I stumbled across this place by accident and I must say I was pretty pleased. It’s on establishment with two completely different cultural backgrounds. There’s a Turkish menu and a simple Korean menu. I tried the Grape Leaves for the first time but it’s an acquired taste that I haven’t been accustomed to. I opted for Korean and got the Chicken Teriyaki Bento. The Bento consisted of rice, teriyaki chicken, a small salad and a slice of orange. I feel as though the portions were ideal for me. I don’t like getting a ton of food where I can’t even move by the time I’m done so that was a plus! The lady who served us was so kind! Aesthetically the place is not appealing but I like the fact that I can actually see them cooking. I heard their gyros and platters are great. So I may give them a try. I would go back again. I wouldn’t recommend if you are looking for a quick meal unless you’re getting a platter or gyro. But everything else is pretty good.

As a student, having a home cooked meal is a rare occasion. Michelle’s Bento at Sahara’s definitely feels like a classic home cooked meal. It comes with a large side of rice, a medium size portion of chicken, a small side of salad, and a candy bar. I also added a Snapple, which caused my order to come to about 11 dollars. For the amount of food & the wait, a slightly cheaper price would of been fair. The wait was very long because only one person was here: 30 – 45 minutes. The chicken teriyaki is basically chicken breast cut in squared coated in a nice teriyaki sauce. I recommend coming here if you have the time: a quick meal in between classes isn’t going to be found here. But if you want a simple meal, here is a good consideration.

Their platter is amazing ! I had the chicken one. It’s huge for like 8 bucks plus change. It’s very filling. The place itself is kinda dingy but I usually get a take out. And they put the platter together in front of you so you know exactly what’s happening. White sauce. Put a lot of that !!
