The esthetician MITRA is AMAZING! I used to do my eyebrows myself because I was so scared of having someone overdo them, but since Mitra I now can easily and quickly have my brows cleaned and shaped perfectly! She is the BEST!
My stylist JENNIE always makes sure to fit me into her schedule and do my haircuts and cleanups impeccably. She’s so precise and has executed all the different cuts I asked for exactly the way I wanted. Don’t be afraid to try new things! She can literally do it all.

Angelique is seriously the sweetest and is wonderful at color! I came in with a horrible head of color (yellow, oranges, red) and she was able to fix it in one session.

Thanks to Lauren who is a life savor I can now go outside comfortably and stop crying over my what was a terrible ugly mess! She did a complete 180 on my hair that was completely ruined by a stylist at The Style Lounge in San Diego a few days prior to seeing her. Due to how horrible my hair was I was desperate at getting a color correction ASAP and didn’t care how far I had to drive to see someone to fix my hair. I saw Lauren five days after the incident and she fixed my orange, bleach spotted mess of hair to the identical color I asked for in the first place by the previous stylist (at The Style Lounge San Diego… beware)! I would recommend anyone who is a blonde to see Lauren because she knows what she is doing!!! Just look at my photos to see the transformation she did on me. There are no words to describe how happy I am. Thank you Lauren!

REGARDING: Tessa
This girl knows her stuff. She does exactly what I ask for every time I see her. I didn’t want to damage my hair, which I hadn’t colored in quite some time, so we decided to gradually color my hair and I just love how it’s turned out. I wanted caramel ombré with lighter ends and it looks just I how imagined! Thanks Tess!!!

MICHAEL KLOMSUE is a hair GENIUS!!! I’ve been going to him forever and wouldn’t recommend anyone else for your hair color needs. You can see his amazing hair transformations on his IG: @colorbymichael. I’m an Asian trying to go blonde, and you know how hard that is to achieve… Lol on top of that, I used to dye my hair JET BLACK. Ouch… So going to Michael he made SURE my hair would not be that brassy orange color and ensured my hair will remain healthy without breakage. I have to thank ALEESE SO much for coloring my hair! She went above and beyond by making my experience incredibly enjoyable, 4.5 hours flew by. The color was perfect, she did a great job at listening to everything that I wanted. Aleese is very dedicated and passionate about hair, I was blown away by her talent. My hair feels a million times better!

Came here for a color with Aleese and a cut with Dora. My hair was very stubborn with the color but Aleese was great and made sure that it turned out the way she planned! I got a deep amber/​burgundy kind of color, and she put some lowlights in there as well. It turned out so beautifully!
Dora also did an amazing job with the cut! I just had her clean up my ends and layers at first, and we talked about what kinds of maintenance I can handle (not a lot, I hate spending time styling my hair!), and she gave me a cut that looks great blow dried or air dried right out of the shower, so I can be as lazy as I please. In the end I decided to also get an undercut, which I wouldn’t just trust anyone to do, and I love it!
Overall I had a fantastic experience and would absolutely recommend these two. Whether you’d like something a little funky and different, or classic and clean, they will be great. Side note: I had a coupon and still felt equally important and was treated very well. They also serve mimosas and other beverages as the cherry on top!

The best in Orange County! Cristophe Salon Newport Beach is chic, clean, trendy and full of incredibly talented stylists! As soon as I was done drooling over the owner’s (Scott and Jennifer Fontana) hair styles, I was so delighted to meet Nicole! She gave me the most amazing cut and blowout — and did it all in an hour! She was so knowledgable and knew exactly what would make me look good. I can’t wait to go back (especially for the neck massage I received during my shampoo!)!

LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE THIS SALON. Tessa is seriously my hair God. Everytime I go in I am given the royal treatment. I am the most indecisive person when it comes to my hair, but Tessa seems to know exactly what to do. Highly recommend this salon and Tessa as a colorist!

I followed TESSA to christophe from her previous salon, and it’s so much nicer! The décor is clean and fresh. Simply beautiful. All the stylists and receptionists are so warm and friendly. They bend over backwards for you here… For real!
Tessa did an amazing job (once again) on my extensions and color. She literally transforms my hair, and it’s given me so much confidence:) she’s so talented, and I know whenever I go see her I’ll leave looking even better than I could have imagined!

Ashley has been highlighting my hair for 2 and half years now … And she is by far the best colorist i have ever had! I am SUPER picky and i am always very nervous about getting my hair done especially with my middle eastern background my hair its not an easy task but ashley manages to get it to the perfect color everytime with balayage without damaging it. And i love that she is always very honest with what she thinks is best for my hair and what will look the best on me. She is a miracle worker and even though i moved from california i will fly back everytime i need to get my hair done because thats how much she is worth it!

Color by Michael Klomsue, mad respect for this guy. I follow him on Instagram @colorbymichael and he is top notch. I came in for the 2^nd time and was blown away with how much of a perfectionist he is. He took the time to give it much TLC. He is a master at his craft. If you could get a PhD in hair color, this guy would have graduated with flying colors. Drop the mic… Walk off.

This is a little overdue, but I had come into Cristophe over a month ago for a cut and color. I was new to the salon so I had a consultation with the owner, Scott, at the beginning of my visit. I absolutely enjoyed my time at the salon. Never before have I sat down with a stylist for a good amount of time let alone an owner to talk about me, my hair, and what I was looking for. My hair was way below my chest and I wanted to go for a short cut. He gave me some great suggestions and finally I settled for a cut a little below my shoulders. We also talked about color since I had never dyed my hair and I wanted to try it but do something subtle. Scott offered to cut my hair, I was ecstatic and said yes. The cut was gorgeous and he later directed me to Lauren for balayage. Lauren was great as well and gave me what I was looking for. I little bit of color, subtle, and sun-​kissed.
During my visit I never felt things were rushed. Cristophe Newport Beach is everything a salon should be and I have never found that at previous places until now. From the great communication, Scott, the stylists/​colorists, the assistants, pretty much the whole experience… thank you Cristophe NB.

Ladies if you are looking for an amazing colorist please do yourself a favor and go see Michael Klomsue! I could not be happier with my hair. As you know Asian hair can be difficult to work with to achieve a beautiful blonde and Michael was able to deliver exactly what I had asked for. My hair is a beautiful ashy blonde balayage ombré from my natural color. The dimension and transition of colors is gorgeous! He is fast and very efficient with his time and very attentive to your needs. My hair has never been so healthy after this much color! He only uses the best products such as the olaplex to keep your hair healthy.

This review is for Michael. I can’t begin to say how talented and how amazing he is at what he does.
I was referred to him by a friend who swears by him. I am very very picky and can be cautious of letting anyone touch my hair. (Due to bad past experiences) But after seeing the results of my friend’s hair I decided to give it a try. Needless to say, I could not be happier with the results! My hair is very long and he was able to get my hair exactly the way I want it (Ash Bronde) without destroying my hair. It looks amazing & healthy! See the photo I posted!

Regarding Tessa!
I came in with uneven, tiger striped hair and just a botched hair dye situation. Tessa gave me a sombre balayage and got rid of all the uneven orange stripes I had. She lightened me up so much and I love it! It is a balayage so I don’t have to worry about my roots growing out or anything. Very easy to manage and so many fun ways to style! Tessa was so nice and definitely took her time with me, there was no rushing whatsoever.
The salon itself is very upscale and clean and makes you want to come back. Very good customer service.

I love this salon! Very upscale, chic, and incredibly clean and professional every time I walk in! Being in the center of Fashion Island in Newport Beach, it’s really hard to miss.
This salon is now the only place I will ever go to for my hair coloring. Lauren Wagner, one of their colorists, is amazing!!! I love her work and she always treats me incredibly well every time I walk in! I would recommend her to anyone who wants to go lighter OR darker! She can do it all. Thanks Lauren for everything!
Always getting complimented on my hair and I owe it all to her :) She is seriously the best!

My first few visits went great till I decided to switch it up and get an ombré instead of my usual highlights. I showed multiple pictures to the colorist and I felt like we were on the same page yet once I got home with my hair still damp (as you don’t get a blowdry when getting color) and styled it the way like it I found out, that instead of Lauren Conrad ombré, I got a chocolate brown hair. I went back the same day to get it fixed, however things did not get improved much. That was my last visit to the salon.
The fact that what I got didn’t even remotely resemble what I asked for is unacceptable and sending clients home with wet hair is even worse.

Stu is awesome! Best cut I’ve had in a long time. I have coarse, kind of wavy hair and he was able to cut it so that it doesn’t get crazy even when I don’t blow it out. Even though it’s a little spendy, and looks a little old, the quality definitely makes it worth it.
