Very poorly stocked seashell store. No nice display pieces, mostly little shells. I’ve been to this location many times and remember it being good in the past. Generally a disappointing visit today

What a charming store. The owner is an older gentlemen who is a great story teller. We did our second visit today; we just had to bring the kids. Owner has 4 grand kids and you could tell with how well he treated our kids. We bought our family souvenir for our vacation, couldn’t think of a better place. Now every time we hear the wind chime we will think of the friendliest shop on balboa island. Highly recommend visiting.

What a great find! We visited this shop while looking for shells to make christmas ornaments. The owner was working on the morning that we wandered in and was super friendly, helped with some ornament suggestions and ideas, and even gave my kids some shells. After finding out that we were new to the area, he even suggested places for lunch along the main street. They have a great selection, decent prices, convenient, and friendly staff.

This is a good place for a wide variety of shells, from around the world. They are reasonably priced for the most part. The lady at the front was very kind, and threw in a few extra bits for the kids. Overall if you need a beach type of souvenir this is a good place to do it at.

Also known as Island Seashell. The shop owner here is always ready to give each customer a nice«hello» and to answer any questions he or she has. They sell so many varieties of seashells for very cheap. Also, they have numerous decorative items made from seashells such as frames and jewelery boxes. If you like seashell jewelery, they sell them here for surprisingly low prices. You can also find many oddball items in here: where else are you going to find a preserved shark in a jar? Oh, and if you are a tourist desperate for some Balboa Island souvenirs, this place has a mess load of T-shirts and miniature boats with«Balboa» imprinted on the side.
