Rita’s Italian Ice

I always thought this shopping center did poorly, it seemed like an eye sore at the end of main street. But now that I’m going to college in the area I’m happy to have a Rita’s in walking distance. It was the perfect place to stop before heading to the movies right in the same lot.

I can see a bunch of college kids thinking this is pure awesomeness. But this location is always super packed in the summer, and they raise their prices by obnoxious increments every single year. Yeah I do like the water ice, but seriously, I dont enjoy paying their overhead too. Pass.

Reasonable prices with above average food, but the women who run Rita’s are unpalatable. They were rude to me as well as unwelcoming. They were not warm at all and it seemed that they hated their jobs.

It’s that wonderful time of the year again when rita’s opens up. The birds begin to chirp, the sun is up high, and not a winter coat in sight. I come here at least 2x a week during the spring/​summer months because I’m a water ice lover and rita’s has never done me wrong. I’ve had just about every flavor on their menu and the custard as well and loved it all. My favorite flavor currently is the «island fusion» because it tastes like mango only… better! It tastes like a cross between mango and pineapple I’d say but I can’t really put my finger on it. Who cares. It’s delicious!
Some of the flavors they have are the following: cookies and cream, mango, watermelon, cherry, swedish fish, vanilla, alex’s lemonade, raspberry, and the list goes on and on. As far as the custard they only have chocolate and vanilla.
Try this place out and I promise you won’t be disappointed ^.^

It’s Rita’s…it’s excellent. Needs no review, but if you want, I’ll talk flavors. Get the wild cherry which has chunks of cherries. Or the mango, or the rasberry lemonade, oh boy, now I have a Rita’s craving… again…

Ok, really, who could dislike Rita’s?
Ritas has the tastiest water ice and custard I’ve ever had. I always look forward to heading there for a tasty treat!
They have a large selections of flavored ice and their custard is definitely to die for.
Rita’s just makes the summers a little more special.
