Pizza for morning breakfast, perfect. No reason not to — better than most of the options around here. Slice wasn’t thin crust(more medium thickness), but hot and still a good snack for the pre-flight. Pepperoni slice was $ 6. Pay at the card machine shared amongst the area food vendors. Terminal C towards the 100+ gates.

I actually enjoyed my experience here. The staff was friendly and the food was pretty good. I would come here again during a layover. The pizza slices I had was feta and tomato thin slice, along with the artichoke with pepperoni deep dish.

This place doesn’t have the best reviews. Unfortunately, I hadn’t had anything to eat for 8 hours, and this place was the closest to my gate, so it was picked based on needs, not desire. It’s supposed to be «Jersey style pizza»… I’m not familiar with this term. I equated it to Pizza Hut meets ummm… Well, whatever. The different pizzas are made and cooked, then sit out for customers to pick. They then reheat and serve. I did not realize the pieces are cut into big squares. I made the mistake and got two square pieces(i was very hungry, and figured they’d be triangles; I didn’t bother to take a peak at other customers’ purchases). I purchased two Sausage, Mushroom & Onion squares. The sauce is on the sweet side. The sausage was big chunks; unfortunately, not much taste. Onions and mushrooms? Where? Visually, they’re there. Taste wise? Not too bold at all. Probably the main disappointment for me was the cool(temperature) slabs. Fresh from the cooks, and the first few bites where just above room temp. Get in a few bites more, and it was room temp in an air conditioned space. Also, the crust looked like it’d be light and airy, almost focaccia-esque, but not the case. I picked off the toppings of the second slice, and left the rather hard crust for the trash lords.

Over priced pizza typical of an airport. We were in the C100s section and the location across C80 is actually better. Not sure why but the pizza looks, smells abs tastes more fresh. Still, $ 5 for a slice warrants better quality and better service.

The pizza is just okay, the customer service is poor. The employees don’t know what some of the toppings are. And $ 8 for a slice of pizza is insane! What kind of business doesn’t take cash? This is bad even for an airport.

It was cheapest option at the airport to eat before getting on the plane. I know you are probably saying pizza at 7am, but if you didnt want to pay a million dollars for a gourmet sandwich that didnt look like much you would choose pizza too. The pizza was okay for what it was, but dont look for that new york style taste. The staff were friendly and there were no lines which was 4 stars, but the price is still expensive. The airport should be ashamed of themselves for charging so much for food. Thats why its good to eat before you go.

Pizza was just fair. Service is disjointed and inefficient. Order your slice and they hand you a piece of paper and mumble about paying«over there» while they point to a non descript area of the food court. Your supposed to then take your slip and use a self service register or a cashier at a totally different restaurant. None of this is apparent. The OTG management of the restaurants in the Newark Airport is a mess. Overpriced and mediocre food along with impersonal services.

It wasn’t that good. To be fair, it was decently sized so it did fill me up. It’s apparent that the calzone had been sitting there for a while. It was nice that they put it back in the oven before serving it. I think that this place is a bit cheaper than the other places in this food court, so may be worth checking out, depending on what your budget it. It’s on the side, so you have to access it from the terminal/non-food court side to see this place.

A nice slice of pie for the airport. There are a variety of other options available at this section of the airport but sometimes you can’t beat a nice slice of pizza. They had a great selection of flavored sodas that took me back to my childhood. Nothing stuck out to be extra special about this place except that they had a great variety of slices available and I was able to start eating pretty quickly-I don’t know what it is but traveling makes me hungry! The maneuvering for trays of pizza and luggage is a little challenging; the buddy system will work well for this.

Let’s be honest, Newark Airport doesn’t have many good restaurants or food choices to begin with. Finding a spot to chill and feed your tummy can be quite difficult. Upon arriving to Newark at Terminal C, we were to take the train back from, but the train wasn’t arriving for another hour. Of course, we were hungry since we didn’t have a good meal on the airplane either. To kill time and to take care of our tummies, we finally settled with Tagliare Pizza. The pizzas were nothing special, just like regular pizzas. Also, they were a little oily and quite thin. It was especially pricey ranging from $ 6 – 7 a slice, and it’s not even like one of those Jersey shore pizzas that are extremely ginormous! It was at the least very hot, and the cheesy was pretty gooey. It’s kind of sad for the workers and the customers, but the workers look so bitter.

Tagliere NJ Newark Airport: Terminal C: Delta 11:30am Wednesday 18th August 2015 Three Stars The service was a bit slow by airport standards. However the slice was not bad at all. I had the pie of the day which had bacon, pepperoni, sausage, basil, and ranch. The cost was a whopping $ 7.5 but still had not horrible for the captive audience and the large size of the slice. This is a great place for last chance east coast pizza.

I travel for a living. I’m in restaurants /bars every week and I just experienced possibly the worst customer service of my life. Ordering pizza here was painful. A young lady who works on Sunday late nights with long braids(my experience was Sunday August 2nd20151013pm) might have the worst attitude known to man. If there is any management out here reading this, please dismiss this woman from being the face of your establishment. She doesn’t deserve to have any respectable job. I was appalled a human being can be this rude.

In terminal C this was the best option for us on our early flight to Aruba! Yes it’s expensive and yes it tastes like airport food. However, the staff is friendly and there were almost no lines… 4 stars for that! Mi lady had a cheese slice and I had the breakfast pizza. It was ok for airport food, please don’t try to compare it to NYC pizza folks! All in all we were able to get a quick bite, board our flight and be fine for our 4 hour flight. I don’t think we will return, but give them a try if you don’t want to wait in lines and speak to the cool staff. Safe travels folks!

Despite the low ratings, I gave this place a try, because everything else in Terminal C seemed worse. $ 7 for a sausage slice is a pretty lousy deal, but that’s just how airport food is. I am not a New Yorker, but I thought the crust was slightly undercooked(it was just barely yellow) and it was not crisp at all. Strangely, despite the crust being overcooked, the toppings and the cheese were practically burnt. It was almost as if they broiled the pizza. The topping were also extremely salty — but still edible. All things considered, I guess it was OK for airport food, but disappointing for NY/NJ pizza. It does seem that you could do worse and pay more at Newark.

First time in Newark, NJ and my hubby stopped at tagliare to grab a slice of pizza. I usually don’t like pizza but this was pretty darn good. The service was fast and friendly. The servers were energetic and funny. The pizza was visually appealing. We ordered a slice of pepperoni and they popped it in the oven as we headed to the end of the counter to pay. Crust was crispy, cheese was gooey and flavor was on point. Although a bit too greasy, it was still pretty darn good.

I loved my slice. Yes, it was one of the most expensive($ 7) slices of pizza I’d ever paid for, but it was big, greasy, crispy, chewy, hot, and perfectly seasoned. Quintessential New Jersey pizza. I would order another slice in a heartbeat. I understand Unilocalers *hate* bad value, and yes, a $ 7 slice of ‘za is pretty high-rent. But it’s easy to justify if you think in terms of say, a $ 10 boxed sushi roll down the hall, or a boring $ 13 pastrami sandwich on rye from the deli place. Gimme a perfect comfort-food hit-the-spot calorie-bomb slice every time. I had the sausage, pepperoni and bacon slice. The cheese slices look a little weird because of the obviously New Jersey style cheese(orange in color) so I’d stick with the slices with toppings.

«We are not allowed to give out cups of water.» Ok that’s the first time I’ve heard that statement. As for the pizza, the tomato and onion was ok. It was a bit doughy. Better than 2 Bros Pizza.

It’s rare that you ever walk out of a fast food pizza place and say«wow». While the food here is average airport food, the staff is awesome and very nice. Whatever they are doing here to create the atmosphere, please do not change it. I was there on Wednesday February 4th around 430 pm and the service was impeccable. The team was just so happy that I had to say something to them. I pulled an older gentleman aside who was cleaning and asked for a manager. There wasn’t a manager there at the moment, so I told him how great our experience was. The menu could use some expansion with sandwiches, and some ingenuity with the pizza/calzones, but it’s not a bad place to eat at my the airport. I would recommend it just for the happy experience.

Terrible. Two locations. First one went like this: Me– Hi! I would like the crew/employee special please. Them– yeah. That’s Two slices of cheese pizza. We ran out. Me– oh ok. Is there a substitution? Them– no Me– Second location(close to the gate where I was heading): Me– Hi! I would like the crew/employee special please. Them–(gave me a «look») After heating up the slices, they tried just giving me one. I had to ask for the second slice. They handed it to me. Reluctantly. And with another«look». Pizza was so bland. Tasteless. Greasy. Super pricey unless you are an employee. Even then, it’s a waste of money. Entire airport has gone downhill with food choices. No thanks.
