
BATHROOMS: Clean and sufficient. Single occupancy only.
PARKING: In the lot. Plenty available.
CONCLUSION: Did not feel uncomfortable testing here. Not the nicest place but sufficient to get the job done.
