Great location. Fast service. Wait times on weekends were less than other locations I have been to. This one has really stepped up their game. The server was very polite and a great atmosphere for myself and my family. Looking forward to coming back here again.

service was fine, food was the usual IHOP quality but wow, the coffee was absolutey horrible. It was bad enough where that alone will make me hesitate returning.

Waited over an hour to eat dinner and we ordered breakfast food, finally another waitress came to us and said that they only have 1 cook on for the night, the food was hot but 60 minutes for breakfast food, no one asked if we wanted refills on our drinks, no one explained what was going on within that time, and our original server was unpleasant, ihop was at one time a great place and this bad experience was not my first

Solid IHOP location. Service is generally quick and food is consistent. There is a wait on weekends but they turn tables over pretty quickly. Front parking lot is small, but there is plenty of parking in back.

I’ll get right to the point, this place sucks, waited 40 minutes for food that NEVER came. Our waitress came over and informed us that my order got«pulled» whatever that means. So she had to put the order in again mind you we were a party of 2. Her order was ready but mine got pulled SMH we got up and left and just paid for the coffee we drank, and the OJ that was room temperature 40 mins later. Manager then asked if we wanted to take the order to go since she claimed our order was ready.

The food isn’t bad, quite tasty. They charge a lot for the amount of food they give you, I know a local breakfast place that is about the same price but a lot more food. But I am giving this place 2 stars because of the wait. Here is a list of things I can complete, come back to my table, and my food will still not be ready: –count every grain of sand in the world –die and decompose –count every strand of hair on my head –convince Donald Trump to be a democrat –pay off the national debt –cure cancer –repair the economy –make Zayn join One Direction again Honestly, forget the alien conspiracies. The biggest American conspiracy/mystery is why it takes so long for this iHop to cook some eggs and pancakes. I demand that the FBI investigate Newington iHop. Also the bathroom stall is too small.

Been wanting 20 minutes after ordering for breakfast. People who came in after me have been served.

Absolutely horrible management and worst service ever! Waited over an hour, 11pm-12pm, during a week day for food with my 3 small kids and husband. We ended up leaving at 12:15 with no food and hungry kids. There was also a couple with 3 kids very upset at the register leaving because they were waiting over an hour food as well. Management did not even apologize or try to compensate. Never coming here again. Very rude.

Terrible service!!! I went on a Thursday at 11:06 am and at 12:22 pm I still had not been served my meal or even given an explanation as to why it was taking so long. I had to rush to work and hungry at that. Not to mention on my way out there were numerous parties waiting to be seated and a bunch of open tables. I will never go there again!!!

I think 2.5 stars out of 5 would be a more accurate rating for this IHOP; it was completely and utterly mediocre. I came in today(a Saturday) with my parents for brunch. There were some highs and plenty of lows. To start off with the lows: The wait was incredibly long. This was true for getting seated, getting our orders taken and getting our meal served. We came at around 11:15, hoping to only catch the tail end of the breakfast traffic. Oh boy, were we wrong in our strategy. We waited about 20 minutes to get seated. 10 minutes later the waitress finally came to get our drink orders. And then it took another 10 minutes for her to get our drinks and take our orders. It took another 25 minutes to get our food. Overall, we probably spent more time waiting than eating. The not so low: the waitress for halfway friendly. She wasn’t as crabby as I would be with how busy the place was. I could tell that she was trying to do her best to get everything done as quickly as possible. The food was also more than halfway decent. Would I go back again? It probably wouldn’t be my first choice in breakfast/brunch places, but if I was between a rock and a hard place, you’ll find me back at this IHOP.

I was very unhappy with the situation at IHOP today. First we were seated next to a very loud and obnoxious group of teenage girls and couldn’t move because it was full. Then it to 25 — 30 mins for our food to come which was mediocre at best. I got the strawberry banana French toast combo. The French toast was just okay and the eggs and bacon were nothing special. I would recommend not coming here with children and this was this slow at 10:30 on a Tuesday morning.

After a long day at work I found myself craving something other than fast food for my late night dinner and ended up at IHOP. The wait was extremely long and my hopes were not high considering it was 10PM. I could not have been more off base with my assumptions. Our waitress Chantelle was a great waitress working alone but managing all of her tables with a smile on her face and no sense of panic. The food came out quickly and was delicious. I ordered the pancakes and eggs with bacon.(I substituted chocolate chip pancakes) I must say the bacon was amazing much more flavor than other more upscale breakfast places I’ve dined at. I will definitely be back.

The food always comes quickly and is hot and delicious. The place is a little run-down but not dirty — perhaps just well-loved? Servers always friendly. But keep in mind on the weekends at breakfast/lunch they are VERY busy!

Someone took my phone order like a human! And gave me total this time! that’s something i got the simple fit balsamic chicken with broccoli and it was good! I didn’t have to spit out one weird bite!(I think it was supposed to come with a salad and it didn’t) I was informed that the bacon burger was terrible. overcooked and tasted old. But I can say the fries were good.

I’ve tried this IHOP several times, usually early Saturday or Sunday morning so the wait isn’t too bad to be seated. They will not seat an incomplete party on the weekend, no exceptions. Food can take a while, but the servers are as attentive as they can be. My issue with this location are the tables. Along the front wall they have«half booth» tables(with a bench on one side and chairs on the other) they have very tiny tables crammed into a row, so tightly that the staff on every occasion I have been there has sat two separate parties of two at a table set up for four. It’s awkward and because of this incident last Sunday, I will not be going back. There are several other breakfast options very near that do not force you to have breakfast with Strangers.

Well, it’s IHOP. You know what you’re getting into: great pancakes, and borderline inedible everything else. It was a boring Friday night, so my girlfriend and I decided to stop in for a cheap meal, made even cheaper by my girlfriend’s unhealthy obsession with coupons. (Hey, it could be worse, she could be obsessed with Jersey Shore…) Anyway, the waitstaff was inattentive at times, the speed of service was mediocre at best, and the food was, well good… but only because I ordered pancakes. In fact, I ordered the Harvest Grain pancakes, and was pleasantly surprised at how good they were. I can only assume they’re cancelling out the health benefits gained from the whole wheat with a healthy dose of saturated fat… (I’m a cynic.) Just one caveat, this place gets PACKED on weekend mornings. Not worth a 40 minute wait for a cheap breakfast that can be replicated at home in less than 40 minutes…

IHOP is not a chic West Hartford Center breakfast place, so I wasn’t expecting an epic meal. This was my first visit to this particular location. As usual, neither my boyfriend nor I had any plans of our own on a Friday night, but we knew we needed to go out. Since I had a coupon that was expiring in a couple of days, I figured that it would be a cheap date and knowing that is a Friday night at a breakfast, we had a good chance of getting in. We walked in, got seated, and were served pretty quickly. I had the spinach Florentine crepes and the unlimited coffee. I’ve had it before and it is one of the more unique platters on the menu. Unfortunately, it was one of the worse choices on the menu, according to my nutritionist and RD-in-training boyfriend. He ordered SIMPLE&FIT Blueberry Harvest Grain ‘N Nut Combo, which was one of the healthier options. When I went up to the register to pay, I had to wait 5 minutes before an employee came up. The person who took my money had a pissed-off attitude. And she forgot my receipt, which had a survey for me for free pancakes. For $ 13.76, I got two entrees, a pot of coffee, and hot chocolate, I can’t complain about the price. I prefer the Cottage Grove Road location in Bloomfield is a lot better.

Great food and good service. I loved this place I brought my 2 kids here. The waiters were really kid friendly.
