Riverwalk brewing company is the Star of the north shore. Unlike many other breweries who are in it for the money – this company is in it for the pure love of beer! The flavors are unique and crafted by hand and by heart.
It’s a small space so I wouldn’t recommend going here to drink and hang out, but even better I would suggest taking your beer home and enjoying it in the beautiful surrounding that Newburyport provides!
Check their facebook or give them a call for hours as they tend to vary, and if you’re in the area it’s a must try – If they are closed and you still want to try (because you really should) stop by a local restaurant like The Grog or The Deck and grab a glass on draft!

Riverwalk Brewing — you are so cool. We came here on our quest to complete the Massachusetts craft beer passport. The funny thing is that unless we had done that we’d never seen or heard of Riverwalk beer because they had not yet started bottling (but they have now).
This is some good beer. They also have some great stories. Uncle Bob’s bitter is a great beer with a great story — so really the best of both worlds.
They had a great couple of porters on tap when we visited, and some English styles that we did not think we would like, but ended up loving.
A hidden gem for sure!

I accidentally discovered their beers because I was attracted to the growlette in the package store. What a happy accident!
Love their IPA! Blackberry porter! And the kettle ale.
I love the richness of their IPA– full bodied, smells like I am standing in the field of hops. Rich aromatic.

Great beer, friendly staff — can’t wait to watch them grow!
Went for tastings and a tour — tried 5 of their beers (on the house) and was really pleased with their «Unveiled» beer. Their IPA with citrus and pine was also very enjoyable.
Not only do they have growlers, they have growlettes!
