Troy Pizza & Family Restaurant

My dad picked up a couple pizzas from here. It was my first (at least that I can remember) time that I had Troy pizza. I enjoyed it very much, and it was cheap (I think $ 17 for two pizzas). Much MUCH better than Season’s, or even Pat’s. I’ll definitely be back to try it again.

I gave this place 2 tries and it has been terrible both times. The pizza dough is terrible and tastes frozen. The cheese and sauce have zero flavor and also taste frozen. I ordered a baked pasta dish for my wife and it was extremely greasy. She had to literally use a soup spoon to get all the excess oil out. Pizza is bad and so is the rest. NEVER again, which is a shame because it’s so close to my house.

Called Troy Pizza to place a delivery order. I specifically asked the man on the line (who I think was the owner or manager) I asked him if their tuna salad is made with «light» or «white albacore» tuna. There is a huge difference in texture and taste, and white albacore tuna is the only way to go.
Anyway, he insisted that their tuna salad is made with white albacore tuna, so I placed my order. When it was delivered (90 minutes later– that is another issue) I could see that I was lied to, the tuna salad was made with «light» tuna… and it was downright nasty. They also forgot the sides for a part of the order. I did not appreciate being lied to, and the guy knows he lied to me, just to make a sale.
This place lost a few spots with me. I will not order from them again. And the delivery was made to my home nearly 90 minutes after the order was placed, and I was told it would be 30 – 40 minutes. There are far too many other sub and pizza joints to choose from, I wont be wasting my time with Troy again.

Troys rocks. Cheap ($ 5 large cheese pizza on Mon-​Tues-​Wed), tastes great, and always friendly service. Can’t beat it!

Friendly service, Excellent pizza… Way better then Pats and/​or seasons! recommend to everyone that wants to try something new… You will not be disappointed.

Friendly Service, great Pizza shop/​sub shop style food. Pizza specials a couple days a week. Nice seating and clean restrooms. The kids love the food.
