Carrie is the only person in this whole area who can sculpt and file stiletto nails beautifully. I’ve been to every nail place in a 20 mile radius with high expectations to be let down on a fill or a full set of acrylics. I will never go anywhere else, she listens to what you want and will file until you’re happy! I can tell her one is a little crooked and she will ask what side is crooked and fix it! If you’re unhappy with anything she’ll fix it. I love her, I’ll never go anywhere else!

Far from an awesome experience. Barely any massage with both pedicure and manicure. Massage chairs hardly function. Manicure water went cold I sat so long waiting. The owner Kari talked me into a gel manicure, which I specifically said I didn’t want, and she said it was something different, and only took 5 min. Between a pedicure and shellac nails, 2 hours! Not happy smelling chemicals for that long. And then my toes + gel nails chipped the next day.

the WORST gel manicure I’ve ever had…
firstly, I chose a color, and even though I said I thought it was the wrong color 2 times, the woman proceeded to do my nails trying to convince me it was the same color…
it wasn’t!
even after the mani was completed, I showed her the color I picked and she said, «oh ya, it’s different, but it’s nice isn’t it?»
NO I did not like it… she didn’t offer to change the color, or for me to come back for a discount, or free… wth???
after 1 day my nails also chipped which NEVER happens with gel — esp since I was on vacay and literally did nothing with my hands!!!
def NOT returning to this salon — it’s $ 2 more expensive than all the other salons in the area too!

This is Lovely Nails. I went today without an appointment and was lucky enough to get Mya. She did a fantastic job on my pedicure. She was very thorough and excellent at her job. The place is clean and appears to disinfect the equipment. The prices are reasonable and the service friendlier than most places in Newburyport. Thank you again for a great pedicure!

The women working here are always pleasant and happy to see you. They listen to your concerns and follow direction well. Their services are reasonably priced. I am always pleased with my nails after leaving. I think this salon is a great competitor for other local nail salons as it provides the great services you would expect from a higher end place at a more reasonable fee.

I am new to the area and have tried one other place. When I came upon this place driving down Merrimac St. I decided to give it a try. Carrie, the owner, was fantastic. It is a small, more boutique nail spa with very reasonable pricing. I experienced a full spa pedicure with salt scrub, massage and gorgeous nails for my pedicure. I highly recommend her and her spa. i will definitely make this my go to for nails.

I live in Newburyport, am not a «regular» at Vickis, but have gone 4 – 5 times. They are always courteous and kind, I get a great mani/​pedi on the cheap. Considering that the next cheapest pedi was 50 $ in this town, paying 39 for a mani/​pedi together is worth the «cramped interior» the last person complained about. I dont consider it cramped — its like any other nail salon I had ever been in, its not a SPA, but it doesnt claim to be so either.
