They dropped our sandwich in front of us and tried to still sell it on. They are unprofessional high school kids. Yeah it’s an airport but come on man.

Stick to what you know. Jersey sub sandwiches are delicious but stick to the classics. All the fancy sauces didn’t sit well with me.

I had a perfectly serviceable Cuban here, even if they pulled it from the fridge and nuked it. Good juice selection.

For all the competition at the airports they truly suck. Ordered a Ruben and they grilled it for 10 minutes with a thimble of sauerkraut.(It’s freaking cabbage) Over cooked thinly sliced pastrami. With way to much dressing on a large roll. I folded the meat and reduced the bread in half. I would strongly suggest the villa Italian kitchen that is 15 feet away

My wife got a turkey sub here today when we landed because she was starving and it was actually pretty good! She gave me half… my only complaint is that the hoagie roll was dry. But still, this is a better sandwich option than what you find at most airports, in my opinion.

What a great option to have at the airport to pick up a quick sammy if you didn’t have time to a) eat before your flight or b) pick up something delicious for your flight. Located at the entrance of Terminal A, before security and if you know Newark Airport, Terminal A is the WORST for food options. Friendly tip: if you’re bringing your sandwich through security, don’t forget you can’t bring your soda! I almost forget and almost opted for the chips and soda deal, but I caught myself. I went with the turkey & provolone sub with the works(lettuce, tomato, onion, oil, vinegar, s&p. I added additional pickles to mine.) Everything was fresh, tasty and for $ 9 a little bit of rip(I’d say it’s probably $ 6 not at the airport), but way better option than a stale bagel from one of the coffee stands. Jersey Mike’s is a decent sub chain, way better than Subway and I’m glad to see it at Newark airport for those hunger pains.

It might have been closed for remodel but I’m eating a sandwich right now. Staff was friendly and understood travelers may not be familiar with their menu. Delicious. Dining area has hard chairs

The best franchise subs in the business! I use to go to one near Freehold back in the day before it spread throughout the country I never had a complaint about the food or service. I like quality of the meats and the bread is always fresh. The two things I don’t like about the airport location is the prices are high but it’s the airport so it is expected BUT the main thing is they don’t pile the meat on like the one I use to go to. Given a choice between Jersey Mike’s, Blimpie and Subways it would be a Jersey Mike’s hands down but this location needs to step their portion game up.

Portions are way too small… every other experience I’ve had at other jersey mikes they pile the toppings on… here not so much plus ur paying airport prices.

On a trip back to NJ with a 36 hour window to get back to Idaho you typically don’t get a lot of time to see the sights and eat lots of treats. As I arrived at the airport I realized I was about to leave NJ without having any pork roll. As I wandered around the airport I realized that this may just be a fact of life. I walked though the food cart and realized all my options were corporate food stands. Le sigh… then I saw a Jersey Mike’s– good enough for me… as I walked up to the counter I realized this was different. they were serving breakfast! So long story short I got my PEC, it was reasonably priced($ 6) and it came up quick. Friendly server, short wait, decent food– #winning

I used to eat here all the time while in EWR. I’m simple. I just want a steak and cheese. Butttt you guys keep making the portions smaller! WTH?!? If there were only more options, I would go somewhere else :/

The only place in the airport to get a decent sandwich. Jersey Mikes may be a bit expensive but well worth it especially in the airport where decent food is hard to come by. Sub Way cant touch this place. JM slices your meat fresh and in front of you not that crap that sits around all day at Sub Way. If your at Newark Airport and you want a good fresh sandwich your best bet is Jersey Mikes

A friend told me about this new sandwich shop. Try not to eat at the airport much. It can get a little expensive. Not this place. They have breakfast on english muffins for about $ 5.00.For lunch, starts at $ 6.00& goes up from there. You can get a combo. Which includes a healthy sized sub, bag of chips & drink for under $ 10.00.Not a bad price for the airport!
