Just meh. For Phở I hoped for better. The price was great. I got a special 4.99 for regular size beef phở. It was a good portion. It was kind of bland. Not very tasty. But for mall food, I will visit again.

Good: service, price, and broth Bad: beef should not taste and look like presliced sausage links I will still try them again, but order something else.

I thought I’d try this place when I was done shopping instead of traveling through traffic on Jefferson on a busy night. The manager straight up lied to me. I asked for sugar to season my soup like I usually do when I eat phở(I know I’m not the only person who does that!) the manager(who gave off an uptight corporate vibe) told me first«no, we don’t have any sugar.» I said okay. I would’ve just gone to another vender in the food court for that then. And then as I was about to walk off he said«Actually its already in the broth.» My thought after that was said was, wouldn’t you have it if you use it for the broth? Even if that was the case I wanted it to balance out my Sriracha and hoisin sauce. As a person who loves Phở, I know how I like it seasoned. The lime was brown and frozen so was the chili’s, I guess I should’ve expected that given the space and location. The broth wasn’t that good either. P. S. Thanks to the lovely employees who were honest with me and told me the truth. They gave me sugar anyway. That’s good customer service on their end. I appreciated the honesty of them! 5 stars for the staff working that night and –5 for the loud mouth corporate manager. You could learn something from your employees. *TIP Go to Phở 79 for the real deal, this place is more like a trendy mall place with low quality soup.

Simple. Easy. Tasty. I’ve noticed this location in the works at Patrick Henry Mall. I’ve been looking forward to it opening for some time. Something different and unique is greatly appreciated when you’re tired of always having to eat the same options in a mall food court. I ordered the Phở Chicken and a side of egg rolls just to try the place out. Both are really, really good. I’m not Phở expert by any means but I think it’s fantastic. The portion size is very generous and the broth is amazing on these chilly fall evenings. The egg rolls are literally my favorite egg roll I’ve ever had; hot, crispy, and filled with meat and vegetables. I’m not able to speak of the authenticity of Vietnamese dishes, but for what’s it’s worth, my opinion is that this place is phenomenal. Check it out.
