Had a really great experience recently while searching for the right coffee table to fit into my small space with a new, large, L shape sofa. So bummed I cannot recall the employees name who helped me solve my dilemma. He suggested this beautiful, round ottoman then found me a tray that was no longer in the store, but he remembered seeing it online and on sale. It was perfect. Ottoman is 30 «around and the tray is this gorgeous mango wood at 28» around. It looks stunning. I ended up buying more than planned which always happens, but received $ 100 off of $ 500 total purchase so that made it better.

Overall a nice store with some crappy items and some gems at good prices.
We purchased a furniture set at this Pier 1 location and once we unpacked it at home I noticed it was badly damaged. After much discussion the manager scheduled an exchange, and the new dresser is in good shape. It was much hassle, but eventually the mater was settled in a civilized manner.
Their credit card rewards system seems very good. We are literally showered with $ 20 rewards and discounts.
Note: they do not deliver and some items are very heavy.

Even though Pier 1 is primarily a furniture/​home décor store, they seriously sell the most random stuff. X]

Aside from the randomness, they have a lot of chic-​looking furniture at very decent prices. They also sell the coolest mugs and cups! I found a mug that’s shaped like a cow udder!!! (It’s cuter than it sounds! I took a picture.)
The employees here are awesome, too! Whenever my sister needed help getting a pineapple box from the super high shelf, they were happy to grab the ladder and get it for her. I think this is my favorite location!
