Great ice cream at a great price! Very clean and kids love the gold fish pond. Only complaint is that we had gotten a Veterans discount many times last season and this season. Late in this season we were told that they don’t offer a Veterans discount. kinda rudely. Since then we only use the drive through. which we LOVE!

Scads of choices and decent prices. The kids will love the waterfall and fish pond inside. And a drive-thru ice cream place? Genius! It’s very clean, fresh, and new, since it’s been open just one year.

3.5 rounded up to 4. The basics: 63 flavors of soft serve plus several hand scooped flavs and shakes and floats. They also have the standard selection of burgers and hots menu with picnic tables and inside seating and a screened in gazebo. The place is so clean and tidy it looks like they just opened. Beyond those basics is a rather unusual establishment exploring the boundaries of entrepreneurship. Pulling of Route 31 just West of Newark and into the parking lot one finds a unique selection of businesses that occupy the property. Going East to West there is s space to buy bark and gravel, then the food trailer that supplies the grilling and frying portion of the Mr. Coolee’s menu, then there is a antique store /gift shop/menagerie called«The Right Spot» then the Ice Cream shop that is the main focus, then kind of the back of the lot is a truck/vehicle weighing scale operation, and at the far, far West end of this sprawling complex is a fleet of trucks and dumpsters for K&D disposal(a waste disposal service). And while that certainly sounds like an odd mix, perhaps even un-appealing at first blush, the businesses are clearly divided, and the lot and the property and the dining areas are all amazingly clean. If these are indeed all run by the same folks they certainly have broad varying business interests. The cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato was pretty decent, mad to order and had a seasoned beef patty. The blackberry shake(medium ~ 32 ounces!) was more than I needed and had a decent consistency, thick but drinkable. I can’t be certain because I did not get a good view of the shake being made but I suspect the shake machine has a basic«shake» blend to which one the five dozen plus flavors can be added, rather than say mixing up milk(cream) with ice cream and berries, for example. I suspect this because the color and texture were uniform and the whole drink consistently smooth even to the every end(no chunks of half-mixed berries or ice cream clogging your straw). For what I gathered talking to locals who go here or regularly pass by the place can get busy of evenings and some weekends when entire groups of families visit.
