This damn food is so good it makes you overlook the ridiculously long line and asinine ordering system which involves an Asian women asking you for your order 20 minutes and a quarter mile away from the payoff spot. I have waited so long after I paid once that I got my money back and went elsewhere to avoid starvation… only to return next time for the delicious pad thai and soup. This place would be 5 stars if it could fix the ordering system(think Soup Nazi).

Sure it’s thai in a mall but it’s really pretty darn good. I got a noodle bowl that blew away any foodcourt food I’d ever gotten.

Ruby thai is the best you’re gonna get at the Christiana Mall. The line may be long, but that’s because the people on line are willing to wait for quality food. I was really craving Thai food that day I was shopping and didn’t feel like eating from any stall, but my company wanted a quick bite, and we settled on food court food. I saw the line at Ruby Thai was shorter than usual, and jumped at the opportunity to try it out. I ordered the shrimp pad thai, and realized I was third in line for my order, fyi, every individual’s pad thai is freshly made from scratch, so I probably waited a good 15 minutes before I got my food. For $ 6.95, they packed enough food for 2 people, and I probably counted 10+ shrimp in my pad thai. These were not small little shrimp, but a decent size. And I could not believe this was what I was really getting for $ 6.95. Alas, I couldn’t finish the entire box and actually felt reluctant to thrown it away. This place also has typical American Chinese food and that does not require as much of a wait. But I highly recommend their pad thai.

I came to the mall several times and this Chinese place always has a long line. The good thing is they were cheap and the size was big. Me and my mom(we eat kind of less) can share one order and both of us were full. I always get the bang bang chicken, fried fish, spicy shrimp, tastes good.

Always crowded. Best blackened catfish around. They are always willing to give samples always just ask and you can taste anything before buying.

There’s nothing Thai about the food here! It’s more like standard mall food court Chinese food. That aside, portions are big enough to be satisfying and you can get the food pretty fast since it’s all ready on steam trays. Just don’t go there expecting authentic Thai food and you’ll be fine.

Blackened fish was very fresh and delicious. Food looked fresher than most mall Chinese food vendors. Very large portions. Well worth my7.55!

Nothing really ‘Thai’ about this place. Really just another run-of-the-mill mall Asian-style food places. Greasy chicken and rice. Don’t expect anything resembling Thai.
