The food here is good during their special events. This lodge is not easy to access since it is within a Senior Community, however you can just tell the guard at the gate your there for the Masonic Lodge. They do have Public Events, however seems the Public isn’t interested in joining in the fun. Please note, this is not a «restaurant», it is a Masonic Lodge where most anyone can Visit on their meeting nights and enjoy a meal which is home made. For more information about this Lodge see their webpage

My best friend invited me with his family to have 6 P.M. dinner at the Masonic Lodge in Newhall as a birthday gift. This would be my first time going to an organization with Freemasonry background. Apparently, I have been here before with my dad when I was younger, but its just spooks me that someone I know might have been a member or possible founder? lol. Nah, it was just a relative. The Masonic Lodge is located within a senior, gated community. You’ll notice golf carts and mainly, seniors walking around. There is a security booth for visitors and there is a line for people who live or work inside. The Masonic Lodge is located right by the entrance and across the golf course. We were walking to the picnic area and were greeted by Masonic Representatives. The event that was happening was the Eastern Star Steak Dinner. The Dinner was $ 15 per person, but my friend’s mother paid for all of us. The dinner consisted of baked potatoes, salad, bread, and your choice of steak or chicken. It was delicious. There was also a cake appearance and tasting contest. My friend was chosen to taste all 10 cakes.lol. Its heaven to eat it, but at the same time, a lot to burn calories. Just to note, I like the Cake that was shaped like a circus. That was a lot of dedication to the cake designer. The meal was great, it was probably better than Sizzler’s. It was just a wonderful day outside. People having fun, no noise problems, no one ruining anything. I didn’t quite ask about the Freemasonries, but I do know that Freemasons are quite historic. I would love to come back to their next event and have a quiet and friendly atmosphere. Have Fun here and Keep Unilocaling!
