Carl’s Jr Restaurants

I was in line at the drive through for 10 minutes when there was only one other person in front of me. I ordered the taco salad and the first thing I saw when I opened the box, was a lot of water and soggy lettuce. Disgusting. Would not recommend this tacos salad or this Carl’s.

My food was amazing and was exactly what I asked for! They made it crispier than ever! Delicious! ¹⁰⁄₁₀ I love this Carls. I have been coming here since I moved to SCV 16 years ago! Victor took my order and he was so polite! He told me to «Have a great rest of my day!» That really meant a lot because of emotional stress I had been going through recently. Carmen, who I believe was the manager, was very nice and brought my food to my table with a big smile on her face! BEST CARLS JR OUT THERE!!!

WORST SERVICE EVER! I went drive-​thru and got my order. When I arrived home, I noticed TWO breakfast sandwiches were missing!!! FYI I live 6 – 7 minutes away from. Anyway I called right away and spoke with the manager, Mohammad. I went back and they gave me two cookies for free. Either way this was so annoying! I don’t have to be driving back for their mistake. NEVER AGAIN

Worst Carl’s Jr I’ve ever been too. Horrible service. Obviously intelligence isn’t needed to work here. I will never be back.

The person at the register, Mohammad, should never have been at the register. He does not know how to take an order, he couldn’t figure out how to run the credit card machine, and when I came back with cash instead of my credit card in 2 minutes he made me go to the very back of the line. Not to mention his inability to speak English was very annoying! I will never eat at this location again and I suggest others steer clear of it as well.

Slow service but good food. Also, while waiting for take out order a server was tidying up, saw a soda lid on floor mat in front of soda machine. He picked it up, looked at it and placed it on top of the other clean lids. Hopefully this isn’t a common occurrence.
I’ll go to a different location next time if I have the time. Went to this one because convenient to where I was doing biz.

Never coming here again!!! I drive a large vehicle so can’t go thru drive thru parked down the street walked up in the rain, sign says the ding room opens at 6:00am I got there 6:02am and stood out front in the rain for 20 minutes the lady at register saw me then pretended to ignore me! Terrible customer service, just plain cruel to make somebody stand in ten rain like that, especially when you are supposed to be open.

First, let me say that I purposely created an account just to explain my frustration because clearly by me trying to talk to management and not getting any results… it must be needed.
I have only been to this Carl’s Jr. about half-​a-​dozen times and each time there has been something wrong, I will share a continuing problem I face there and my experience today that led me to give a bad review.
I am not sure what it’s like ordering inside the restaurant because I have only gone through the drive-​thru, but every time I get my food the fries are cold. I even ask the person taking my order, «Can you please make sure that my fries are fresh?» This has happened twice and the first time I left without checking and they were cold. The second time she gave me cold fries and I asked her to put fresh ones in there… HAHAHA and you know what she did? She took the fries out and re-​fried them to make them hot and then put them back in (the only reason I know this is because I worked fast food for a few years and know what it looks like when done).
My experience today. I ordered a western bacon cheeseburger on a fresh-​baked bun with a coke. I decided not to say anything and just see how the service would be. The gentleman who was helping me was actually really polite compared to the others who have served me in the past. When I got the food, the fries were cold as all my other experiences. Also, they put my sandwich on a regular bun but charged me for the fresh-​baked that I ordered. At to top it all off… the put a little sticker with the receipt on it outside the bag now that reads «100% accurate.» That is friggin hilarious. That means that this kid, regardless of how polite he is, looked in my bag and said to himself, «Ya that looks about right.» Luckily, I’m not mad anymore because it’s happened so many times now that my emotions are gone, but I decided to get this dudes name for the review, so I called into the store and asked the manager for his name. As soon as I asked for his name she gave me a bitchy attitude and kept asking why, so I told her I was writing a Unilocal review so she finally gave it to me… his name is Victor.
I don’t understand how there are 5 star ratings on this business. Honestly, I won’t spend another dime there and hopefully their continual shitty service will make others do the same. I’d be down for a Telly’s in Newhall. Thanks.

Just had the best customer service from Cynthia T. In drive-​thru. She got my order correct and was fast. I havent had good service from a fast food place in a while. Especially drive thru! I got the all natural burger to see what all the fuzz is about. I really didnt notice much of a difference. As long as it has no steroids it sounds good to me! Definitely coming back when im around the area.

Walked in at 750 and walked out at 755. Normally that is completely fine and no problem except that no one came to the front to help at all, even after I said hello to try to get their attention. Oh well, I decided to go across to the store and buy things to make breakfast so thank you to Carls Jr for inadvertently not letting me give in to laziness and make something healthier

This Carls Jr has very good Customer service when you go. They are some days that they just are frustrated but that comes from working at a fast good Resturant. They also do get busy during lunch time for being close to Hart High School and still they get you out of the door quick. Awesome place to come and eat.

fries were cold and the burger wrapped like they threw it together. Bad presentation and food prep. if you have the time, I suggest walking in to the restaurant. This way, they’ll have to do it. Drive thru here sucks.

NOT FAST FOOD at all. This is probably one of the most consistently slow drive-​thrus I’ve ever been in. It wasn’t this bad before when my friend Carl used to work here. Since then, its been pretty darn bad.
I went here on a lunch break thinking it was the fastest thing to get in the area. I was SOO wrong. I ordered my food, which was a one dollar chicken sandwich and a drink… I waited so long at the window that they made me wait in the parking lot, as I watched other cars behind me get their food and go. I had to have been there for 20 minutes. I could have gone to grocery store, browse, buy my own stuff, cook it and eat it in that time… haha, I know I’m exaggerating… a little.
ROUND 2! Let’s try this again… going to a friend’s house, I tried get a bite to eat… they fooled me AGAIN! got a little more complicated order… Western Bacon Cheeseburger. Same 20 minute wait.
CAN’T fool me 3 times. If you’re hungry and got places to be, just run inside or find a different Carl’s Jr.

This is the local branch of my favorite burger chain. For some reason, about 10 years ago their quality dropped to 3 star and I stopped going, but they’ve recovered again. I also like their Green Burrito line of Mexican fast food items. Not all branches carry those.
But I’ve still got my gripes, because I can remember when they were 5 stars of deliciousness! I ain’t bullshitin. Back in the 70s (and maybe early 80s) they had HOT DOGS. Awesome hot dogs (the chain started as a hot dog cart.) And crinkle cut fries that had to have been fried in lard to have been as good as they were. Their fries since then, right up until today, SUCK. But the item I miss the most is the Old Tyme Star — basically Carl’s version of McDonald’s Quarter Pounder — ketchup, mustard, pickles, and onions. Wow, gimme a time machine. I’ve tried to special order manipulate a famous star into an old tyme star but it just doesn’t work. :(
$ 5-​$ 10 per person. Reliably yummy in spite of their lost glory, and still the best burger chain overall. 4 stars.
